I always felt safe, which as a young woman traveling is so awesome, and each leg of the trip kept getting better and better. Our group leader, Sam M., was incredible and made my experience all the better. He really had the best interest of everyone in the group at heart and I’m so glad to be able to call him my friend now. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to take part in INTRO Thailand and I can’t wait for my next Intro adventure!!!

My favourite activities on this trip has to be the sardine run, there were so many ???? also the 3 day boat trip was really special, I enjoyed the togetherness of the islands in the evening sat around the campfire playing games. The group leader was amazing and really made this trip that extra bit better so I can’t thank him enough!

I loved everything, from the beach sunset to snorkeling with sea turtles and the 3-day boat trip with a funny crew that made the best food in their little boat kitchen. We unfortunately experienced a cancelled flight and during that time Sam was truly everything you want in a leader. I would not have know what to do if I were on my own, but the group could just sit back and relax while Sam handled everything and figured out the best options. He was sweet, funny and caring, making sure we were all okay and keeping an eye out for us when we went out at night. I could not have asked for a better tour leader and truly loved my time in the Philippines and with Sam and the group.

We were lucky enough to have Sam as our tour leader. He was very caring and helpful while being full of terrible dad jokes and always making us laugh, couldn’t have been any better:)

Such a beautiful country to explore with its crystal clear waters, white sand and such friendly culture. A highlight for me was the 3 days sailing from Coron to El nido. Cruising along with the sun shining, jaw dropping views, and new friends surrounding you was something I will never forget.
A huge thanks to our leader Sam Smith for taking care of us throughout, treating us like family and being dependable throughout. A fountain of knowledge when it comes to travel, and someone i know I can call on for advice in the future. Thanks again to the number 1 intro leader ❤️

I recently did the Philippines tour with Intro Travel and I can’t recommend it enough! The activities were great and the the tour as a whole was brilliantly planned out. I had Sam Smith as my tour lea…I recently did the Philippines tour with Intro Travel and I can’t recommend it enough! The activities were great and the the tour as a whole was brilliantly planned out. I had Sam Smith as my tour leader and he was excellent throughout. Not only was he great with the organisation, booking and travel side of things (of which there was a lot, so be warned! This tour requires a lot of travel and early starts), but he was also very easy to talk too and very kind. I have to mention as well that Sam did a brilliant job when a medical emergency occurred on our trip. He handled it with the perfect amount of care and professionalism and I think I can speak on behalf of my whole group, when I say that we were grateful for his quick response and support. The accommodation on the tour was very basic (especially compared to other intro tours, but overall it was clean and good). I can’t fault this tour at all and highly recommend it to anyone that’s considering it!

This was my second time in the Philippines and I loved it even more ❤️ IntroTravel is the best tour agency, at least the ones I’ve tried. It was a perfect mix between beach, swimming, taning, exploring and culture. The part of the tour that made me the most excited and that also really made the tour memorable, was the 3D 2N boat expedition. We stayed on the boat a whole day, while stopping for amazing snorkelspots, photoops and white sandy beaches. Also, we got so amazing food, the crew was amazing and the surroundings are unmatched. We slept at two different islands, one night in a traditional filipino hut and another in bigger huts with private rooms. It was an experience I will never forget and would also like to do again????
Our leader, sir Sam aka Sam Smith aka Samuel, was the best leader I’ve had. He was so attentive, including and caring, also he was really interested in getting to know us and where we come from. Some of us got sick during the trip and he really made sure we had everything we needed. It was also him who made the group dynamic so good, ‘cause he was always initiating group dinners and activities! A really good leader and would for sure recommend him, and IntroTravel!

Sam, our tour lead, was amazing and relieved any stress we had from 24hrs travelling almost immediately. He was kind and considerate with the entire group, going above and beyond to ensure everyones needs were met. He has great knowledge of the local area, and it was evident he has built good relationships with locals that join you throughout the tour which adds to the overall experience. Thank you to Sam for an unforgettable trip, it was amazing!

