Budget Tours & Trips to Saudi Arabia
Curious about Saudi Arabia’s main cities? In Jeddah, the Corniche runs along the Red Sea, and King Fahd’s Fountain rises high above the water. The Tayyebat Museum and the old Al-Balad district reflect the city’s past. In Riyadh, the National Museum and the Murrabba Palace focus on the country’s more recent history. It’s a look at both coastal and desert capitals.

Budget Tours & Trips to Saudi Arabia Reviews
- Saudi Arabia: The Complete - Escorted Tour in 3 or 4* Hotels
We had a wonderful multi-day tour of Saudi Arabia, starting in Riyadh and ending in Jeddah. We saw some amazing sights including the modern Kingdom Tower in Riyadh, the ancient tombs of Hegra, the petroglyphs of Jubbah, the stunning Islamic sights of Madinah, and the Corniche, Old Town and souks of Jeddah. Our guide Rahim was exceptional and was able to manage our international group of 7 guests from the US, France, Spain and Switzerland in both English and French. He was a great host and guide throughout our tour. I deducted one star because there were some hiccups with the itinerary before the tour started, the bus we used was old and cramped, and a train between Madinah and Jeddah (1.5 hours) would have been much more comfortable and convenient than the long drive we took (almost 6 hours).
- Saudi Arabia: Dreams Of Saudi Arabia - Escorted Tour in 3* Hotels
Places we visited were very good, particularly Al Ula and Jinnah. The city tours were comprehensive and well guided. The mosques of Medina were great to see, however it was a pity that the guides told us that you are not allowed to enter mosques in Saudi Arabia. We were later informed this was not accurate, and we then visited two mosques in Jeddah. This should be clarified, to improve the trip. The train ride from Riyadh to Hail was comfortable and effective. I would suggest that the fast train from Medina to Jeddah should also be utilized, to avoid the long and boring car ride. A great experience overall.
