I did the 3 week tour of Thailand and was with Tommy & Fluke for the last week. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer & do entire trip with the Trufam! The southern part of Thailand was my fav…I did the 3 week tour of Thailand and was with Tommy & Fluke for the last week. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer & do entire trip with the Trufam! The southern part of Thailand was my favourite as the beaches were beautiful and we had more chill time in our itinerary to re cooperate. Tommy & Fluke were amazing and had a perfect balance between letting us get on with our own thing but also being approachable & fun to hang out with. Tommy had really great knowledge of the places we were at & was good at giving clear messages to the group to make sure everyone was on the same page. He also helped whenever we were in a tight spot, for example if we had a misunderstanding with a local. I think 3-4 weeks is a good length of time for this tour as it really gives you time to get the know the whole group & you’d be surprised how much you bond with them by the end of it. Fluke was especially helpful in an incident during the kho Tao pub crawl and stayed with us when getting in the ambulance and came to the hospital with us. I think I would have really struggled getting what I needed to say across the the nurses. They were both honestly so caring and will miss them so much! Tommy helped us all with our next steps and was super adaptive and flexible if something didn’t go to plan. Couldn’t have asked for better tour guides of the south!!

Now this has NOTHING to do with the tour leaders Tommy and Fluke. These guys deserve more than 10 stars for a review. Tommy is the epitome of a professional, punctual, knowledgeable tour guide. Not only does he know how to lead. He knows how to make everyone understand the material in a friendly manner like you have known each other for years. If you do get so lucky to get Tommy as a tour guide then you’ll feel like you’ve been a local this whole time. Now Fluke IS your best friend. From the start of the tour he made it a point and an effort to know you as a person. With speaking to him it felt like you were catching up with a best friend that you haven’t seen in a bit. His laugh is so contagious that you’ll be laughing non stop and making the best memories. His knowledge and practice of the English language makes it seem that Thai is his second language lol. But honestly the duos of these guys is the perfect concoction of the best way to end the 27 days of Thailand.

From touch down in Thailand they were ready and waiting for us to start our journey together. They started by giving us some tips & tricks that were extremely helpful for us first timers in Thailand - knowledge that we would never have found out and that ultimately saved us lots of time & money. They were always looking at ways for us to do activities in the easiest and cheapest way possible - something necessity when we were on a travelling budget. I particularly liked the fact that there was never any pressure from Tommy & Fluke to participate in any activities if we didn’t want to - they gave us lots of freedom and were really supportive and helpful when we decided to skip planned activities and do our own thing. We honestly would have been completely lost without them both. They were always 2 steps ahead of us and it enabled us to actually enjoy our holiday instead of stressing about the next destination / activity. I would 110% recommend both Tommy & Fluke. They completely took away all of our stress & worry and for that we will always be extremely grateful. We can’t wait to hopefully book on another tour with them both in the future. We were never left waiting and transport would always be there on time. Tommy was also great in terms of giving recommendations and organising us group dinners. Tommy was always happy to help anyone out and it was a pleasure to have him as our tour guide!! Fluke was always happy to help out and brought great energy to the trip. He always cheered me up when I was feeling down.

They made myself and my friend feel so welcome at the first hotel along with a message when we arrived at the airport which I really appreciated because that can sometimes be very stressful. Everyday, both Tommy and Fluke gave us so much information regarding what we were doing each day and were happy to answer any questions. They were always so happy to help me find and arrange places to leave my medication which made me feel so at ease and grateful. I can’t thank them enough for their help and support. They have both been absolutely amazing and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. They started off as strangers and ended feeling like family. Thank you Tommy and Fluke for the most memorable and unforgettable 2 weeks xxx

Tommy and Fluke amazing from the get go - as first time travellers me and my friend were very nervous/ apprehensive as to what we should expect. Both Tommy & Fluke greeted us with a very warm welcome at the first hotel which settled all of our nerves straight away! Throughout the whole tour both guides were extremely attentive and caring (which is just what you need when you are so far from home comforts!). Tommy and Fluke were keen to answer any questions the group had and ensured everyone was safe/ comfortable but more importantly happy! The tour was very well organised, Tommy kept us informed of a daily plan with every single detail we needed to know. The tour and all travel included was very smooth and we couldn’t have done it better. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Tommy & Fluke for making the tour as amazing as it was. We would recommend Tommy & Fluke for any future travel adventures!! ?

They also made me feel incredibly safe the entire time. They would tell us what places were good to eat and what areas were best to stay away from. They were also fantastic at communication. I consisted was told what was happening today, tomorrow and in the upcoming days so I always knew what was happening. They were consistently attentive and checked up on me to make sure all was ok. They were an absolute pleasure to be around and there is no one I would rather have take me around the amazing country of Thailand. I cannot recommend tommy and fluke more. You will not regret booking this trip.

I’ve truly had the most fantastic time and couldn’t recommend the tour enough. The entire time Tommy was fantastic at leading and organising our group. Both Arthur and Tommy aren’t tour guides, they become your friends that I will stay in contact with for when I return to Thailand. I felt safe and well looked after every single day. Everything you need they will help you organise, including transport after the tour ends. I’ve loved every second of this tour, I’m so sad to be leaving!!! Thank you Arthur and Tommy for looking after me and making my first solo trip so seamless. There is a huge range of activities - party life, temples, secret beaches and mountains and whilst it’s pretty fast pace there is plenty of free time to do whatever you want. If you’re thinking about doing it, honestly you will not regret it. Book the trip and become apart of the TruFamily!!!!

Only reason for the 4 stars is for some smaller things - not great accommodations, lots of awful driving experiences (if you have motion sickness, REALLY bad), the other people on the trip (very young crowd only interested in partying - not interested in the culture of Thailand). Our guide was outstanding. The activities themselves were amazing as well. If you get a good group, you’re sure to have an absolutely amazing time. Took me a few days to find likeminded people to hang out with, but once I found them, I had the time of my life.

It was advertise…Great tour guides. Beautiful country with rich culture and very friendly people. However, that trip is focused too much on parties. Some of the accommodations were below expectations. It was advertised by TourRadar as a no age limit tour. It was designed more for the 20-30 year old age group.
Tommy and Pui were great, we saw a lot of Thailand in a short space of time
This was a great experience especially for getting used to solo traveling. It is also nice to have local guides who can teach you about the culture and more.
