      Bern, Switzerland

A recent visitor shared: "The medieval Old Town is incredibly preserved - I'd recommend visiting the Clock Tower (Zytglogge) right before the hour to watch the mechanical figures come to life." Take the red Gurtenbahn funicular up Gurten Mountain for city views. The late afternoon offers better lighting for photos and smaller crowds.

The traditional fondue lunch afterward was perfect after the morning activities."
