- Day 1
Palma Airport to Can Pastilla
Pick up your rental car and drive 10 minutes to Can Pastilla. The rental process usually takes 45-60 minutes. Try to schedule a midday arrival to avoid morning traffic in Palma. Check into your beachfront hotel where you'll stay for three nights.
- Days 2-3
Can Pastilla & Palma
Start your first full day in Palma's historic center, a quick 15-minute drive away. Visit La Seu cathedral early, before 9 AM to avoid crowds. Walk through the old town's narrow streets and stop by Santa Catalina where fishermen still bring in fresh catches daily. On day two, take a mountain village tour through Valldemossa, Deià, and Sóller. The 75 km loop takes about 2 hours. Get to Valldemossa's La Cartuja monastery before 11 AM when tour buses arrive.

Can Pastilla to Can Picafort
Drive an hour north to Can Picafort, your northern base. If it's Tuesday or Sunday, stop at Alcúdia's market on the way. Get there by 9:30 AM for the best selection of local produce. Spend your afternoon exploring Alcúdia Bay's beautiful beaches.

Caves of Drach Excursion
Take the scenic 2-hour drive to Porto Cristo to see the Drach Caves. As one local guide notes: "Wear comfortable shoes with good grip - the cave paths can be slippery. The underground lake concert is magical, but bring a light jacket as it's consistently 21°C inside."

Northern Coast Exploration
Discover the northern region's highlights. Visit Cap Formentor lighthouse early morning to avoid traffic. Check out artistic Pollença, especially during Sunday's morning market. The beaches near Can Picafort are perfect for afternoon swims, particularly Playa de Muro with its 5km stretch of clear shallow water.

Return to Palma Airport
The airport is about an hour away. Leave extra time if driving between 9-11 AM during rush hour. Fill up your tank before return - there's a gas station just minutes from the airport.