The three day boat trip was a highlight for me: the snorkeling spots and remote beaches were top notch, as was the food prepared by the crew. Our tour leader (Sam) was very knowledgeable and made sure everything went smoothly with regards to internal travel and organisation of the daytime activities. He also took us to some great restaurants and bars in the evenings to experience the local nightlife. All of the accommodation throughout the trip was great too. I'd highly recommend this tour.

What is unique about this company is that there are so so many unbelievably fun activities which are all included, with no extra fees along the way. With lovely accommodation and food too.

A highlight for me was the boat trip around Coron (which was an extra cost but worth it!) and the 3 day boat trip. The Philippines is possibly one of the prettiest places I’ve been too so far in south east Asia. Another highlight for me was pushing myself out of my comfort zone and doing the canyoneering!
Would also like to praise our tour leader Sam and say thank you for ensuring we all had a great time and for all the hard work behind the sense to make sure everything is all organised!
My only feedback would be that there was more free time than I expected and there could have been one or two more activities included in the tour
I had the best month ever, I’ve learnt so much about the different places I’ve been too and felt so happy with the group and leaders I was with, I can’t wait to travel more!
This November, I did my first tour to Vietnam with Introtravel. I had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it. The variety of places visited in Vietnam were incredible and gave a general overv…This November, I did my first tour to Vietnam with Introtravel. I had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it. The variety of places visited in Vietnam were incredible and gave a general overview of the country. It was great to see the contrast in areas and to learn the history from our leader Sam and other local guides.
There was also a nice mix of accommodation between hotels and homestays. Each with great facilities and the homestays were in amazing settings. The families that hosted us were lovely and friendly.
I enjoyed the huge variety of activities that were included in the tour. Some activities I wouldn’t usually do but with the encouragement and support of Sam and the group, I’m glad I took part and loved them all! My favourite day was the cycling, row boats and Dragon Mountain in Ninh Binh. It was a great experience. Another highlight was catfishing in the Mekong Delta as it isn’t something you would usually find as a solo traveller.
Sam was an excellent and knowledgeable leader. He was also conscious of peoples’ needs. He was friendly and approachable making everyone feel comfortable within the group. Sam gave great recommendations for things to do in our free time. He was encouraging and supportive of trying new things out of your comfort zone. Sam played a significant part in making this tour enjoyable especially when you’re tired from all the travelling! His humour and enthusiasm were infectious throughout the tour.
Ultimately, the introtravel tour to Vietnam exceeded all my expectations, and I will be doing another tour in the future.

Cambodia is a wonderful country with the kindest and warmhearted people. Ankor Wat is amazing and a must-visit, as well as Koh Rong to experience the ultimate tropical island vibes. The S21 prison and Killing fields were bizarre and emotional to visit and see with your own eyes.
I would absolutely recommend traveling with Intro Travel and Cambodia as destination. You will love it and make an unforgettably long life experience.

Wow. Where do I start, what an incredible Intro trip to Cambodia with even more amazing leaders, Sam and Char. I could not have asked for better leaders, we did not stop laughing, they both made sure …Wow. Where do I start, what an incredible Intro trip to Cambodia with even more amazing leaders, Sam and Char. I could not have asked for better leaders, we did not stop laughing, they both made sure the whole trip was completely stress free and the best experience possible. No question was too silly or request too inconvenient. Sam and Char are the kindest, most thoughtful and caring leaders (who give the best hugs) but also the most fun and wonderful people who I instantly became friends with. They made this the most special trip and one I will truly never forget, all thanks to them and all they did for each one of us.
The tour was planned seamlessly and has free time dotted throughout too. You get to see and do so much in 10 days and go to places you couldn’t do without the amazing Intro too. Intro also use amazing local guides, a special mention to Tola! And take us to social project cafes when possible which were the places were I had the best meals! The list of positives could go on!

