Ganges River Cruises

I recently completed a 3-day guided tour in Varanasi. The itinerary itself was great and covered many of the highlights of the city, including the ghats, temples, and the Ganga Aarti ceremony. The guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture, and I appreciated the opportunity to see such an important spiritual destination up close. However, the experience would have been much better with clearer communication. There were times when airport pickup confirmation , meeting points, timing, or the plan for the day were not explained well in advance, which caused some uncertainty . A more detailed schedule or clearer updates from the tour company would have made the tour run much more smoothly. Overall, the destinations and cultural insights were memorable, but improved organization and communication would significantly enhance the experience for future travelers.

This short but powerful trip gave us a deep insight into one of India’s oldest cities. From the moment we arrived, Anuj made sure we were comfortable and had a clear schedule. He arranged for a local guide who was very knowledgeable about the history and rituals. The boat ride at sunrise was breathtaking a must-do! And the ritual cremation at Manikarnika Ghat was humbling and spiritual. Shyam, our driver, made everything stress-free despite the chaotic traffic. He also suggested a fantastic street food spot we never would’ve found ourselves.

Wow, what an amazing experience I had on the 9 Days Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour India and Nepal. It truly was a journey of enlightenment. From visiting ancient temples to meditating in peaceful monasteries, this tour offered a well-rounded and immersive experience of Buddhism. I especially appreciated the knowledgeable guides who provided insightful information about each site we visited. The itinerary was well-planned and allowed for enough time at each location without feeling rushed. The accommodations were comfortable and the meals provided were delicious. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Buddhism and exploring the rich cultural heritage of India and Nepal. It truly was a journey that will stay with me for a lifetime.
