- Our guide did not behave appropriately and when a member of the group show and him the problem, he just continue with the excuse of joking. Also he never allowed us to stop for a moment to see the local small shops with the excuse of lug time. But on the same time he made a long stops in areas that were away from those small local shops. This was made all the time and in all the medinas. Finally he guided us to some larger shops to buy from them and he explains that the products are guarantied. Everybody in the group knew that he did all this for the commissions he get from the large shops.
- The program said a visit to Royal Palaces in each city. With the exception of one, the visit was to take a picture of the main gate of the Palace, what a joke.
- Meals were not included and every day we stop for lunch to some "traditional" restaurants (with only tourists as customers and a menu of 3-4 different options) which were extremely expensive compared to the price we had on many very good local restaurant that both locals and tourists used to eat.
- Morocco is a very nice country and I suggest a visit to other people. I may visit it again but not through a travel agent.

Would definitely recommend this trip as an amazing way to experience what Egypt has to offer.

Very enjoyable. We stayed at the standard hotels and were happy. They were old but clean. The last day was very long, driving from Fez to Marrakech, but overall it was a nicely done trip. Thanks!

But having said that, it remains my favourite holiday to date ( which includes my most recent trip to sri lanka, with another group. twas also excellent, but I think intrepid...had the edge....

DO NOT pick this tour if a solo traveller who speaks only English. I was with 2 lovely French couples who spoke not much English and I no French and 5 of 6 nights I was in a separate hotel. I emailed Tour Radar 3 days ago to complain and have yet to receive an acknowledgement if my enail. Go with INTREPID instead.

We were well taken care of from being met at the airport on arrival until we were delivered to the airport for departure. Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great and the hotels were excellent. It's a great way to see the highlights of Egypt. We were glad we didn't go any later because of the heat and next time would go a month or two earlier when its cooler.

We had an extraordinary trip to Egypt on the Discover Tour. I highly recommend that you consider taking this tour as everything went smoothly and was even better than we expected.
A tip for all Americans. PLEASE STOP BEING SO NAIVE ! For me it's incredible how easily my fellow travel mates were fooled into going to "local" places with prices at least 5 times bigger than the res…A tip for all Americans. PLEASE STOP BEING SO NAIVE ! For me it's incredible how easily my fellow travel mates were fooled into going to "local" places with prices at least 5 times bigger than the rest, even ten times once. Please pay more attention to local prices and stop paying ridiculous ammounts for everything, just because the guide says it's a good place. Every place the guide takes you he gets a comission. Absolutely nothing is done for free in Egypt. Instead of spending time at the alabaster shops or perfume shops, papyrus shops ( the guide says it's "educational" ) we could have spent more time at the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum or other extremely interesting sites. Also the tip the guide asks for is ridiculousy high ( he said 15 20 dollars per day, per person ). Even on the website the recommended sum is between 10 and 15 dollars. At the end of the tour he gave us envelopes in which we should write our name and put his tip money in it. The tip should be an entirely voluntary gesture for excellent service, we should not be pressed with envelopes and writing our names on the envelope so he knows how much we gave. The total ammount of tips he would have recieved would have been at least 1500 dollars for a week. For Egypt this is ridiculous. Please instruct your guides to stop giving envelopes or suggesting how much money we should give to him and actually mentioning that the tip is entirely voluntary and personal. For me this was a disgusting gesture from the guide.
For the positive side of the review, the trip was extremely well organised. Everything was very punctual and efficient. Also the sites visited are magnificient. I meet some extremely nice people on the tour with which i hope to remain friends. Also we had enough free time to relax or visit other sites individually. I had some really nice experiences and can recommend this tour for this. Just be ready to be considered a walking credit card.
