The tour itself is planned and structured so well to pack in as much of Vietnam as possible without it seeming to overwhelming with plenty of free time to chill and get to know everyone. I’m certain our experience would not have been what it was without our guide Hannah. Her passion, knowledge and general ability to welcome you as a friend was so inviting and made the whole trip so relaxed. Thankyou so much to Hannah and Intro for making this trip the highlight of our gap year and a fortnight we are unlikely to ever forget.

After stepping out into Hanoi I wasn't sure how this trip was going to go with the extremely busy atmosphere. However after meeting the group and our amazing group leader Hannah, she reassured us to just go with it. Don't ask too many questions and just enjoy it. She spoke with such passion about Vietnam, that you couldn't help but fall in love with the country too. Vietnam Intro is something I'll never forget, it's an amazing experience so thank you. But more importantly, thank you to Hannah for making this experience a once in a lifetime trip due to her kindness, passion for the country, the constant laughter (both good and bad jokes ;)) and just being there for everyone overall!! She's a real asset to the Intro Travel team!

It helped having Hannah as a tour guide, she was caring, fun to be with, positive and constantly happy. I’ve made friends for life through this tour, and I thank Intro for that!

However this trip was different, luckily in a really good way. The reason why this trip has completely exceeded my expectations has been down to our group leader, Hannah.
She continually went above and beyond throughout the trip to make sure we all had the most inclusive, enjoyable and safe experience. Hannah spent hours putting together an award ceremony for us all, she continually made sure we all had incredibly photos to share back home and her attention to detail with food allergies has been incredible. This was my first trip being a celiac and she took all of the stress off my shoulders.
Intro Travel should be extremely proud to have Hannah representing the company. She genuinely cares about people’s experience in Vietnam and her infectious optimism makes this trip what is it.

Ninh Binh is stunning and the homestay has a fantastic view. The Mekong Delta is also a homestay with amazing meals and home to my absolutely favorite activity, cat fishing. I am so grateful for my tour guide Hannah who truly enhanced the experience with her knowledge of the country, endless fun facts, her kind heart and seemingly endless energy. If you end up with Hannah you will undoubtably have truly wonderful experience seeing the many delights that Vietnam has to offer.

I originally booked this tour through intro travel 2 years ago but unfortunate circumstances made me change my plans. However intro travel let me open date my ticket so that I could go on this amazing adventure when I was able, which was such a huge help.
The trip itself was truly unforgettable, once in a life time adventure and quite possibly the best experience I have ever had. It was so well planned and the activities we did from kayaking through Halong Bay to staying at a beautiful homestay in Ninh Binh to name a few where fantastic to say the least. These brilliant places and activities were made so much better by our magnificent group leader Hannah! Her knowledge about Vietnam and positive attitude to the group made the whole tour unique and so special. She will do anything and everything to make sure you have the best time possible even after the tour unfortunately comes to an end she doesn’t stop there. Hannah will make sure that your onward travels are all in place which was a huge help.
It gives me huge pleasure to write this review as Hannah has been nothing be exceptional. She is uniquely brilliant and such a genuine person which I’ve had an amazing time getting to know. I wish her all the best and I know that no matter what she’ll apply herself to ahe will always make it so much more special.
With my situation traveling on my own is a very daunting thing however being in a group like this with amazing people from all around the world made me feel anything but alone. I feel like I’ve got to experience everything Vietnam has to offer and more and I’ve done it with such a good group of who I now call life long friends.
In summery, Intro Travel is an amazing company which focuses on making you have utterly unique and spectacular experience. Which is made so much better with how well they choose their leaders who are in my opinion one of the best types of people you can ever have the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for everything!!

