There were 4 guest that were English speaking. She said she knew a little and would try her best which she did try. There were many things we missed due to a language barrier. There is no way a 20 minute explanation compared to a 2 minute explanation is right. If you aren’t providing bilingual tour guides please don’t advertise as you do. The driver also broke my luggage.

This tour offered the perfect mix of guided activities and free time, allowing me to dive into the city's rich culture while also exploring at my own pace. The local guides were knowledgeable and friendly, bringing Barcelona’s history, architecture, and vibrant neighborhoods to life. Highlights included visiting iconic landmarks like the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, along with discovering charming hidden spots that only locals know about. The accommodations were comfortable and centrally located, making it easy to soak in the city’s energy both day and night. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience Barcelona in a truly immersive way!

Wished we could have just stayed with the same tour guide! Marina was so amazing and took such good care of us! She made sure we had equal English speaking time as Spanish. And gave us great directions and instructions when we went into a new city.

He totally forgot us 4 English speaking Customers. We had to beg and remind him constantly to give us info. When he did we got a very very watered down version. All the other Tour Guides were Great: Mohamed in Morocco and Felipe back in Spain. Alex actually put a Very bad taste in our mouths for Julia travel. The tour itself was Awesome and Most Amazing!

Would’ve been helpful to know that part of the tour was during Ramadan. We would’ve rescheduled. Lastly, did not appreciate the hard sell in selected stores only with no other options to look around and shop.
Everything was good but not enough English translation also I wasn’t to happy that the group was split in half making us feel left out
Wish you were more detailed in the package

In short, the trip was excellent. The main merit had the Riad guide - an encyclopaedia with great capacity to transmit information/communication, extremely polite but firm.
Also the local guides excellent.

The Tour I paid for was for 6 days and started in Barcelona. our real tour guide starting in Madrid was Yolanda! she was good at managing chaos of 3 different tours at times. the management of this tour was bad. why the 2 or 3 different hotels? it was a disjointed tour compared to others I have taken. Also, too much Spanish, which is of course expected with a spanish tour company! Also, the first city overnight stay for us in Madrid was horrible because after finding out in a chaos (again!) that we should stay at some other hotel (only us!) we were dropped off somewhere in Madrid by that guide & bus and told to go up somewhere and turn left, etc. and to sign in by ourself. then he left us all alone in a strange city to us, not knowing if that hotel would even have our reservations and hoping we would actually find it. this is incredibly dangerous and unacceptable!!! I could sue you for this!
Then we had to listen to endless Spanish chattering by surrounding people and guide in the bus. Also, the bus did not offer use of the bus toilet! This is also UNACCEPTABLE! Especially when I got sick by some bad food! Bus seats were way too tight for the legs!! The special sights and tours in different cities were beautiful and most city tour guides were great! But that is not much due to Julia´s management, except the guides.
I want to comment on the excellent tour guide Yolanda for being able to manage this chaos that is due to Julia´s company mismanagement. She always provided excellent repeated information as to where to meet and at what time. Unfortunately, the Spanish-speaking people of course were NEVER on time and made the rest of us wait sometimes up to 1+ hours! Again unacceptable! But not Yolanda´s fault! The only thing she did not do was show much caring when I was ill at the very last tour day. But that is human.
However, my result from this all is that I will NEVER AGAIN go on a tour with Julia Tour.
