About me:Hey all, my name's Kelly :) I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan in the United States. After graduating University with a degree in Film Production I packed my car and moved across the country to Los Angeles. I worked in Film Advertising there for five years until I decided that I had a lot more of the world to see. So this time I packed my suitcases and moved to Spain! I lived there for two years doing travel photography, videography and teaching English. After that I headed over to India, Asia and Japan getting lost in countless temples. Which brought me down under to live in Australia for a year, which is where I first started leading group tours and absolutely fell in love with it! Since then I've lead tours around Australia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. I love meeting people from all over the world and sharing my love of travel with them! The best part for me of every tour is that moment when you realize these people who were strangers a week or so ago have quickly become your new travel family :)

One life adventures has taken all the hard work out of travelling in Sri Lanka! Having everything planned for us has ensured that we didn’t miss a thing! We have done so much and seen so many hidden gems in Sri Lanka that I would never have known about. It has been action packed with great adventures!! Our tour guide Manju spoke excellent English and knew everything there was to know about every location we visited. He was very knowledgeable and helpful! We learned a lot about Sri Lankan history, about Buddhism and much much more!
Kelly was fantastic, she’s so outgoing and energetic, she really kept us all going throughout the whole 12 days even when we were up at 5am!
I am a huge animal lover so I mostly enjoyed the elephants, whales, turtles, the birds and the dog shelter! My only regret was I didn’t take any dog treats!
I will definitely be going on another one life adventure. It has literally been a once in a lifetime adventure! Thank you Kelly, Kacee, Manju and our drivers for making it so special.

Kelly and Manju and the drivers were amazing. It was great that Kelly really knew the area (I guess that comes with it being her last tour). Manju was amazing and the best local guide. He is so knowledgeable and caring.
Having the nice air conditioned bus to look after all of our things was brilliant. You didn’t have to carry all your things on trains and between accommodations.
Really good company that supports local businesses and I would 100% do another one of their tours in the future.

It was an unbelievable experience that allows us to do so many activities and explore Sri Lanka. We experienced the country in an ethical and sustainable way which is so refreshing.
Our guide, Kelly, was amazing and was super knowledgable, fun and helpful to allow us to have the best holiday and get the best Instagram pics!
Having the added extra of Manju as our local guide to have everything seamlessly organised was awesome, not to mention his knowledge on the country. Our bus driver and his assistant were great and I loved having the comfort of knowing they would get us everywhere safely.
I have added on the Maldives so hopefully that is equally as awesome.
I definitely will be travelling with One Life again to make it a triple.

Our tour guide Kelly was the perfect blend of organised, adventurous and fun. She was always accommodating and always on hand to make sure you got those Insta worthy shots. Our local guide Rihas absolutely stole our hearts with his smile, commitment, knowledge and love for Sri Lanka. We *always* felt safe & our awesome 2 bus drivers Gamini and Buddika handled the roads with ease and confidence. Apart from all of the activities on the itinerary, one of the highlights of the tour was learning about One Life's commitment to responsible tourism. We stayed in locally owned hotels, ate in locally owned restaurants, undertook activities with locally owned operators and had the opportunity to not only visit a kinder garden, dog shelter and women's surf school but to see the positive impact One Life were having on these organisations. This tour beyond exceeded my expectations - I could not recommend more. See you in Indonesia and the Philippines!!

If Rihas was the smile, Kelly was the laughter. She brought a lot of energy to the group and set an easy-going friendly tone for the whole group to follow. She was flexible trying to balance individual preferences vs the needs of overall tour group. Lots of handy hints along the way and always responsible in advising safe behaviour as well as promoting fun.

The included activities, transparency of the company, communication before the tour, and overall professionalism far exceeded my experience with other tour providers (ie Intrepid). I felt in very capable hands with Kelly, Rhias and the team- always ready to help. Really good info received before the start of the tour and throughout so I felt organised and knew what to pack for each day etc.

I had a great time in Sri Lanka! The group and the tour through Sri Lanka was amazing, we saw so much of this beautiful country and made so many different activities! The whole experience has been amazing, the group activities were great and helped us to get to know the rest of the people in the tour, our guide Kelly was above and beyond expectations, she helped us from the beginning answering all our questions before we even arrived to Sri Lanka and helping us with everything we needed during this adventure. The acomodation, the restaurants, the activities and everyone else involved in this trip has been absolutely amazing. You would be hard pressed to do all the activities by yourself for the same price. The tour is very busy at time, especially in the first 6 days but becomes more relaxed when you get to the beach. Kelly and Manjuu were both fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guides and were extremely flexible when things like the rain got in the way of activities. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Sri Lanka for a short amount of time and wants it packed full of adventure!

However on the flip side, be prepared to spend more than you do elsewhere in Asia on food etc. Kelly’s super organised, always gives lots of information on where we are going, times etc. There was a couple of days where our itinerary had to be changed due to weather or train cancellations but somehow Kelly and Manjuu made sure that we still got to do everything that was on the itinerary, and they made it look completely effortless. At points the itinerary can be a bit tiring, so prepare yourself beforehand that the trip is pretty exhausting but you truly see all of the highlights that Sri Lanka has to offer and you wouldn’t be able to do that on your own in the timeframe without following the timings set by Kelly and the Onelife team. Couldn’t recommend it more, definitely book on you won’t be disappointed and fingers crossed you get Kelly as your tour guide as she will make it all the better along the way too!