What really made the trip even more special was our group leader Hannah who was just outstanding! She is super knowledgable and passionate about Vietnam, gives the best food recommendations and always makes sure you are having the best time! She is also very kind, caring and is ALWAYS super positive about everything. Not once did I see her without a smile on her face. My personal highlights were the stay in Halong Bay with especially Freedom Island and the homestays in Ninh Binh and close to the Mekong Delta. I loved the stunning nature and the amazing accomodations. Besides that, was Hoi An my favorite city center.
A really important element of the tour is your guide. I feel blessed to have had Hannah as my tour guide. She adds a personal touch to the tour, sees people and you can always count on her. Introtravel can call themselves lucky with employees like that.
The biggest advantages from Introtravel in general are their excellent level of communication before the tour starts, their onward travel help during your tour and the way they satisfy all kind of travellers their needs.

Whether you enjoy cocktails on a rooftop bar, cruising through Ha Long Bay or getting down in the mud catching fish with you bare hands, this tour has something for you. The accomadations were much more than I expected and i loved the homestay bungalows! The transportation in between places was smooth and well organized. My personal highlights were cruising/kayaking through Ha Long Bay, the entire homestay experience in the Mekong Delta, and the Cu Chi Tunnels. I also had a fantastic guide that helped to make the trip more speicial. Hannah was awesome! She waited for over an hour at the airport to collect me while I waited for my visa. She welcomed me with arms wide open and was so friendly that I knew right away it was going to be a great trip. Hannah was always there to help with food recommendations, carrying bags, and all the little things that help make a trip less stressful and more memorable. She made sure to include everyone on the tour and was always snapping photos for us. Her love for Vietnam and her excitement to share it with others truly makes for a great experience. I would definitely recommend this tour!

I am blown away by this tour and the amazing Hannah. She’s one of a kind and knows how to entertain people and make every single person feel special. Everyone has oodles of respect for her and her energy is what drives you to get up after a night out in Hanoi for the day ahead or cheer u up if you’re feeling low. My favourite moments what a tricky question? There are so many! Catfishing in the Mekong and rolling around in the mud, have a cooking class while the rain was pouring down, having a rickshaw tour around Hanoi, designing your own clothes and having them tailor made for you, learning to speak some Vietnamese with some beautiful and smiley local people, watching a fire show after dark, cycling along paddy fields with the sunset in your eyes and a breeze in your hair, rescuing Jack after a mysteriously long voyage in a canoe in the glorious Ha Long Bay and sleeping under the stars on Freedom island- our own private island! I will forever treasure my time here and the beautiful people that I have met on my journey. Thank you so much Vietnam Intro and Hannah!

This tour and something for everyone, wether you like breath taking scenary or like to party you are guaranteed to have a brilliant time with the wonderful Hannah. Dont bother booking the 9 day...just go straight for the 12 days....you'll end up staying anyway
I have been on many intro tours and loved them all! Especially this one, Hannah was a wonderful guide who is very knowledgeable and always positive! The tour exceeded my expectations in so many ways, the accommodations were all outstanding and the trip was full of surprises. I have so many highlights but a particular for me was spending a few days in the stunning surroundings of Ha Long Bay and arriving by boat to the private Island for a day. Spending a few days in Ninh Binh was also amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour leader with Hannah who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Vietnam which added so much to the trip. She had so much energy 24/7 and brought out the best in all of our group and became a great friend to all of us. Thanks so much Hannah for making my time in Vietnam so amazing!! If you are thinking about booking on to this trip, go for it, you will not regret it.

I honestly cannot put into words what this tour has done for me; it has shown me there is so much more to life outside of England and this has led to me wanting to go and do a whole lot more leading m…I honestly cannot put into words what this tour has done for me; it has shown me there is so much more to life outside of England and this has led to me wanting to go and do a whole lot more leading me to booking for Bali next year.
The itinerary I feel showed me a huge variety of Vietnam and gave me a chance to explore and grasp the struggles the Vietnamese faced during the War. It is hugely interesting and I would recommend it to anyone hesitant in beginning a tour in a country; it has given me a new level of confidence in going into other countries and hopefully one day enable me to competent enough to solo travel.
None of this would have been possible without Hannah Kern. She is a very passionate and engaging speaker who showed vast knowledge of different aspects of the tour, I feel I have been incredibly lucky to have had her around to support us and answer any questions we had. There were a couple of difficult moments throughout the tour with a non-cooperating member but I felt it was handled very well and I feel that any other tour guide may have not tolerated the situation as well.
I would, again as already mentioned, 100% recommend this tour as it has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I'm incredibly sad it has to end, I wish Hannah all the best as she really made the tour one to remember and gave it a very personal touch.

