We did a customised version of this tour that involved just the trip to the waterfalls. This was fantastic, a great driver who gave us some history and background for the drive, and stopped us at a lovely stop for tea between. We also stopped at markets and the driver supported us with haggling and speaking with locals - a really great experience. The waterfalls were breathtaking, no other way to say it. We had a private guide who explained everything to us clearly, knew great spots for pictures and reserved amazing eating seats at the end of the tour. The guide further helped us speak to locals to make some purchases. Really fantastic and would travel again with them. I’d just recommend tea without sugar.

Summer sees more people reach the summit than any other season, with different ways to tackle the climb. The 7-day route gives you proper time in Aroumd village - our clients consistently say this makes all the difference. If you're used to altitude, the 3-day direct route might suit you better. Summer lets you sleep out on guesthouse terraces under the stars, with the refuge providing shelter higher up. The guides plan around the heat, often starting before dawn so you catch sunrise spreading across the Atlas mountains.

Autumn brings better visibility and cooler hiking weather, making it great for photos. While the 3-day direct routes work well, many people go for 5-day trips to explore quieter valleys too. The autumn light really brings out the mountain scenery and the trails are more peaceful. The 3-day direct ascent works really well with our small groups of 4-8 people, and we provide proper winter gear along with experienced high-altitude guides. The mountain refuges are pretty basic but they're exactly what you need in winter conditions. Our travelers tell us how much they appreciate the hot, filling traditional meals after a day in the cold. We keep the routes flexible too - if the weather turns, we can switch to alternative valley paths that still give you that winter mountain experience.

Spring's perfect for climbing Toubkal and you can really take your time with our 6-day valley routes. You'll see walnut trees coming into bloom while you're getting used to the altitude.
