However, Caroline WELL exceeded expectations! She was super friendly and welcoming, really informative throughout the tour sharing history of the places we were in, traditions and stories. She also had a great balance of being organised to keep on track, but remained flexible with the groups needs! We had a minor bus incident (not of her fault) and Caroline remained calm and composed whilst dealing with the situation. I honestly could not fault her for anything over the entire 5 days. Thanks so much Caroline - I believe having a great tour guide really was key in making the trip exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning to gorgeous Scotland!!!!!

The itinerary for each day and important information was clearly communicated and Caroline allowed room for us to choose our own adventure at each stop, making the trip feel like our own. She was calm throughout the trip, despite a minor wing mirror incident... Caroline was so enthusiastic about the tour, her job and beautiful Scotland, making it very hard to not be just as excited! I had the best time on the highland fling and it wouldn’t have been the same without such an amazing tour guide. Thanks so much Caroline! You’re a gem x

She was flexible to our needs and likes, giving us more time when we preferred places and less in others where we didn't. She made this trip so much better with her outgoing, vibrant nature and will definitely recommend this trip to others partly because of the itinerary and the things we got to see but mostly because of Caroline and how she made this trip so much more enjoyable! Du…Oh my gosh I needed a pick up in my life and I have never met someone so bubbly & welcoming even in the early depths of early morning starts and road traffic incidents that have happened to us all. During the tour Caroline was informative & provided us with lots of Scotland facts & itinerary timings for each day, with specific location recommendations which is very handy when you don’t know the area.
Caroline was approachable & tentative to mine and fellow travelers needs.
I saw Scotland in a short space of time which was amazing as I didn’t think that would be possible.
I now feel amazing and with out Caroline that would not be possible. She is a credit to the company.

I felt so well looked after and was always entertained. Caroline was engaging and helped our group bond extremely well. The locations we saw throughout the tour were stunning. I felt there was a great mix of sights, and activities. The accommodation was overall pretty good, although one location (Saucy Mary’s) had quite terrible bathroom facilities (out of order/shower hose broken/ sink not working). The home cooked meals at Morags Lodge were the best! Thanks Caroline and Haggis Adventures, keep up the high standards!!

Our fearless guide and driver, Caroline, looked after us and really took the time to share her love of the country with us. Each day was paced well, breaking up the driving time with sightseeing time and everything in between, and the accommodations were decent. Last but not least, I lucked out with pretty amazing tour mates—it was an amazing setting to be able to bond in. Without doubt, I would recommend Haggis Adventures to anyone looking to have a deeper experience of Scotland.

Caroline made our trip. She is inclusive, knowledgable, perceptive to everyone’s energy, enthusiastic and clearly wanted everyone in the bus to have the best experience possible. Her love for Scotland was genuine and deep and this came through in all of the stories and way she spoke of the land. I wish I could bottle up her energy and voice and make it my phone ringtone. I’d love to come and do another tour with friends or family (I did this one on my own) and request Caroline as the driver!

It would be helpful it the bus had phone charging points but otherwise r than that it was comfortable. The people at the accomodation were friendly and helpful. It was clean and a nice place to stay.

She created a kind of magic Scottish atmosphere from the very beginning on and taught us a lot about the Scottish culture and history. She just made everyone feel comfortable all the time. She did great, so did the hostel team and everybody who was part of our haggis adventure. I would definitely recommend the tour to everyone who likes to explore beautiful Scotland and meet many interesting people!

I do wish the itinerary were a little more full. Caroline definitely supplemented by adding things that weren’t on the original schedule, but even so, I felt as though we could have stopped more places/seen more things in the three days. Eg stopped at a castle or two, or ridden the Jacobite Express. When I’m traveling, I want to make the most of my time!
Hostel was fine, but would be nice to have more bathrooms (especially when there are three tour buses worth of folks leaving at the same time in the morning).
Caroline was absolutely spectacular and by far the BEST tour guide I've ever had!! We were also celebrating a friend's birthday on the trip, and Caroline went out of her way to get a birthday cake to eat and celebrate at the top of Old Man of Storr! She also taught us a lot of Scottish traditions and got us to take part in them! Overall, this was hands-down one of my favorite and most memorable trips I've ever had, all thanks to Caroline!

She always went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time and pointed out hidden gems around the city’s such as good pie spots or coffee shops. The tour was a great introduction to the highlands and although we were blessed with incredible weather, the views, walks and pub nights were all greater than I had expected. Definitely will he recommending a Haggis tour!

I was travelling alone when I took this tour May 25th-27th, 2019, but the vibe of the group was really great and made me feel welcome. The tour guides (Caroline and Charlie) were really approachable, …I was travelling alone when I took this tour May 25th-27th, 2019, but the vibe of the group was really great and made me feel welcome. The tour guides (Caroline and Charlie) were really approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, and really made the trip excellent in my personal opinion. It was unfortunate that it poured basically the entire time we were on the Isle of Skye, but our guides still made it a great experience. Glencoe was absolutely breathtaking and I would have loved to spend even more time there. Overall, I really had an amazing trip. I wish we had more time to spend at some stops, like the Eilean Donan Castle (no time to go inside), but otherwise, it was pretty awesome!

Caroline and Charlie are very passionate about Scotland, and made sure that we were well informed about the beautiful country. They were always up for a laugh and made an effort to have a conversation with everyone on the tour. To balance their passionate and positive nature, they were both very organised. My partner and I were able to relax throughout the trip knowing we were in capable hands. Will definitely be recommending this tour to our friends!

It was such an amazing tour with some incredible sights that I never would have found by myself. We faced every single weather condition but this did not dampen the mood of the tour! Both of our guides were great and have a clear love for Scotland with a lot of information I cannot wait to return to Scotland!

She told us many interesting and entertaining stories along the way, pertaining to the history of the various sites. We thought she was delightful.
I chose this tour specifically because they arranged the Jacobite steam train and accommodations were included. The tour is very well organized, and the bus is comfortable, with enough stops to get out and see and do things. I would use Highland Explorer Tours again.