I especially loved how she managed to get everyone involved with things like the beach olympics on the island it helped people bond and was enjoyable. I felt that at any point in the tour if I needed any help I could approach Hannah and would always be able to sort any queries. Overall I would highly recommend going on this trip and in the future returning to Vietnam to do a tour again with friends and be lucky enough to have Hannah as a leader.

Thank you to our tour guide, Hannah, who went out of her way to help us with any problem we had - whether small or big. She had great food recommendations and was very knowledgable on Vietnam and it’s culture. It was also great how she bought together the very different personalities within the group. The accommodation at the home stays also far exceeded expectations.

My highlights were Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, banh mi in Hoi An, the cooking class and the 2 homestays.
Hannah was approachable and extremely friendly. She kept us entertained and got the whole group involved where ever possible. One feedback, I believe we needed a group WhatsApp as some communication had to be passed and at times there was some uncertainty.
For the itinerary, I personally didn't enjoy it as much from Ho Chi Minh. The accommodation was extremely difficult to find and the Google Map location was incorrect. Security was also an issue there where we couldn't lock the door and bags being left unattended. The overnight train also had some issues with comfort and cleanliness.
This was my first tour and I've had a truly memorable time with the group, making new friends who I hope to keep in contact with. It has left a great impression for me. I also managed to speak to the leaders and members of the other types of tours if I was to book anymore in the future.

The experience has been eye opening and incredible and I will cherish all the moments and memories I have experienced here. No tour is complete without a guide, and our fabulous Hannah really put the cherry on the cake.
Hannah was so knowledgable, so passionate and so personable. I was slightly apprehensive coming to the tour but Hannah made everyone feel at ease and was key is getting everyone together. Her passion for Vietnam was infectious as was her joy for life and enthusiasm in everything we did. Hannah was fantastic in ensuring to make everyone feel included and even went out of her way to make a birthday for an individual on the tour extra special through her thoughtful nature. Nothing was an issue for Hannah and she was so calm and patient in dealing with all situations. Hannah had great food recommendations and her beach olympics and quizzes on journeys were so fun and got everyone involved! Everything was so well organised and structured and it is evident Hannah puts her heart and soul into ensuring everyone has the best experience (which I certainly did!). Hannah made my experience and I feel so lucky to have been in her tour and having met such a kind, open and warm-hearted individual. I will miss you Hannah! Never change!!

We had some really good experiences in each place we went and each place was unique and special in its own way. We did cities which were great to see and to learn about history, as well as the gorgeous Ha Long Bay and beaches. We also spent lots of time with Vietnamese families which meant we got a real authentic feel of Vietnam. Hannah had energy from start to finish and I honestly do not know how she managed to stay so happy throughout. She came with us on all nights out and was so much fun in the evening as well as being friendly all day. Vietnam is definitely one of the best places I have been to it is SO varied and special in so many ways, I highly recommend coming.

Wow, wow, wow. Vietnam Intro was an INCREDIBLE tour and I am still on such a high from it. My group leader, Hannah, was an absolute superstar and I am so lucky she was my leader. She went above and beyond to make this trip what it was. I was so impressed with her knowledge of the country, her genuine passion for the trip shone through and her energy and positivity bounced off on the rest of the group. There was never a dull moment! For me each day of the tour was better than the last with the cooking class and crab fishing in Hoi An being my highlight. I wouldn’t have wanted anything to be different - the only thing I would change is that I wish I could have done the 12 day tour instead of the 9 as I didn’t want it to end! I can not wait to go on another tour with Intro Travel.

