Hasan, who was our driver through most of the tour, was a gem of a person. He was very flexible and attentive to our needs and interests. He made sure to help us with any questions we had and provide us with advice.
Overall the tour was very well organized. We got exactly what we signed up for. The locations were very diverse and beautiful. In particular this tour would interest anyone who was looking for something of a mix of natural landscapes and historical sights with a strong flavour of local culture. Each place had its own uniqueness which ensured that the tour never felt repetitive.
The accommodation was generally pretty good. The hospitality of our hosts and generally the locals cannot be overstated.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour.

I would recommend everyone to book 4 days instead of 3 days. Txs again you are best guide and friend !

This was a fantastic tour of Morocco with Morocco Joy Travel - my wife and I loved it! Ali was our guide for the tour and he was wonderful. Ali was great at giving us interesting details on the places…This was a fantastic tour of Morocco with Morocco Joy Travel - my wife and I loved it! Ali was our guide for the tour and he was wonderful. Ali was great at giving us interesting details on the places we visited, advice on what to do in different locations, he had really good, consistent communication, and he was just fun to be with. He was also very flexible - we had a suitcase get lost in transit and he helped call the baggage handlers and get our bag delivered much faster and easier than it would have been otherwise, and he adapted our schedule to accommodate this. We also wanted to add on a side-trip and he gave great advice on what to do with the extra time and made it happen (for a very reasonable extra cost).
We loved visiting intense Marrakech and visiting crowded markets and beautiful palaces with a local guide. Next we headed through the rugged Atlas Mountains on our way to the desert. Ali did a great job of stopping at interesting sites along the way for pictures and to stretch our legs. A highlight of our trip was riding camels in the sand dunes to experience the desert in a unique way. After a night in the desert camp, we drove to Fes, again making useful and interesting stops along the way. In Fes, we again had a local guide that took as, with Ali’s help, all around the city. Our add-on day trip was to Chefchouen (a picturesque town with everything painted blue), which was a lovely addition.
Lodging: Every place we stayed was wonderful. We were constantly impressed with each Riad.
Food: So much good food! And lots of bottled water. We loved trying tajine, kebab, grilled lamb cutlets cut fresh by the butcher, pastilla and lots of other unique dishes. Ali joined us for lunch a few times, which was great.
Transportation: The van Ali drove was great, had very nice air-conditioning, and he kept us safe with some intense traffic.
Overall, it was a magical trip made great by Ali and Morocco Joy Travel.

I feel so fortunate that I booked this trip. It exceeded my expectations. Hamid our driver, was so much more than a driver: he kept us laughing, informed and safe. Hamid our driver, was so much more than a driver: he kept us laughing, informed and safe. Morocco is vast, in six days we covered a lot of diverse countryside, stopping at key sites, with guides provided in the maze like Medinas. This was extremely helpful and informative. Morocco is steeped in history, with so much to see, this tour was a great sampling and though I thought this was a once in a life time trip, it left me anxious to return. Though I did not get the chance to meet Ali, I was aware he was behind the scenes making sure everything ran smoothly. He was extremely caring and generous when help was needed. I highly recommend Morocco Joy Tour Company!

The tour encompassed a satisfying diversity of locations and experiences. The two long drives were helped by the several stops along the way to enjoy interesting sights. The two long drives were helped by the several stops along the way to enjoy interesting sights. Mohamed the driver was very professional, always driving carefully, and with planning to make sure that we did not need to hurry. The local guides in Chefchauoun and Fes were both knowledgeable and friendly. At Erg Chebbi, the sand dunes were spectacular and it was a place to respect the tranquility of nature. A strong recommendation is to have better control of the situation in the desert camp, to avoid the traditional music being followed by disco music played by a minority at maximum volume until 2 am when a complaint had to be made. It is disquieting that a few of the male staff were implicated in this situation, which also involved alcohol and young female tourists.

They made a wonderful pair …My first trip to Morocco became oh so memorable due to Morocco Joy Travel's staff -Said (guide) and Hamid (driver), the blend of different cultures, history and its people. They made a wonderful pair - it started with the easy to spot and personal pick up, timely drop off and pick ups, and even accommodating to our requests (as wanting to stay at a certain location longer or not stopping by locations that were planned). Hamid's driving skills kept on schedule and comfortable (no one got car sick during the curvy drive up and down the Atlas Mountain), and Said's knowledge of the country's history and culture educated and also entertained us. All places that we visited (Casablanca, Marrakesh, Fez, Atlas Mountain,Dades gorges) were amazing in their unique ways - but the time in the desert was the most impressive. Truly a beautiful country and amazing trip. I only wish we had more time to spend in Morocco - hoping to return again with Morocco Joy Travel.

Our driver Daoud was the kindest person ever, very attentive and he ended up becoming a friend.
The highlight of the trip was definitely staying at the desert camp! The activities are awesome and the staff is the nicest, most fun. We even extended our stay there for one more night, as Ali was very flexible and attentive. I want to come back every year. I fell in love with Morocco thanks to its surroundings, but mainly, thanks yo its people.

We had a great time on the tour to the desert! Said was an exceptional guide and gave a lot of insight into the local Moroccans lifestyle and culture, in addition to some humor! We upgraded to a luxur…We had a great time on the tour to the desert! Said was an exceptional guide and gave a lot of insight into the local Moroccans lifestyle and culture, in addition to some humor! We upgraded to a luxury style tent for the desert which was a great experience with very comfortable beds and bathrooms. Luckily Ali and Said were able to get us a last minute quad bike tour that we had a blast doing. Overall, I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to the Sahara!
