10-Day Tunisia Tour Packages
Picture ten days moving through North Africa's most underrated country. Tunisia's got Roman ruins at Carthage and El Jem that rival anything in Italy, Sidi Bou Said with its blue-and-white everything, and Tunis' medina where you can get lost. Venture into the Sahara near Douz or Tozeur, see where they filmed Star Wars, and explore Kairouan's Islamic heritage. For beaches, head to the Mediterranean coast around Hammamet.

10 Day Tunisia Itinerary, incl. Tunis and Sahara Desert
Your 10-day adventure unfolds across 5 major cities from Sidi Bou Said to Sousse. The itinerary features 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites including Carthage and El Jem, 4 mountain oases like Chebika and Tameghza, plus Sahara Desert camping. Includes 8 breakfasts and 6 dinners.

- Days 1-2
Sidi Bou Said & Tunis
Start your trip in Sidi Bou Said, the beautiful blue-and-white village just 20 minutes from Tunis airport. Visit early morning to explore the cobblestone streets before the crowds arrive. On your second day see the ruins of Carthage before 10 AM to avoid the heat. Visit the Tunis medina in the afternoon when the markets are busy. Remember to wear closed shoes in the medina since the stone paths can be slippery.

- Day 3
Dougga & Kairouan
Take a 3-hour drive to see Dougga, which has North Africa's best-preserved Roman ruins. Next stop is Kairouan, the holy city of Tunisia. You can visit the Great Mosque until sunset but remember to bring a scarf for covering shoulders. The carpet workshops are popular with visitors but expect some enthusiastic selling.

- Days 4-5
Tozeur Oasis & Mountain Adventures
- Day 6
Sahara Desert Experience
- Days 7-8
El Jem & Coastal Tunisia
The El Jem amphitheater is almost as big as the Roman Colosseum. Continue to Sousse where you'll find a more authentic medina experience than in Tunis. "The evening light on El Jem's ancient stones creates an unforgettable golden glow," according to one visitor. Visit El Jem in late afternoon after the tour groups leave.

- Days 9-10
Mediterranean Coast & Departure
Spend time in Hammamet and Nabeul to see their ceramic workshops. Stay in Gammarth for your last night since it's closer to the airport. Plan for 2 hours at the airport because security checks can take time.
9 Days in Tunisia, incl. Tunis and Kairouan
This 9-day trip takes you to 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites throughout Tunisia, from the ancient Punic ruins of Carthage to the well-preserved Roman city of Dougga. See the 3rd-century El Jem Amphitheater that once held 30,000 spectators, walk through Kairouan's Great Okba Ibn Nafaa Mosque, and check out the unique Punic city of Kerkouan that was never rebuilt by the Romans. Accommodations include 3 nights at a 4-star hotel in Tunis and 2 nights at a 5-star property in Kairouan, with half-board throughout.

- Day 1
Tunis Arrival
- Days 2-3
Tunis & Carthage
Start in Tunis's medina and visit the 8th-century Zitouna Mosque before the crowds get there. Head to the Bardo Museum after 2 PM when it's quieter to see North Africa's best Roman mosaics. At Carthage, start your visit at Byrsa Hill to get the best view of the ancient city. Save Sidi Bou Said for late afternoon when the sun makes the blue-and-white village look its best.

- Day 4
Ichkeul & Dougga
- Days 5-6
Kairouan
Spend two nights in Kairouan to properly explore Tunisia's holiest city. Visit the Great Mosque's courtyard in the morning for the best photos. Kerkouane & Nabeul
- Day 9

What people love about 10-day Tunisia tours
- Tunisia Tour, Small Group Tour
Our experience was wonderful. Our guide, Yousra, was extremely competent, had a very pleasant personality, and contributed our understanding of Tunisia in a very interesting and informative manner. Every detail was covered carefully, and we felt that we were in capable hands at all times. I also can't say enough about our driver, Louay. Very pleasant, professional, just a terrific person. I will not hesitate to book other tours through Tour Radar and will also have nothing but kind words to say about Tunisie Voyages. Although I never met him, Ekbel responded to my queries in a prompt manner and gave me accurate information every step of the way.
- The Best of Tunisia & All-inclusive Beach Extension (Stay connected), Small Group Tour
Although our overall experience was Good with Tunisie Voyages for our Best of Tunisia and All-Inclusive Beach Extension, there are some serious Coordination/Communication issues that need to be resolved before I could recommend Tunisie Voyages. The Guide , Radhouine Jammali, and the Driver, Mr. Louay, were excellent! Our guide is the most knowledgeable of any we have had in our travels. And our Driver, was very competent and courteous. We could not have asked for better. The Travel arrangements at the beginning and end (from the airport and returning to the airport) were unacceptable. We had to wait about 4 hours for the initial transfer, resulting in 1 1/2 hours sleep before our tour was to start! At the end, the driver was late, resulting in only 40 minutes until our flight time after the clearances. The Biggest Concern is that Tunisie Voyages does not provide a 24/7 hotline so clients can get help. Foreign country, foreign language, not acceptable! The second night of lodging and the "cafeteria" atmosphere was unacceptable. There was very little help with my Gluten Free status for meals. Our paperwork said Beer/Wine was included with meals while on tour, but we had to pay for some. We should be reimbursed as there is a glitch between TourRadar and Tunisie Voyages with what is published. At the All-Inclusive resort, which was very nice and the drinks included were nice, there needs to be a 1 page Information summary of the Resort info. It took a half day to find out the needed information. The Guide and Driver were great, the sites were good although rushed with a compact schedule, the transportation beginning and end was not acceptable, and the feeling of No Support from Tunisie Voyages when there were issues was of real concern. Prior to the tour, Tunisie Voyages responded promptly but when really needed, they were not there for us! I would not want anyone else to experience what we did so our experience needs to be fully examined.
- Immersive Tunisia, Small Group Tour
Immersive Tunisia is ideal for those who want to have a good look at the country's grand historical sites. The tour was very well organised by Tunisie Voyages. Our guide was a mine of information and was responsive to our wishes. Our driver moved us around swiftly, safely and with great courtesy. The standard of food and accommodation was good throughout. I highly recommend both Tunisia and the tour.