The tour takes you south through Vietnam doing things you just wouldn't be able to do entirely on your own. Reccomendations of what to do, look at and a guide to help you understand the local culture.
This is my third Intro trip and the thing you get out of this more than anything is an amazing bunch of friends some of which will be around long after the trip ends. If you're thinking about booking the trip, stop thinking because there are few better ways I know of spending your money!
Our group leader was Hannah Kern and she made sure we were all looked after and everyone was happy. She was amazing and made our trip. She was ill one days but still managed to keep herself together in 37 degree heat on a bike ride an hike. Fair play to her!

The tour itself is phenomenal. Every place that was visited was beautiful in its own right with a great variety of rural and city based locations to fully grasp the Vietnamese culture. It provides a huge range of activities across the 12 days that suit all. With my 2 highlights being the bare handed catfish fishing in the Mekong and the bike ride through Ninh Binh which was absolutely breathtaking. The whole tour was executed perfectly, this was made possible by the amazing Hannah.
As a tour guide she has been truly fabulous. Her knowledge of Vietnam is outstanding and her passion for life is contagious. Her food recommendations were the icing on the cake for me, every recommendation was spot on which encouraged me to try new foods that I never would have without her amazing suggestions (both meat and veggie options). Hannah is incredible, whether you need a professional photographer, a deep conversation, knowledge, help with further travel ideas, a tea or coconut buddy, or even just a joyful face she is the woman for the job!
Overall, the tour has inspired me to go out and travel the world further as there is so much to see and do. In my eyes it is a 10/10 tour which was beautifully created with a lot of thought put into the locations and how you could get the most out of your 12 days in Vietnam.

Everything from the food, activities, accommodation and my guide was just outstanding.
Whilst on the subject of the guide, Hannah was a true highlight of my tour. She helped us all to face irrational fears we may have had, organised onward travel itineraries and a huge brownie point for at each restaurant she gave us all her food recommendations and I fully trusted her every day (and I recommend you too do this) as she did not let me down once! I still can’t stop dreaming of the Bun Cha she initially told us to try. She was also very kind and helpful but really began to feel more like my sister as well as my guide. If you get her on your tour you’ll be very lucky!

Hannah was very knowledgable in every place and the local guides that are also used are so lovely, interesting and knowledgable themselves.
This is one of very few tours that offers two nights in Halong Bay and I cannot stress just how amazing this natural wonder of the world is. I wasn’t ready to leave after two nights let alone one. The private island you stay on in Halong Bay has a beautiful feeling to it and offers a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The boat on Halong Bay is ophenomenal, very luxurious but I won’t give too much away so the surprise is not ruined.
Ninh Bình was also extremely beautiful and the homestay is remarkable. You then get to experience an overnight train which I absolutely adored as I slept very well and also felt a bit like I was on the hogwarts or polar express.
From here you arrive in Hoi An which you quickly understand why it’s gained it’s name as the lantern city and is absolutely gorgeous everywhere. The tailor made clothes are outstanding and I fully recommend buying at least one outfit here as the value for money and quality are brilliant.
You then fly to Ho Chi Min City which is very different from everywhere else but very interesting - recommend you go to the museum as this gives a great insight into the Vietnam war. You also get to experience a night and day in the Mekong Delta which was a true highlight for me. You have the opportunity to catch a catfish with your bare hands and with the help of Hannah’s guidance this was certainly one of my favourite parts of the tour - you won’t stop laughing.

I have had the best 12 days ever! I firstly have to mention my tour guide Hannah. I have never had a tour guide be so passionate about the country they tour around nor have I met a tour guide know so …I have had the best 12 days ever! I firstly have to mention my tour guide Hannah. I have never had a tour guide be so passionate about the country they tour around nor have I met a tour guide know so much about that foreign place and have such great knowledge of the area (very helpful when asking questions). As well as being helpful Hannah is so much fun, She gets involved with everything from talking to the locals as well as having her DMC’s with her groups. I felt super comfortable having Her as my guide in Vietnam. If you are lucky enough to get Hannah as your guide Her food recommendations are insane!!! I would live by them let alone herself.
The Transportation was punctual and comfortable(aircon in everything), accommodation has 100% been better than I expected, very lovely and clean hotels/hostels, even the Home stays are stunning (especially Ninh Binh). The itinerary has been perfect, there has been so much to do yet also enough time to relax if wanted. I loved it so much Ive choose to do Bali Intro

