I had been to Thailand before but this tour really let me see and experience the Thai culture and people in a way that I hadn't before. We were led by wonderful guides who were knowledgeable about the places we were going and eager to teach us what they knew. The trip was well organized with plenty of scheduled activities as well as down time to relax and explore on your own. A friend had recommended TruTravels to me as "the time of their life" and it did not disappoint! The trip has brought me life long memories and friends that I could never have had without the tour and its leaders.

He knows his stuff and knows what hes talkin about, hes always up for a laugh and if you had any worries or concerns you could go to him anytime! He made sure everyone was alright and as a bonus he understood my scottish language which was nice from bein so far away from home yourself! Thank you for making my time amazing lawrie!!

It completely exceeded my expectations. We went to places that I would have never gone to without the tour and met some amazing people who I travelled with when it finished. We went to Bangkok, Khao Sok, Koh Phangan. My only negative, is I would have liked to stay another night in a couple of places. Khao Sok and Bottle beach in Koh Phangan. My tour guides, Ewan Cromie Gibson and Lowrie Douglas were both Superb! It was like they were just one of us, except they knew all the cool places to go and sorted all the gritty stuff out, such as booking transport and finding nice places to eat etc.

Would recommend this trip to everyone.
I did the Thailand 8 day tour, only regret was not doing the 18 days. Really good selection and range of locations and amazing accommodation for the price of the tour. Really good selection and range of locations and amazing accommodation for the price of the tour. Koh soc and bottle beach in koh phangan were easily my favourite places in all of Thailand and probably wouldn't have found either without the tour. However, the tour was really made by the tour guides, lawrie and Ewan made it special. Both impossible not to get along with and make everything really easy and stress free, which for me was a pretty big deal being in Thailand for the first time. Lawrie had me cracking up the entire trip and I'd probably just book again to chill with them again - definitely would not be the same without them both. So if you're looking for a really exciting and upbeat way to see the best of southern Thailand and off the beaten track I wouldn't hesitate to book this tour.

As soon as I arrived i was greeted by Lawrie the rep at Bangkok airport who instantly made me feel welcome and had a good laugh with each other the entire tour. Ewin and yo were also very friendly throughout the tour, it was good to have a balance of a British rep and a Thai rep. I enjoyed the tour so much and the company of the people on it and the reps. I actually extended to the 18 day tour. Lawrie was very good in the sense he stayed with everyone and always made sure we stayed together as a group, it made the group atmosphere. I'd recommend tru travels to everyone after my experience. Made friends for life and now it's off to continue travelling with people that I met on the group!

I did the Thailand Entourage and it was one of the best things I've ever done, everyone I met was really nice and fun especially the tour guides Lawrie Douglas and Ryan Porter, they went above and bey…I did the Thailand Entourage and it was one of the best things I've ever done, everyone I met was really nice and fun especially the tour guides Lawrie Douglas and Ryan Porter, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was always having a good time and if you ever wanted to do somthing that wasn't on the tour they would arrange it for you. All together the tour guide really made my tour and I would advise anyone to book with tru travels.

Thailand was the best experience of my life hands down and I have Trutravels to thank for that. If you are thinking about taking this tour stop… just go, trust me. Trutravels was the perfect company to choose for a number of reasons, but most importantly was how they run their tours. Their style of guiding is what differentiates them from the rest in my opinion. It was very relaxed yet we hit every cool spot and completed every activity on the list. For a tour company its very hard to have leaders that understand the balance between telling the group what to do every second and missing out on important parts of the trip. I think this company has found leaders that know the sweet spot. We had ample free time after each activity and there was always something interactive and fun to do at the hostel or nearby. Echo hostel was definitely my favorite, and the place we spent the most time, it was always full of interesting people to meet and a super chill vibe. Thailand is an amazingly beautiful place and you will absolutely think you are in heaven. It has a chill tropical vibe and lush beaches. Safety was never a concern, the locals were so so so nice and there are almost always tourists around so you feel super comfortable. The food was downright amazing at every place we went to, hygienic and super affordable. My group was amazing, everyone was super nice had warm vibes and I really feel like I had the best time of my life with my new friends. We are still talking even to this day in our group chat :) planning future meet ups. 10/10 all around, no questions asked, this was the best decision of my life so don't wait.
Personal thank you to Ryan, Lawrie and Yo. you guys really, really took this trip to the next level. You are great great great leaders, with amazing personalities and I had no complaints whatsoever. I had a super fun time getting to know each of you and I can’t thank you enough for this journey. I would definitely recommend you.

We had Ryan as our tour guide and Lawrie in training. Lawrie was awesome and was there for us for anything we needed! On our free day he took us all out to the beach and then up the mountain to watch the sunset!! Definitely going to be an amazing tour guide on his own! All in all an amazing trip and can't wait for another tru travels tour!

So chilled out and fun but also completely reliable and trustworthy. Had an awesome trip and would do it all again.

Ryan & Lawrie were our tour leaders, both of them together was the perfect mixture of experience and fun!
When we got to Koh Phangan Ryan took a step back & it felt like Lawrie was in full control of the group! Whatever problem I had (homesick) he made me feel like it was normal, he felt like a friend but he also knew how to balance that out with being our rep perfectly, couldn't of asked for a better rep.
Also shout out to Dave, he wasn't our tour rep but when we lost our group for a night he took us right under his wing!

Loved the tour would recommend and even do it again myself. The tour itself had a bit of everything for everyone although I would have like to have stayed a tad bit longer in some places (koh sak) but overall great people on the tour with great guides with loads of advice and stories to share. Loved it. Thank you trutravels✌
