What people love about Self-Guided Tours in Minho
- Minho to Porto self-guided bike tour
Well it wasn't the trip we expected! An accident early on day 1 resulted in a day in hospital and we could not continue the cycling. However Authentic Trails were wonderful at looking after us and enabled us to continue the itinerary with transfers. The initial briefing was thorough so that when we needed emergency assistance we could find it. The emergency phone line was helpful, and the team kept in contact regularly via phone calls and whatsapp to ensure that we had the help we needed. They did a lot to help keep the injured party as comfortable as possible, and found ways to enrich our visits to the various places on the itinerary. We would unhesitatingly book with them again, knowing that should the worst happen again, we would be in helpful hands. Our experience of the Portuguese medical services was also good - long waits, but appropriate and thorough care. Accidents happen, but if they do, this is a good company to be with!
