What people love about touring Kashmir solo
- Leh Ladakh Tour
Going to Ladakh was a very special experience and I would recommend this tour highly. The landscape was absolutely spectacular and the blend of history, culture and geostrategic importance was fascinating. My tour with Alkof Holidays was very well organised. I requested an extra day be added to my trip and they organised a day of visits to Hemis and Thiksey Monasteries and Shey Palace. My guide Riyaz was fantastic, very kind and provided me with lots of insights about the region. There are too many highlights to list but the top of the list would be Pangong Lake. However I would note that as a solo female traveler, Alkof Holidays had to arrange an additional female guide for me at cost, so that I could visit.
- Leh Ladakh Tour - 8 Days
Leh was superb part of India. Valleys was full of cultural gems, and history was intriguing. The guide knowledge made everything perfect. The driver was careful on winding roads. Comfortable hotels and drives more enjoyable. Great for history and culture to know.
- Beautiful Ladakh
Views of Pangong Lake and the Nubra Valley were stunning. Guides provide lots of history insight of the region, and I learned a lot about Ladakhi culture. The accommodations were basic but clean and comfortable. Our driver was a pro, taking care of us on the challenging roads. The experience was truly unique, and I highly recommend it.