Our tour leader Hannah was an absolute peach and you can tell she puts her all into making sure you have the best experience possible no matter your background, travel experience, age, or limitations. I'm a strict vegetarian, and I had some reservations about finding suitable options, but Hannah quickly quelled those concerns and had recommendations for every restaurant we went to. Each meal was better than the one before it, all super yum. Hannah even ran a previous tour as a "veggie foodie" to make sure she understood the perspective fully.
Accommodations ranged from secure AC hostels, AC hotels, countryside open air family-owned homestays with gorgeous landscape views, to luxury cruiseship cabins.
I def recommend the 12 day over the 9 day tour. It offers a grand way to sample Vietnam North to South. Book this tour...just do it...you won't regret it :)

We had a small group of 9 people, most were solo travellers so we got to know each other very well throughout the tour. Our tour guide Hannah was fantastic, and really added to the whole experience. She was full of random facts and gave excellent food recommendations. Unfortunately our Freedom Island trip was cancelled due to weather. Hannah was very good it giving an alternative schedule and planning a lovely day for us. My favourite parts of the tour was the Halon Bay boat stay and the bicycle ride in Nimh Binh. I would 100% recommended the trip to others and will be booking another intro trip very soon!

This trip has been been one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time in Vietnam, from the lively and bustling streets of Hanoi to the enchanting, lantern lit town of Hoi An. The stunning beauty of places like Halong Bay, Freedom Island and Ninh Binh often left me without words. The same can be said of the people of Vietnam who have shown a level of compassion and humanity unlike anywhere else I’ve been.
Trip Highlights
My favourite part of trip was the Mekong homestay where we cycled around the local area, caught and ate catfish and tried a variety of locally grown produce.
This is just one of many experiences I could have chosen from which include kayaking in Halong Bay, exploring the beautiful Hoi An, and learning about some the history of Vietnam at the Cu Chi tunnels and the list goes on.
Accommodation
Overall I was happy with the standard of the accommodation. We stayed in hostels, hotels, a luxury boat and an overnight train and although some of the places we stayed were nicer than others, all were of a decent standard.
Food
The food was also really good. Breakfast was included in the tour and so were some of our lunches. We only had to pay for our dinner where we often got substantial meals for no more than 100,000vnd (£3). We were able to try a variety of restaurants and had some outstanding meals for the same price as a Tesco meal deal. I would also recommend brushing up your chopsticks skills unless you want to be that one westerner asking for a fork at every restaurant.
Tour group
I am grateful to have met the people in my group with whom I’ve been able to share these experiences. They made this trip even more memorable and I was able to build some really good relationships.
Our group leader Hannah was amazing and was a huge factor in making this such an great trip. Her dedication and genuine passion for her work was plain to see. She personally collected me from the airport upon my arrival and from then on, she went above and beyond to put us all at ease and make the trip run smoothly.
Conclusion
I was surprised by how genuinely saddened I was when the trip came to end and only wish it was longer. I would highly recommend this tour - it was an incredible experience that I will never forget. This was my first trip of this kind but it certainly won’t be my last.

Hannah was always on time for dinner and meeting times and was still patient with members of the group who were persistently late. Hannah's food recommendations were certainly on point. Hannnah was also always very enthusiastic when telling us bits of information about this beautiful country.
My experience in Vietnam has been great, I've really enjoyed my trip here and would definitely recommend it to friends back home and would also recommend if possible having hannah as their tour guide too. I couldn't pick a favourite moment of the tour because I've enjoyed it all so much but the Ha Long Cruise and Freedom islands was certainly up there with some of the best views I've ever seen!
Also the sky bar in Ho Chi Minh was wonderful.
My only fault of the tour would be that I feel like there should be a longer version to spend more time in places and maybe go to Phu Quoc on those extra days

