There was such a range of activities, places to see, people to meet and things to try that it felt like I was away for a lot longer than two weeks. Couldn't have asked for any better!

This was partly down to our great Group Leader Sam, who organised loads of games & ice breakers to help us get to know eachother better. Sam was super knowledgeable & friendly & always happy to answer our groups (many!) questions. The tour was really well organised, I can't believe how much we managed to pack into 12 days. Would definitely travel with Intro again!

Our tour guide was very informative, friendly, organised and chilled at the same time. The bud journeys were very entertaining and I actually miss the journeys due to how fun they were. I had a fantastic and friendly group and I couldn't have asked for anything more. We even wrote our tour guide a little thank you poem as a token of our gratitude. Sam Davey is an asset to your company. I would highly recommend this tour and I have booked into 2 more trips with intro travel.

Good mix of activities, good amount of time relaxing as well. Managed to do a lot of things within the twelve days but never felt overwhelming.

It was like going on holiday with a friend who took care of all the boring admin, did all the emotional work, booked everything etc. I didn't need to worry about what might come up, how to sort a PCR test, how much to tip etc because he had it sorted. I would definitely recommend the tour and would do one again.

The accommodations weren’t always great (some hotels didn’t have hot water) but It didn’t bother me that much. Our tour leader, Sam, was very chill but very professional. He was able to handle each situation with grace, and made our trip truly unforgettable.

It’s clear that he loves what he does and is passionate about travelling and sharing that passion with everyone in the group. Given the time frame, the itinerary was really well organised. I do have to come back to finish seeing Vietnam. Most of the places where we stayed were quite good, the food was overall delicious (except for the food on the boat and the island in Ha Long Bay), and the transport was very well organised.

Sam, the tour guide, made sure everyone always felt comfortable and included and we were very lucky that everyone in the group got on so well.
Some of the accommodation was sometimes a little dirty and I would have preferred a clean hostel to a basic hotel.
I would 100% recommend an intro trip to anyone!

But straight away soon as I met Sam and the rest of the group I knew it was going to be an amazing trip. Each activity has been amazing and all the different places we have been to have been surreal. I have been to places that I would of never have thought of gone to or been able to go too. I wish I had booked the 12 day one as I am genuinely gutted I am leaving. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone that is wondering about coming over to this part of the world. Last but not least. Sam has been a great tour guide and enjoyed spending this time with him. I hope I get him to do another tour in the future

2. Given one of your small change initiatives is animal welfare, I found it contradictory that one of the activities was deep sea fishing. Fish are animals too. Causing unnecessary distress and suffering to fish for the sake of human entertainment is akin to riding an elephant or attending a circus with animals.

The activities were well organised and a good experience. The killing fields, S21 prison, boat trip and snorkelling on Koh Rong and all the activities in Siem Reap were my highlights.
Improvement - The accommodation in some places was very under par. The Phnom Penh hotel room had no natural night due to the windows facing a wall and the pool area was so loud due to building works all around. The Kampot accommodation had no usable swimming pool and very suspect showers. The Koh Rong accommodation (even though beautiful) meant that pairs had to share double beds and had no air conditioning or nets in most rooms.
Lub D in Siem Reap was perfect.

I feel Sam suits his role really well as his communication skills are top notch and would recommend anyone using Sam or the tour itself in the future. I appreciate it can be hard to work the long hours and constantly having to be ready to answer questions, but with Sam he was able to do this to a high quality and at the same time could enjoy the adventure with the rest of the tour as well. Thanks Sam.

Our tour leader, Sam Davey, was fantastic! He’s patient, very informative and got us around all these great places without a hitch! He’s bubbly, fun and kept us all happy and laughing on our long days.
My main complaint would be about the accommodation in Koh Rong. I understand it’s a remote, third world island but I wasn’t happy that I had to share a bed with a woman I didn’t know very well and we didn’t have air con (just a fan on the wall). We had an overnight power cut and it was hellish trying to sleep in that hot and humid room without a fan. The hotel staff didn’t seem to care when it was reported and they just shrugged us off. After the brilliant accommodation in Kampot, it was a massive downgrade which was disappointing.

Koh Rong is amazing! The bar crawl was so much fun and the island is so pretty. The overnight bus wasn’t great but part of the experience. Lub D hostel at the end makes up for it!

Just wanted to give special mention, to our guide, Sam. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always happy to answer the 101 questions we fired at him first thing in the morning. It really helped to have such a nice person taking us round such a beautiful country.
For anyone thinking of booming this trip, I can assure you that you won't regret it!

I loved all the other travellers in our group and will keep in touch with them in the future. Our guide, Sam, did a great job with our group to make sure everyone felt included and gave us recommendations during our free time. Although we did not have a lot of time in each place, I felt we got a great idea of what Vietnam is like!

The hostel in Hanoi — clean and cool, homestay in Ninh Binh — just amazing (modern and clean bungalows with only two people per bungalow), even the night train was ok (quite a long journey, around 12h, but quite clean and comfy). Definitely recommend this tour!!

Hotels/accommodations were great, really good quality and locations (would have loved more time in the Ella hotel, that view was stunning!).
Our tour guide Sam was amazing, really loved his energy, getting to know everyone and making our time in Sri Lanka the best it could be. A lot of fun was had!
I’ve used a couple of tour companies for other trips and I’m really happy with Intro overall. Really well organised, good communication beforehand, pricing is very fair, and the app was very handy when on the tour just to know where you were heading on each day.

Simply put the trip was wonderful. Im sure there is more to Vietnam than the 9 days, but if there is a person who could do more in that time, then they must be an insomniac. Firstly, and most importantly, I want to say a huge thank you to Sam for making this trip the way it did. Sam went above and beyond any expectation I could have had in leading the tour. As we jokingly recalled later in the trip, my negligence had left him stray at the airport for 2 hours even before the journey began! Beneath it shows the caring side of a person willing to give up so much of their time just to make sure everything was fine. It can't have been easy to manage a group of 20+. When I left the trip, there had not been a single issue between any of us and though some things may have been a little different, ultimately, I have realised that making new friends and exploring a country well are my objectives well fulfilled here. So much of this is down to the way it was all managed.
Some secondary notes to that, as a vegetarian I was a little anxious on meals out here. However I felt well catered for throughnout the trip and although a couple of days the food is repeated that's no different to how it may be in London for me. The trip does have a lot of travelling inbetween it, so if you want to drink and my word did we (this is optional) then be prepared to be have a rough journey or two. Again completely self inflicted. Vietnamese people are lovely and seem as keen on travellers having a great time and again this only tops off what was a superb holiday.
Ive been lucky enough to do a few of these tours and whilst they have been enjoyable, this and a previous trip to NZ were incredible. Their endeavour into making this trip not only honest in showing the country but to make sure they squeeze every bit of fun they can from the journey is why I wanted to say more than just "thank you".

Tour covers all the highlights of Cambodia & has great itinerary. The places we saw were breathtaking from Freedom Island to Mekong delta, each place offered a new experience.
I did feel like we did spend too much time in Ho Chi Minh and it was my least favourite part of the trip, the city is very western compared to everywhere else we visited. I would consider changing the first part of the trip around slightly as the first few days are very party heavy, but you didn't have to join in if you didn't want to.
