When's the perfect time to visit Kashmir?
Well that really depends on what you're after. Winter hits December through February and Gulmarg becomes this incredible snowy playground - if you're into skiing or snowboarding you'll absolutely love it. Come spring around March to May and wow the gardens just burst into life - it's honestly magical taking a Shikara ride on Dal Lake when everything's in bloom especially around Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Summer's really pleasant from June to August perfect for exploring all those stunning lakes valleys and mountain passes. You can head up to places like Yusmarg and Aru Valley when the weather's just right. Then autumn rolls in September through November and the whole landscape transforms into these incredible colors - if you're into photography or trekking this is your time.