I’ve just finished the Sri Lanka adventure tour with Kelly and I have had the most amazing time. It is the best tour I have ever done. It is the best tour I have ever done. It was well organised, Kelly, Manju, our bus driver and his assistant were all so friendly and helpful. The bus and all the accommodation were always clean. The tour packed in so much activities in a 12 day tour. It was a great combination of hikes, swimming, surfing, cycling etc and the relaxation, massage and parties. I can not recommend it enough and I would definitely book another one life adventure tour. Their company ethics of creating a sustainable impact on the country and local communities was demonstrated and we saw different people and parts of Sri Lanka which you would not see travelling independently. All the restaurants were a good standard and i felt that the tour was good value for money with the amount of meals and activities and considering the level of accommodation which was included. I did the optimal activities of: some of the hikes, massage, surfing and elephant safari and I would recommend them to somebody booking this trip. Thank you Kelly and the One Life Team!

It's perfect that there's a non-local guide as well as a local guide. Kelly was an amazing guide who was always helpful, cheerful and motivating. Also the local guide (Manjul) as well as the bus driver and his assistant did a great job and were always friendly and helpful. I can totally recommend this tour to everyone and I'm so thankful for having made such an unique experience. Also a big thumbs up for the refillable water on the bus :)

The accommodation was SO much better than I had anticipated. The food I’ve eaten has been some of the best I’ve had and out of all the countries I’ve visited Sri Lanka is definitely my favourite.

It is great to see One Life supporting sports many local charities and communities. Kelly is an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. She made it all seem completely effortless! It was invaluable also having local tour guide Manju with us as he is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Sri Lanka. Some hikes, some cultural activities, some chilling and plenty of freedom to add extras or to sit things out and have extra chill time if the activity is not your jam! One Life make an effort to give back to the community and to practice and influence sustainability. It makes you feel even better about your experience. This particular tour ticks off so many of the great things Sri Lanka has to offer. It’s perfectly planned for a seamless trip!
The guides - Kelly was absolutely fantastic and made the experience even better! She is so warm and welcoming to all customers and she was very accommodating with us all; nothing was too much to ask and she put in major effort to make sure everyone was feeling good. She has an infectious positivity and superb professionalism! I wish she could be my tour guide every where I went! Also had so many fun guides and contributed extra touches along the way.
Rihas the local guide was an absolute star too. Kind and funny and filled us with so much local knowledge at every stop.
The drivers were just great too, sweet and prefessional.
I would happily do a One Life tour again and would reccommend the Sri Lanka one to anyone!

I came as a solo traveller and the total peace of mind of having everything organised made for a stress-free trip. The itinerary was jam packed with amazing experiences, some I never would have had had I not done a tour. There are lots of early starts but all totally worth it and it's also a pretty physical trip with lots of hikes which were actually one of my favourite parts of the trip but worth being prepared for and bringing trainers! Some of my highlights were Pidurangala rock, the tea plantation visit and cooking class. The accommodation was much higher standard than I expected and the food was great. The only thing I can possibly say I didn't like was I felt a lot of pressure to pose for the perfect Instagram snap which for me took some of the enjoyment out of just experiencing things in the moment but I guess others would love this! Our guides Kelly and Rihas made the trip, they were always full of energy and enthusiasm and nothing was too much hassle. They taught us lots about the places we visited and Sri Lankan culture, as well as just being a lot of fun. This is my 2nd trip with One Life (Philippines Oct 2018) and I can't wait to book my next :)

You could ask the local guide Rihas all the questions about Sri Lanka, he always knew the answer and was very concerned about the well-being of the group!
Kelly our guide was super cool on it and was for every fun to have. It was also no problem to skip an activity if you prefer to chill at the beach or pool.
All in all a great time in a great country! :)

The trip was well planned and organized, which was probably due in large part to Kelly.
You still had enough free time, which you could spend at the beach, eating or "shopping" as you like!

Her playlists and quizzes on the longer journeys made them fly by, just brush up on your Mean Girls before you leave home!! She was so easy to talk to and never made you feel like you couldn’t ask for anything. Riyas the local guide was also amazing, he was so knowledgeable and always smiling! The bus driver and the assistant also deserve a shout out for driving us all over Sri Lanka and lugging our bags about, always with a smile on their faces!
The itinerary kept us busy but there was always the option to take a little time to yourself if you needed a break. It was such a varied 12 days with hikes, amazing views, whales, elephants, turtles, cooking, surfing and so much more....including amazing food!
One of the great things about this tour is how much is included. I have been on tours before where there are lots of added extras when you get there and it’s hard to work out a budget but on this one so many activities and meals were included. This was my first solo tour but I feel like I’ve made friends for life and we’re already planning on a reunion!

From Kelly, Monju and in the beginning Mike our tour guides, to the 2 bus drivers, the many great activities we did (cooking class, train ride to Ella, the hikes to Ella Rock, little Adam's Peak, visit to the tea plantation, safari, etc., every day was great. The accommodations were top notch, especially the night at Safari Camp. It was so much fun, so unfortunately the time went by way too fast. It will definitely not be my last tour and I am already looking forward to another one. Many thanks to all involved for the unforgettable time.

Our guide Kelly was incredible helpful and organized extra activities for us requested. I’d definitely recommend the surfing lessons in Mirissa.