I came to Vietnam expecting gorgeous landscapes and got more than I bargained for. Every moment was stunning, every meal was delicious and every single person was amazing.
From travellers to locals, I am proud to say that I have found true friends. But the one person who made this trip truly special was Hannah, our wonderful tour guide. Never have I met anyone with such passion for a country and all of the people in it. Hannah is one of the rare people who will never fail to go out of her way to help everyone.
Throughout the trip she has been a constant source of happiness, combining the daily fun facts, endless jokes, the best food recommendations and personal engagement you’d expect from someone you’d known for years. She brings out the best in each and every one of us and inspires everyone to do the things they never would have done.
One of my most cherished moments from this trip was having a wacky tea party with Mr Hi in the garden of Eden, then proceeding to have a mass mud fight in a murky stream (and watching the most glamorous member of our family chasing her boyfriend down the road waving a catfish at him).
Without Hannah, none of this would have been possible and I really couldn’t speak more highly of her. If you want a once in a lifetime experience then you simply have to do the IntroTravel 12 day Vietnam tour with Hannah. I assure you it will be the best thing you do.

I want to say a massive thank you to Hannah who was the most amazing leader/ mum/ new best friend. She was always filled with energy, rubbish jokes and had time for everyone. Hannah's loveable and hilarious personality was a pleasure to to be around. Her genuine love for Vietnam was immediately clear and her enthusiasm to share her favourite places and food with an individual twist is what all made us feel so at home.
My favourite part of the tour was Ninh Binh/ the Mekong Delta, because the days were jam packed with things to do. They were also the days that were most unique and I probably wouldn't have experienced them in the same way if traveling alone.
I also want to appreciate the amazing locals we met along the way and say thank you to everyone for welcoming us with such open arms.
By reading the itinerary before arriving in Hanoi I could see the trip was guaranteed to be a success, but Hannah was what made it special. ( Also love how she loves tea as much as me)

The accommodation was a lot better than I expected it to be, and the transport was comfy. Overall I think the tour is great value for money. My highlights were kayaking on the private island stay, Hoi An and Ninh Binh which was incredible. At night there was the opportunity to have a crazy nights out, but also chill out if you wanted to. If you’re like me and you don’t like planning very much, the trip is ideal because it’s very well organised and you can learn loads about Vietnam and it’s culture as you go along. Hannah was our tour leader and she really made the experience extra special. Hannah took the time to get to know everyone on the tour, and there were many DMC’s which brought the whole team together. It felt like we just travelling with a very knowledgable friend. Couldn’t recommend the trip more!!

Amazing 12 days in Vietnam! Halong Bay was stunning and relaxing on Freedom Island was perfect after the busy atmosphere in Hanoi, and the old town of Hoi An was beautiful. Highlights would have to be Ninh Binh for biking around the rice paddies and amazing scenery from a hilltop viewpoint. I’d also highly recommend doing the 12 days to include Mekong Delta as well. Our group leader Hannah was great, giving us tips and recommendations along the way and really made an effort to get to know everyone in the group. Overall, an amazing trip and just wish I had longer in Vietnam!

Elbow deep in my trying to grab catfish was great fun!. Out tour guide Hannah was excellent she whas chilled and friendly from the begining but also very informative and gave usefully information from place to place , including local culture facts , general helpfully tips about each location and also meal and resteraunt recommendations, it was like traveling with a friend that already knows everything. Overall I would rate Vietnam intro highly and would recommend to those who are looking for a buisy jam packed tour.

