Guide Suchat had excellent knowledge The Itinerary could have been improved by adding another full day in Chiang Mai, and staying at a different hotel (not the Empress). I'm not sure adding an unguided day in Bangkok right at the beginning of the tour was necessary, as people can organise to arrive at Bangkok days earlier if need be.
