    Fly to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires (3 hours). Book morning flights to get the most out of your time at the falls. Start with the Brazilian side which gives you the best overall views. Get there early to avoid crowds and the hot afternoon sun. You'll need about 2-3 hours for the Brazilian circuit.

    Iguazu Falls & Bariloche

    See the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls by walking the upper, lower and Devil's Throat paths. Take the eco-train to save your energy since the walking paths add up to about 7km. Next stop is Bariloche, your entry point to the Lake District. Try to stay in the Llao Llao area for stunning mountain views.

    Bariloche Region

    Start with the morning Circuito Chico tour to get your bearings then take a boat to Victoria Island. The next day drive the Seven Lakes Route to San Martin de los Andes. It's about 3.5 hours each way so leave early before the mountain roads get busy.

    El Calafate & Los Glaciares

  • Days 1-2

    Ushuaia

    Your Antarctic adventure starts in the world's southernmost city. Stock up on cold-weather gear at the outdoor shops along San Martín street. It's smart to arrive a day early since flights often get delayed.     Southern Ocean

  • Days 18-19

    Falkland Islands

    Visit Stanley's British-style town and see gentoo and rockhopper penguins. The local people are friendly and helpful. Bring good windproof clothing as it's always breezy here. The walking is easier than in South Georgia.

  • Days 20-21

    Return to Ushuaia

    Final sailing through the Drake Passage. Pack carefully for your flight to Buenos Aires with its strict weight limits (15-23kg varies by airline). Schedule your departure flight after 10 AM on the last day.