From the moment she picked us up at the airport her kind nature and great banter was apparent which set the tone for the entire trip. As the tour progressed it became apparent Hannah has embraced the local culture as she was able to share her knowledge of Vietnam, local customs and food recommendations to the group. Anyone who is fortunate enough to get Hannah as their guide will have an amazing time.
As for the trip, there is a lot of travel involved as you make your way down the country. You get to use a variety of different methods such as boats, coaches and trains, all of which added to the experience. The accommodation was always clean and conveniently positioned with the local hosts being friendly towards the group. The Nimh Binh accommodation is stunning and was a highlight of the tour.
There are plenty of activities included in the trip, many of which I probably wouldn’t have ever thought about trying if it weren’t for this trip. Things such as crab fishing, cooking classes, bikes rides and catfish fishing mean you are kept busy but are broken up with a few more relaxed days to recover from the nights out.
Overall, I had a great time in Vietnam and would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to visit Vietnam.

Our tour guide Hannah was upbeat from start to finish and was great getting everyone mingling together and involved. My favourite place was Hoi An, I could have easily stayed a few days here and spent alot more money on the tailor made Clothes.
Freedom Island & ha long bay were absolutely gorgeous and had the weather been nice we would have had a slightly different experience and this would have been my highlight of the tour. I’d definitely recommend If you have more options throughout the year to plan your visit when it’s not freezing in the north so you can really make the most of that part.
I think this tour is ideal to give you an overall taster of Vietnam, I would love to come back and spend more time here now as it really is an incredible place ❤️

Hannah was amazing with her knowledge of local histories and culture and shes so easy to talk to.
I spent the first 6 days of the tour without my luggage but everyone was so nice, offering to share clothes and toiletries to help my get by, special shout to Hannah who sorted out getting my bag back to me and regularly give me updated of the progress.
My favourite part of the tour had to be climbing the lying Dragon mountain and Hoi an, all the laterns visually breathtaking.
What I love about this tour is that you get to see the real Vietnam away from all the tourists and spend time with local families and get the see their way of life.

All accommodation is clean, towels provided, WiFi and very central in the big city’s.
I felt more free time is needed in some of the city’s (maybe a free evening one night) as everyday a evening meal is arranged for you.
However the tour tour is jam packed with activities, Ha Long Bay would of been slightly more enjoyable if it was warmer (take warm clothes if going in the winter)
The experience covered a lot of different places in Vietnam which i wouldn’t of found alone. Guide Hannah was very good with arranging onward travel, giving information on other intro travel experiences, and knew the local culture In Vietnam.
All in all would recommend if nervous about travelling alone, and always want to be busy every day, however defo reccomend having a few days to yourself at the end of the tour to chill out.

One of my favorite days on the tour was nim binh, it’s an active day, full of activities and incredible views. But like any trip, the tour leader really sets the tone for the group as a whole, as well as the program... hannah kern rocks. From the second you meet her in the airport, she’s an immediate friend. Not only does she have so much experience and wisdom to share but she’s the biggest foodie i know and will never lead you astray. This trip would definitely not have been the same without her and I wont book any other future journey without consulting her first. You’re lucky if you get to share a trip with Hannah- she’s one in a million.

Every day was magical but my favourite experience has to be Ninh Bình - somewhere I would have never thought to travel on my own. Accommodation was all great and in some places was far better than I could have dreamed (again, Ninh Binh!) and we were also incredibly lucky to have Hannah as our tour guide. Hannah is enthusiastic, kind, patient, and anyone would think she’s lived in Vietnam for years with the amount of knowledge and connections she has! The overnight boat in Ha Long Bay was perfection and the view was astonishing. Anywhere you looked you were surrounded by surreal mountains sticking up from the calm ocean. The overnight train rocked you gently to sleep and when you woke up you arrived in Hoi An wich is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to. The Mekong Delta was wonderful and the Cu Chi Tunnels is somthing I'll never forget. I have to give a HUGE shout out to out tour guide Hannah! She was amazing both as a guide and as a person. She had so much knowlege about every place we we went to and you could also talk to her about anything and everything. She gave insights into the history of Vietnam aswell as the daily life of the people who live there today. She also had amazing food recommendations at every restaurant, so of you're ever hesitant you'll end up with a meal to die for. The included activities were fantastic and the tour was so much more affordable than doing it by yourself as you had unforgettable experiences that you couldn’t have been booked without the knowledge of a guide.
My favourite place had to be Hoi An and Hannah’s walking tour in Hanoi was fantastic as we got to learn some history but also got involved with the local culture by trying different exotic fruits and egg coffee (you have to try it before you judge it!)

