What people love about Croatia Tours for Couples
- Impressive Croatia

- Croatia Explorer Deluxe Cruise Dubrovnik -Trogir
excellent service from start to finish.
- Croatia Deluxe Cruise - from Trogir
The tour got off to a rocky start. We had purchased an extra night before the start of the cruise and arrived in Croatia to find that the booking was for two months into the future and there were no rooms to be had in Split. The agent for Tourradar initially said that they couldn't find us a room--obviously an unacceptable situation. I searched various websites and finally found a place an hour away. The owner of the company then jumped in and ensured our travel to and from and got us to the boat on time. I also had to pay for the new booking myself but Tourradar timely reimbursed my costs. The owner was in regular contact over this. As for the cruise, it was fun. The boat was nice. The stops were well planned with enough time to explore. Only two complaints: first, the boat is a bit stingy with the beer/wine. They comp one glass at lunch or dinner. On other cruises, I've taken house wine and beer are bottomless at dinner. This would be a relatively minor increase in expense to the operator but would set a better tone. Second and more importantly, some sailings should be designated adults only. (Perhaps some are and we missed that detail.) We had two families on our boat with small (under 5) children and both allowed their kids to run around freely and they seem to think staff were their babysitters. Kudos to the staff who did their best to try and handle the situation. In short, consider this before you book this type of cruise. It's a small boat (a good thing) but it becomes too small when there are young children.
What our customers ask about Romantic Croatia Trips & Honeymoon Packages
When is the best time for couples to visit Croatia?
Plan your visit between May and September when the weather is perfect, with temperatures between 68-86°F (20-30°C). If you want to skip the biggest crowds but still enjoy great weather, go in June or September. Many travelers love visiting Hvar Island in July to see the beautiful lavender fields in bloom. Looking to save money and have more space to yourselves? Try May or early October - the weather is still nice, and you'll find better deals in popular spots like Split and Dubrovnik.
What are the most recommended couples' accommodations in Croatia?
You'll find some really special places to stay across Croatia. In Dubrovnik, check out the 5-star Hotel More - it has beautiful rooms with ocean views and a really cool bar built into a cave. Over in Split, the Hotel President puts you right by the famous Diocletian's Palace in an old-world setting. If you're heading to Hvar Island, Hotel Paros gives you amazing views of the coast. Many travelers say the Valamar Lacroma in Dubrovnik is worth splurging on - especially for watching the sun set over the Adriatic from your room.
Which Croatian cities offer the best romantic dining experiences?
Some of the most special dining spots are hidden in Dubrovnik's Old Town, especially along Stradun Street. In Split, you can eat inside the ancient walls of Diocletian's Palace, where local restaurants serve traditional Dalmatian food in really atmospheric settings. Travelers often mention how much they love having dinner by the water in Hvar Town as the sun sets. Korčula's old town is perfect for finding cozy wine bars. For special occasions, try the rooftop restaurants at Hotel More in Dubrovnik or Hotel President in Split.
Which Croatian islands are best suited for a couples' getaway?
Hvar Island tops the list with its mix of lavender fields, nice hotels like Hotel Paros, and stylish beach clubs. Korčula feels like stepping back in time with its small medieval streets and waterfront restaurants. If you want to get away from it all, head to Vis Island - travelers say it feels like old-school Mediterranean, with quiet beaches and wine tasting in centuries-old cellars. For nature lovers, Mljet is perfect - its National Park has two peaceful salt lakes where you can spend quiet time together.
What unique romantic experiences are available in Croatia?
You can do some really special things together in Croatia. Try wine tasting in old cellars on Vis Island, take a private boat ride around the Pakleni Islands at sunset, or taste fresh oysters in Ston. You can plan private dinners in medieval castles, take boat trips to hidden beaches, or walk along Dubrovnik's city walls at night. One traveler wrote, "The evening walks through Split's historical center, followed by wine tasting experiences, created unforgettable romantic moments."
What are the most romantic locations included in Croatia tours for couples?
You'll find romance all over Croatia. Hvar town is especially charming with its lavender fields and amazing sunsets. Dubrovnik's Old Town feels magical at night with its lit-up stone streets and cozy restaurants. Mljet National Park offers peace and quiet with two beautiful saltwater lakes. Many travelers love finding secluded spots on the Pakleni Islands near Hvar. The seaside dining at Hotel More in Dubrovnik is really special. Don't miss Korčula either - its wine bars and old Venetian buildings make for perfect evening walks together.
