The week is filled with fun activities, some of which I would have never done on my own. Our tour leader Tom was amazing, really friendly and laid back, had so much information to give us and it was never too much trouble for him to help us out. He went out of his way to help us plan our trip after Ozintro as well and is genuinely such a down to earth guy. The week is planned really well you make good use of your time. Highlight for me was staying down on the bush bungalow in Ports Stevens, it is such a beautiful place with such a good vibe. Had an amazing week thank you Tom!

The food was to die for. The activities were so unique and gave us a really good feel for the culture: we took a Thai cooking class, met with rescued elephants, did a booze cruise around islands, boated through a national park for an overnight... it felt like we really experienced all Thailand has to offer. Best of all was our tour guide - jack was SO FUN and managed to make every single one of the 45 college kids on the trip feel completely at home in a foreign country. We all truly became friends.

We did a home stay for the afternoon and they made us feel completely at home, the food was excellent and the people were so friendly. We had an awesome group of people which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurants we were taken to had a variety of different foods which were exceptional. The hotels were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone of all ages.

It has truly been an eye opening experience into the Balinese culture and people. Tom has been an amazing tour leader, who is very energetic, and always gets the whole group involved in all activities. The highlight of my trip was staying in the private villa and spending the time chilling out and getting to know everybody on the tour. I have met friends for life here and it's all down to the tour and the fantastic leader Tom.

Loads of fun with a great group, our tour leader, Tom was a legend and was extremely helpful when it came to sorting out anything you needed.
Learning to surf, learning to dodge monkeys and learning all about the Balinese culture has been so much fun!

Before we started we were all put in contact on Facebook which made meeting everyone super easy. The accommodation is really good, no issues at all. All of the places we visited have been really well thought through and were a great experience.
Tom, our guide, was fantastic. Nothing was to much for him, always going above and beyond to help everyone out. He is a massive credit to your company.
All in all an amazing trip, made some friends for life and experiences I will never forget.

She went above and beyond by helping organise a cooking class for me on my final day at and warding off unwanted male attention in clubs when given the nod haha!
I would definitely recommend this trip to others and indeed have already been asked by many of my friends for details based on my Facebook posts! I will no doubt b back for the Vietnam next year.. hopefully the tour leader will be equally as amazing as Kerrie was!

Thouroughly enjoyed this trip - there was so much to do and I was never bored! I have made some lovely friends and Kerri and Tom have definitely made the trip more enjoyable with there enthusiasim and effecientcy. After having traveled a few times on my own in SE Asia, this was the 1st time I went on an organised group tour and Balintro was a great experience ! From beginning to the end you didn't need to worry…After having traveled a few times on my own in SE Asia, this was the 1st time I went on an organised group tour and Balintro was a great experience ! From beginning to the end you didn't need to worry about anything, our guides (Emma and Tom) had everything sorted out for us. Every day was packed with amazing activities while leaving some time to explore things on our own. One of the highlights definitely was swimming up close with a turtle on Gili Islands. The only drawback was the visit to the local family that didn't feel authentic at all. Accommodation was very basic (Kuta and Ubud) to very good (Canggu and Lovina). Special mention to our leader, Emma, who was such a lovely person. She was always there when needed, always made sure everyone was enjoying the trip and always spent time with us even after the "official" activities of the day were over. All in all an amazing experience I would do again in a heartbeat !

Villa accommodation, others were basic which was what you needed as you wouldn't be spending a lot of time in them. Overall an amazing trip!

A great way to experience bali in the short period of time we had. Tom ensured we all had a great time and kept everything fun. Fun filled 2 weeks with lots of sights seen and memories created.

Love the trip made so many friends! Loved seeing all the different animals in their natural habitat! Tom is super lovely and was there for me when I hurt my arm badley at 4am in the morning!!

I would definitely rate him 10/10 as he was very helpful and approachable at all times. My favourite accommodation was the villa however I would have liked more free time to enjoy it fully. Me and my boyfriend havejust finished our amazing trip with Bali Intro, we had debated travelling alone but in hindsight I am so glad we decided not to, there is no way we would have been able to fit …Me and my boyfriend havejust finished our amazing trip with Bali Intro, we had debated travelling alone but in hindsight I am so glad we decided not to, there is no way we would have been able to fit in this many activities and some would have been impossible such as the beautiful family visit. The tour however was still very flexible and allowed you to do your own things, although to be honest we got on with the group so well that we didn't want to! Our tour guide (Tom) fitted in with the group like a friend, extremely approachable, knowledgable about the island and went above and beyond his duty to accomadate for everyone.. not to mention hilarious! Overall the accommodation was higher than my expectations, clean and beautiful- infinity pools and wifi galore. I'm very grateful to Tom and the rest of the travellers for making the trip so memorable.. I will definitely be using Intro Travel again.. thank you!!

I totally recommend it and I am so happy I did it. The villa in Lovina is just stunning. It was a pleasure to have Tom as a groupleader he was always there for us, helping us with everything. Always in a good mood and pushing everyone to make the most of their times in Bali. He helped us as well organising the onward travelling which I was specially thankful for. Thanks a lot!

