What people love about Lares Trek Tours in June
- Lares Trek to Machu Picchu 4D/3N
Francisco the guide was so amazing, his knowledge was fantastic and so interesting! He made sure we were all safe and looked after and was kind and funny with it!
- Lares Trek to Machu Picchu 4 Days/3 Nights
hospitable and knowledgeable hosts that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He took the time to point out amazing details about the flora, fauna, and overall landscape that we never would have noticed otherwise. The food prepared by our chef, Herman, and his assistant, Hernan, was out of this world. From the moment that we woke up, we were provided with hot beverages, three fantastic meals, and enough snacks to feed a small army. As for our porters, Victor and Serafina, they were always on the move helping to provide us with hot water and towels, packing/unpacking gear, and corralling the mules. I can't stress enough how much their hard work enabled us to focus entirely on our trek and its beautiful sights, without having to worry about logistics. These people are absolute wizards. As for the trek itself, the scenery was so gorgeous that it nearly made Machu Picchu an afterthought. Camping within full view of mountain peaks and glaciers under the starry sky is something that I will not soon forget. Thank you for such an unbelievable experience!
- The Lares Trek
Wow! What a trip. Eddie (Edison Romero) and JC (Jeiko Cuenco) were entertaining, well informed and very engaged with the whole tour. They seemed invested in our success and they really bonded with the group. Food was unreal! The chefs outdid themselves in their meals. Also accommodating for people with dietary restrictions. I never went hungry! The trek itself was breathtaking (sometimes literally). The views were stunning and the trails were great. Felt like something out of a movie. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
