About me:My name is Sochea Chuon, a tour guide from Cambodia. Before becoming a CEO (tour leader) of Gadventures, I was a local tour guide in Siem Reap, Cambodia over ten years. I was born in a village of rural area of Siem Reap. My family had to move from the village for our safety as war was raging there. We moved to a village near Angkor Wat where grew up. Angkor Wat was my playground in my childhood. I used to swim in the moat surrounding Angkor Wat. I and my grandmother often went inside this temple for collecting bat dropping for making fertiliser. It was always a dream to work in tourism as I had seen many tourists coming to the temple and senior tour guides explaining about it. I started learning foreign languages. I learnt a little of every popular language - French, English, Japanese - Now I use only English. Other languages that I don't use have all left my brain. I like travelling and believe that travel can make a positive difference through sustainable tourism development.

If I would have to give a point of improvement, maybe it would be nice to see more of thailand, as you spent most of the tour in Vietnam (which was also great).