- Turtle snorkelling; majestic animals in their natural habitat, need I say more!
Tom, our group lead, was absolutely fantastic! Super attentitive and always making sure everyone was involved and having fun! He also offered a lot of options when we got free time which made the experience that much better! (Did the diving on Gili T and it was AWESOME!!) Thank you Tom, for your enthusiasm and laid back, fun, personality - you also get points for being Welsh ha!!

I loved the balance between relaxation and adventure! My highlights of the trip were definitely the snorkeling and learning to surf! Absolutely loved both! Only downside for me was the volcano trek - I do a lot of exercise and am quite fit but still found that without the correct gear (should have brought walking boots) this was a challenge in the dark.

The excursions were very well organised and planned , and were ones that everyone could enjoy , the people were friendly and ones that i will see and keep in touch with for many years to come.
......And last but not least TOM!!!! Our amazing guide , he made the experience all the more entertaining and wild. Tom has the perfect balance of life and soul of the party and someone who you could always had a laugh with.

Havving already done the ThaIntro (as a solo traveller) I came to the Bali intro with high expectations...and I can honsetly say they were smashed!! (in an awesome way!) From the nervous first day mee…Havving already done the ThaIntro (as a solo traveller) I came to the Bali intro with high expectations...and I can honsetly say they were smashed!! (in an awesome way!) From the nervous first day meeting a group of total strangers to the final day chilling by the pool with a huge group of new friends, BalIntro was an incredible experience. The Ubud add-on is the perfect way to detox from the crazy Gili T. Much to my delight turtles and sea activities are involved in this trip a lot! Our guide, Tom, was incredibly helpful when he needed to be, very chilled out when he didn't and made sure his advice was ALWAYS available. This said, he was fun for the whole trip and made a close connection with everyone in the group!
I cannot recommend Balintro more!

The only complaint I can make about Bali Intro is that it wasn't long enough! I loved every second of it and met some amazing people including our tour guide, Tom, who was such a laugh, we love him! My highlight would have to be snorkelling and scuba driving with turtles in Gili T. I would highly recommend this trip.

I remember reading reviews and thinking that they must have been comissioned to be that good but GENUINELY this tour was the best 12 days I have ever had and I don't ever think i'll laugh, smile and party so hard again :) I can't thank IntroTravel and Tom (the group leader) enough for all their hard work and commitment and I cannot wait for our next adventure with them! :)

I really enjoyed the trip because we got to meet new people and experience Bali in all its glory (ubud, Kuta, villa stay) and ofcourse Gili T which has its own unique charm..a cross of chilled surfer dude mixed with the idyllic paradise islands you think about when stuck in the office back home!
BUT the thing that made this tour complete was the fantastic Tom Hartrey who was always happy and made us feel at ease from beginning to end

Most activities were included and absolutely stunning. I loved Dolphin Hunting and Snorkelling around Gili! But by far my favourite was the homestay with a Balinese family! It was a really heartwarming experience that I would't have been able to experience if I had travelled on my own. Also the hotels were totally awesome!

All activities are included and it's great to have Tom and local tour guides available along the way. Tom really made the trip what it was - looking after everyone, making each activity enjoyable for everyone (even if you are struggling with an activity eg: snorkelling), every step of the itinerary was clear and well explained and he's just a top and approachable leader. Our guide, Tom, was super chill and made a conscious effort to make everyone feel involved and included. As someone that is usually a little less vocal in large groups, I appreciated it when he would come around to talk to everyone and ask how we're doing.
The activities were so fun and while I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to do more active things like surfing and paddle-boarding and walking straight into a waterfall, these new experiences made me realize just how much I've been missing out on.
Sometimes, it seemed long (with temples and farms and whatnot) but afterwards, I realized how valuable these experiences were - I learned things and saw things (and ate things) that I never would have experienced without the guidance and access of Balintro.
Overall, everyone in the group was very supportive and friendly, and this is definitely an experience that I would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Bali for the first time.

Intro travels handled it very professionally and arranged a hotel for us at Lombok at no extra cost. The group was super fun and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Bali intro to anyone who would like to go.Only warning is that food and drink can get a little expensive contrary to popular belief that Bali is cheap and I would like it if there were more lunches or dinners or breakfasts included within the cost if possible.

Instead, I have had a very detailed and personalised tour around Bali, learning so much from the locals and our tour guide Tom. The people I met are not just new friends, they are friends for life and I had no idea we would bond as well as we have. I believe this isn't just because of a good mix of personalities but through bonding games and discussions organised by Tom but also the activities organised in which we participated all together. The accommodation I was concerned about due to shared rooms and hostels however the outcome far outweighed the expectations and I am really pleased. The travel expenses were all paid for but what made it extra special was Tom organising everything and therefore not having to think of worry about anything and feeling well looked after. I have such an amazing holiday, Thankyou so much Tom, this guy is a keeper and deserves a pay rise! (He didn't pay me to write this...but i accept bribes)

Staying over night in floating bungalows, spending a morning with Elephants, exploring temples, eating scorpions and partying with the locals. Amazing locations, friends for life and the best tour guide ever!
