It's relatively small for a Kenyan park, but a great add-on between Masai Mara and Nairobi. The lake's pink hue (when flamingos are there) against savanna and acacia forests is a true wonder to see.

One of my favorite travel experiences was this four-day vacation to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara! Starting from Nairobi on the first day itself the magnificent view of the Great Rift Valley and the game drive in Masai Mara was filled with the sight of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes. On the second day, I spent the whole day in Mara and went near the Mara River and got a chance to see the huge Big Five more closely. The guide took great care of us, always taking us to the right place and showing us the animals. Seeing the pink flocks of flamingos and rhinos, giraffes, tree-climbing lions in Lake Nakuru, I felt like I was in a dream. Accommodation was very comfortable and the food was excellent. The guides were very good in English, everything was on time. For those who want to do an African safari for the first time, this short tour is perfect to start with. I'm definitely recommending it! A big thank you to the Bencia Africa team.

Our experience was beyond excellent! The accommodation was amazing and the food was outstanding at all the locations. The staff were also all very friendly. We were picked up from our hotel by our guide Simon who stayed with us for the whole trip. He was always punctual, exceptionally friendly and consistently went out of his way to accommodate our wishes. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals and made sure we saw as much as possible (which was a lot!). We saw all the big 5 plus many more rare sights. I genuinely couldn’t fault this trip and would book again in a heartbeat. This trip was a bucket list dream that finally was realised and I don’t think it would have been as good with any other company or guide.