Favourite activity has to be Angkor Wat sunrise and walking around all the temples. Most memorable moment is sunset at the cliff bar in Koh Rong Samloem!!
Our leaders were excellent- Sam and Charlie went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy ( we also had lots of dietary requirements as a group which wasn’t easy), it was so organised, no stress and everyone had so much fun! You’ll have the best time if you get one of these two!

It's really clear that Intro genuinely want to help you with your travels in any way that they can and they also prioritise ethical and sustainable travel wherever possible which is great. The tour itself was really well organised and ran super smoothly, and Sam always made sure we knew the plan and what to pack for each day. It was such a brilliant way to see so much of Cambodia in a short amount of time without any of the stress of having to organise it - and meeting the most amazing friends along the way was the best bonus! Thailand was an unforgettable experience for me. It was a perfect mix of fun, laughter and parties with chilled days and beautiful places. My highlights of Thailand would be the elephant sanctuary where we got to feed, bathe and swim with the elephants sorrounded by 4 leaf clovers! Our guide was Eliza who really made an effort to get to know everyone personally and felt like she really cared for us all and all our specific needs. She went out of her way to make sure we all felt included and supported and was a gem from start to finish.
Vietnam
Vietnam is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. The incredible scenery and the really friendly people made it somewhere I didn't want to leave. I still can't believe I have been to a place as beautiful as Ha Long Bay or got to wake up to the views of Ninh Binh. The tour has an absolute jam packed schedule and as such you haven't got much time to really take in everywhere you go, so I would use this as a jumping off point to go back to the places that stick in your memory. It makes a great start to a solo journey as you pick up friends and tips along the way. Our guide Dan really helped me work out what I needed in order for me to have the best experience of my future travels. He had great suggestions of where and how to travel, all while keeping us all safe and creating opportunities for a laugh and a dance.
Cambodia
Cambodia has been an amazing experience. This often overlooked country has so much beauty and history to offer. The tour starts off with a deep dive into the genocide which isn't for the faint hearted but is important to allow visitors to understand how far the people have come from harrowing events which are still in living memory. From then on the tour goes from gem to gem of sightseeing, cultural landmarks, pristine beaches and ending in the unbelievable Ankor Wat complex (watching the sun rise over this wonder of the world is something I will never forget). This tour is fast and busy but undeniably worthwhile. Our guide Sam was a flawless leader whose calm authority, cheerfulness and endless patience for questions and attention to detail made me feel safe and confident the entire time. He has been a brilliant help for me while planning the next leg of my adventure and has been a rock when my confidence has wobbled. Thank you Sam!

Incredible experience, great mix of nightlife and culture. The trip is quite intense in terms of activities and excursions which is great as it really allows you to see Cambodia in the short time you’re there, however there are opportunities for free time to sick back and relax by the beach or pool. It’s my third trip with Intro and would happily do another. Also a great way to start solo travel as it gets you comfortable and eases you in.
We had Sam Smith as a leader. Great leader, offered constant support but also got involved in the group which in my opinion is the perfect mix. Helped with onward travel plans towards the end of the trip to put my mind at ease and get me ready for some solo adventures.
Sam constantly offered options so no one felt pressured to do certain things, so would explain to the group the good bars on an evening but also mention the cultural things to do such as night markets etc for those who were looking for that side of things. It’s great to have confidence in the leader so massive shout out to Sam the trip wouldn’t have been the same without him

Last but not least the amazing man himself Sam who stayed with my trip through Vietnam and Cambodia, he created constant support and makes it such a nice experience. He will do the world for you and really is one of a kind person. These 2 leaders made my trip a one in a life time and created a lovely experience for me.

