A once in a lifeime experience! Trexperience had great administration and made the trip completely hassle free, allowing you to focus on the climb and culture itself. Our guide Jason was engaging and never left us in any doubt as to what we could expect from the trip, highly recommend!

We did the Classic Inka Trail but 5D4N. This was an excellent option as it gave more time to really appreciate the magnificence of this trail. It also meant that we had an overnight in a hotel in Machu Picchu after the 4th day before doing the tour of Mach Picchu on the 5th day which meant we could enjoy it when we were fresh. The organisation of the whole trek was really impressive and we ate like kings! It’s a tough trek (certainly for the over 60s) but so worthwhile. Our guide Jean Carlo was really knowledgeable and absolutely committed to giving us all the best experience.

This will be an excellent trip once all of the kinks have been worked out. I understand that this route is new, and that showed during our tour. Our guide was great and very helpful, and we felt well taken care of. The first day though felt a bit disorganized as the plans changed several times (particularly around spacing of meals) and the route was difficult to follow. It didn't help that we chose to tour during the rainy season and several routes were washed out. In all I would recommend the tour and hopefully the learnings from our tour will help improve it for others in the future.
