Our 5-day, 4-night safari with Migration Venture Africa to Mikumi and Ruaha National Parks was incredible! From start to finish, the experience was well-organized, and the southern Tanzania parks offered a unique, off-the-beaten-path safari adventure. Day 1-2: Mikumi National Park We kicked off the trip with a smooth transfer to Mikumi, where we enjoyed comfortable accommodations and a great introduction to the park. The open plains of Mikumi were teeming with wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and lions. The guides were exceptional, providing in-depth knowledge of the park’s ecosystems and wildlife. Day 3-4: Ruaha National Park Next, we headed to Ruaha, a much larger and more remote park, where we were treated to stunning views of rugged landscapes, baobab trees, and vast savannahs. We saw large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and lions, along with an incredible variety of birdlife. Ruaha’s peaceful atmosphere made for an intimate and rewarding safari experience. Day 5: Final Game Drive & Departure On our last day, we enjoyed a final morning game drive in Ruaha, spotting cheetahs and other wildlife before heading back to Dar es Salaam.
