Overall this was a good tour. It was different from some other tours I booked in that you aren't with the same group the entire time. It's a bunch of little tour options that are customized for you. With that, Long Pham has excellent communication. Constantly reaching out, making sure I'm aware of the next step of the itinerary, asking me how everything is going. I was thoroughly impressed with his communication. The quality of the hotels were good and in good locations. I picked the middle level, which I'm sure affected it. The hotel location in Hanoi was good and it was easy to walk everywhere I wanted to. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel in Sapa was good. Breakfast was fine. The hike the first day wasn't that good, but I really enoyed the hike the second day. Make sure to bring good sneakers or hiking boots. The boat cruise to Ha Long Bay was nice. Very picturesque location. The boat is certainly showing its age. I could hear the people in the room next to me when they were talking. But considering I didn't spend much time in the room, it didn't matter. And the staff was amazing. The only part I didn't like was the drive to Sapa. It's a 6 hour bus ride. The bus quality was great. But the rest stops are questionable. You get a small snack, but you may want to pack some food for the road, or just buy some dry goods when you stop at the rest stops. I did eat at the stops and didn't get sick, but if you read the google maps reviews, others didn't have a good experience. If you only have a short amount of time to spend, this is a good option. Otherwise, consider one of the longer tours to spend more time in each place, or just reach out to the company and they'll customize a trip for you.

Just finished the full moon party pack and although it is the shortest tour available I still had an absolutely incredible time and made really good friends with the group. Arthur and Tommy were both so much fun and I’m going to miss them loads! They were both super involved with the group always joking around and having fun whilst still making sure everything ran smoothly and that we always knew what was going on. The full moon party was a blast and yet we did so much more than just that with the full day boat trip around Koh Phangan and the quad biking it was all just a 10/10 experience and I seriously couldn’t recommend doing a trutravels tour enough! (This was my fourth and I always have such a good time if anything they just get better and better!)

In India, you get some really comfortable spots like the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra. One traveler told me: "The accommodations were perfect - being able to adventure during the day but relax in great surroundings in the evenings."
What wildlife might I encounter on a 7-day adventure safari?
On Tanzania's northern circuit, you've got a great chance of seeing the major African animals. Travelers regularly spot the "Big Five" - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo. One person who just got back told me they saw "around 150+ Lions, 9 Cheetahs, 5 Leopards, thousands of Zebras, and hundreds of Elephants" during their week-long safari. The variety is pretty incredible.
What's the ideal season for a 7-day adventure tour?
It really depends where you're going. For Tanzania safaris, aim for June through October - that's when wildlife viewing is best and temperatures hover between 70-85°F (21-29°C). If you're heading to Morocco, spring (March-May) or fall (September-November) are great choices with milder temperatures. These times tend to be most popular with travelers since the weather's good but not too extreme.
What weather conditions should I prepare for on a 7-day adventure tour?
Pack for variety! In Morocco, summer days can hit 122°F (50°C) but nights in the Atlas Mountains drop below freezing to 21°F (-6°C). Bali stays tropical with temperatures around 86°F (30°C) and lots of humidity. Northern Thailand is more moderate - usually 77-86°F (25-30°C) in the mountains. One helpful tip from a traveler: "Most Moroccan buildings don't have heating, so bring warm layers for nighttime."
How much of the day is typically spent traveling between destinations?
You'll spend a decent amount of time on the road. In Morocco, drives between major stops like Marrakech to Merzouga usually take 4-6 hours. The India Golden Triangle involves 3-4 hour drives between cities. Thailand mountain routes typically mean 2-3 hours between places.