Not as many meals included in Thailand so I needed more spending money than anticipated but the experience was worth every penny. Really pleased with the itinerary. We had originally planned to do the two countries on our own, but figured out quite early in the planning that we wouldn’t be able to see and experience as much as we could with Intro. Probably the best thing about traveling with Intro is how relaxed, safe and taken care of you feel. They take care of all the planning and logistics, we just enjoy the ride. The group of people you straight away get to know as your new friends, makes the travel even more amazing. Getting to experience everything is so much more giving when you get to do it with a great group of people. The leaders, Sam and Morgan, became like our big brothers, always including everyone, making sure everyone had a good time.
Our most memorable experiences during the 21 days was Ha Long Bay, Paradise Island, Hoi An, Floating Village and Angkor temples. (Hard to choose a few)
We’ll recommend Intro to everyone we meet on our onward travels, and will definitely join them again.

Knowing that all aspects of your trip have been pre planned and covered throughout your stay gives you more time to enjoy what the trip has to offer!
Communication between our tour leader Sam and the group upon arrivals was brilliant, he accommodated to everyone’s arrival times and pick up point needs making sure we all got to the start point safely and easily.
Throughout the tour accommodation has exceeded expectation, being introduced to the locals during daytime activities Sam has made everybody feel comfortable, included everybody and helped build group report. I feel I’ve learned a lot in my time hear, never a moment of hesitation from Sam when explaining about the place and the people we’ve seen. With countless body checks to make sure everybody is where they need to be and on track.
During nights out if people have wanted to leave early he has always discussed with the rest of the group the plan before walking them back if needed, also for given alternative options for those who do drink in the evenings etc. Safe to say he has made everybody feel welcome and helped individuals to get the most out the tour!
As for the tour itself, the activities have been bloody awesome! Getting involved in making the local cuisine has definitely been a highlight, and I had never considered myself much of a cook!
The boat stay and freedom island were definitely up there, cycling around in the sticks shall we say amongst the local Vietnamese and animals was great fun!
I found the contrast between a night out in the city and the home stay retreats to be near perfect, and bar the 14 hour overnight train journey (which was always going to be a long haul) travel between destinations hasn’t been too bad, no delays on departure and arrivals and information for what you will need on each day was always addressed early on in case queries were to be made.
The catering was very impressive, having a few veggies and a pescatarian in the group there was never from what I saw any meals that weren’t catered for in variety to suit everybodys needs. There were also a few days with western options for those who didn’t enjoy the Vietnamese options every single day.
Overall I would be a liar if I said I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed the trip in all its aspects, great group of people to have shared the experience with, great tour leader, fantastic and beautiful visuals throughout the country. An experience I would highly recommend to anyone!

The staff have been great, no drama whatsoever and my entire trip has been fantastic, Sam is an asset to intro, and for me, having a great leader makes the difference between a trip away and a real experience one shall never forget.

From the airport pickup at the very beginning through to all of the daytime activities and nights out, Sam made sure everyone was happy, safe and having a great time. The accommodation was varied and representative of the different areas in which we stayed. I was very impressed with the itinerary - it included something for everyone and there was a good amount of free time factored in as well. I would definitely recommend the Intro trip to Vietnam to anyone who is considering it - you won’t be disappointed!

My favourite moment of this trip was spending time on Freedom Island because it was so beautiful and peaceful. I love how there is always activities to do and even in free time Sam has always advised us on where to go and what to see oftentimes joining us. The accommodation has always been impeccable and well organised. I feel as though Sam has been a great group leader and made everyone feel included throughout. As well as creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere during and after long periods of travelling between areas. This is my first trip with intro travel and I would 100% love to go on another and recommend to all my friends.

I'm not sure we could have figured out transport on our own, which is why I'm grateful we went with Intro, they really make travelling easy! Even if an issue had cropped up, it was unnoticeable thanks to our great leader Sam Smith, who made our trip a breeze at the same time as being a good laugh and fun to have around :) Overall it was a awesome trip with a group of like-minded people and had everything you could want (and didn't know you wanted) to experience in Cambodia!