Starting in Hanoi and gradually making our way down to Ho Chi Minh City by all sorts of transports (bus, boat, bike, train, plane etc) you get a great feel for the different areas and people. Hannah, our group leader, immediately made us feel welcome at the airport and was always full with energy and excitement throughout the trip which made it incredibly fun and interesting. There’s a great balance of seeing sites, eating delicious food, doing outdoor activities, and experiencing Vietnamese nightlife. The highlight of the trip for me was staying in Ninh Binh where we biked through the country side, went on a boat ride through the rice paddies and mountains, and ended the day hiking to the top of the Dragon Mountain Viewpoint, which was magnificent. Going for 12 days was definitely worth it as the Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi region are unique aspects of Vietnam. I came on this tour by myself and met wonderful people. Would love to do it all over again!

Hannah has a great relationship with the locals and I was very impressed with her knowledge of each place and tips of the best things to see/ do/ eat! However what made it particularly special for me was that Hannah took the time to get to know each person on the tour. She made us all feel so welcome and this created a really unique and special bond within the group which in turn led to me having the best time possible with the most laughs.

During our tour we had a few unplanned difficulties mainly due to weather, but that just added to the story of our adventure.
Our tour guide Hanna was very nice and friendly, she always made sure everyone is okay. The highlights of the trip were Halong Bay, Hanoi and Ninh Binh. At some point I found it difficult to keep up with such fast paced programme and I would have definitely added some "me"-time options for people, maybe instead of selected activities.
In general the tour was great and made me fall in love with Vietnam!

Hannah, our tour guide couldn’t have been better, she was the perfect fit for our group and made everyone feel welcome and involved. She was very knowledgeable about everywhere we went and was genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time! She has a great sense of humour, always had us laughing and also stayed out with us on nights out to make sure we were all ok when she probably should’ve been resting!

She set a great foundation for our group to bond and enjoy the experience holistically, without any extra stress. The accommodation was great! It was hygienic, the staff were lovely and attentive and the all the basics (including some meals) were provided - even the hostel felt like a hotel. The activities were super fun and really got everyone active and excited too. Overall, it was fab!

I honestly can't believe how much we've done in these 9 days...from kayaking in Halong Bay, touring the City of Hanoi to letting off lanterns in Hoi An, I can 100% recommend the trip in terms of variety of things to do! Unfortunately I couldn't stay to do the 12 day, but this part sounds just as good IF NOT BETTER! Our tour guide (or more like friend!) Hannah has been absolutely fabulous. The group felt instantly settled from the moment she each individually picked us up at the airport. Her positive energy and professional yet funny and friendly vibe has really made the tour unique - I couldn't wish for a better person to show me why she loves Vietnam so much. Her food recommendations have been on point EVERY TIME (no lie). Even though I don't classify myself as veggie I pretty much am, and Hannah has even been able to recommend some great vegetarian food as a result of her veggie pledge a few trips ago. She is fully dedicated to her job... and for all the right reasons... she is truly passionate about Vietnam, truly cares for each and every person in the trip and goes above and beyond for their needs AND I really hope to meet her and some of the great friends I've met on the trip very soon.
Vietnam is great. And the trip made it even better. Everything ran so smoothly (travel, accommodation, tours, activities) which made it all the more enjoyable/ stress-free. Couldn't recommend it anymore - AND REQUEST HANNAH IF YOU CAN!❤️

However, what really made it so special was Hannah’s knowledge, relationships with the locals and keen eye to make sure the group enjoyed each others’ company as much as the places we visited.

Our tour guide is Hannah Kern and she has been amazing from start to finish. Our flights were delayed so we missed the first day of the tour and Hannah was great - she rearranged our airport transfers and helped us sort out our travel insurance so we can claim back for the day we missed. I’d strongly recommend the tour to anyone!
