Rural Bulgaria at its best! Quiet forestry tracks, nice accommodations with charming hosts, home-made food... topped with right on time transfers and route descriptions detailed enough to make you feel safe along the trails. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday away of the crowds this is the right place for you!

Excellent tour company! We are returning customers, who were impressed the first time we used Traventuria. And will definitely continue using them. Climbing the highest peaks of Bulgaria was challenging for us, but we didn't regret the efforts we made to achieve this task. The nature is still intact on many places, unlike the Alps, where you often walk under ski lifts, close to ski slopes, or behind crowds. The GPS tracks we got, meant to supplement the roadbook, were of great help. We mostly use them and checked the roadbook once daily just to be aware of potential alternatives and hints.

An action packed week, exploring the mountains and culture sites of Bulgaria. If you are looking for a leisurely paced holiday this tour is not a good option, as it literally keeps you busy all day long. But this was exactly the style of travel we were looking for and we enjoyed it a lot! We are already thinking to return and spend more time along the mountain trails only, as there are superb areas for hiking in Rila and Pirin. Highly recommended tour to those who cannot afford too much time and wish to see and explore as much as possible within 8 days.
