About me:If you haven't fallen in love with Southeast Asia yet, then you haven't travelled with me! I've travelled a lot in my little life, but I can safely say I have the best job ever taking some of the most amazing people I've ever met through a whirlwind adventure through this beautiful place. I love how each day is different, from walking through jungles with elephants in Thailand, to climbing the Great Wall of China, to kayaking down the Nam Song River in Laos, or testing your taste buds with a tarantula. My travellers will probably never realise the immense impact they have on my life, but they are such an inspiration to me each day of how important travel is and how it can completely change your life.

Vietnam was amazing! In the 2-3 weeks I was there we covered so much. I’ll never forget the street food, Halong bay, mud fishing, riding around Hoi An... the list goes on! All this wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing trip manager Elle! She puts so much passion and energy into her job, she really loves Asia and is very well educated about everything. Elle makes it her number 1 priority for everyone to have fun and make the most of their trip. You can ask her anything at anytime and she will make sure to help! She’s not just a serious trip manager though... she still loves to come out and party with everyone! If Elle wasn’t announcing her custom colourful co-ordinated day sheet everyday, you think she’d be one of the travellers with you! I will never forget this trip and I can’t wait to go back!

The tour was amazing - super well organised, included the highlights of China and more. Although the trip seems expensive, once you get there you realise how many inclusions there are and how much organisation has gone into it. My highlight was definitely the pandas! Word of warning for Beijing... take a warm coat if you're going in April... I thought it would be warm but it was colder than the UK! I'm not a big drinker, and never once felt pushed into drinking, but we had a fantastic night out in Linx! Definitely worth it. The Great Wall was a fantastic experience and Yongshou and Xi'an were definitely my favourite places!
This is the first Contiki I've done but definitely the best tour manager I've had from any other tour companies! Elle was a fantastic tour manager and made this trip, we couldn't have asked for better. She sorted everything for us - we knew what the plans were each day, she gave us loads of free time ideas, and free time meal add ons (which were SO good!). Most importantly she was part of the group, open and honest, always smiling and dealt with any issues professionally. We never once felt lost, unsafe or left out. She definitely deserves to be recognised and is a credit to Contiki.
I totally believe that the other tour managers are fantastic but I will definitely be gutted if Elle isn't the tour manager for my next trip in Asia! I can't wait to meet up with some of the others from the group next year!
