Hello, Tour guides were great. You need to communicate more with travellers especially around holidays. Due to Christmas, you changed the itinerary to have 3 days free time Dec 24-26 and I only found out because I asked on Dec 23. This should have been published on your website in advance. If I had known in advance, I would have made a different plan. I was the only person on the tour so contacting me would be easy. I also think 1 activity of wine tasting in Larnaca did not happen. Have a great day.

What our customers ask about Cyprus Guided Tours & Trips
What's the best time of year to take a guided tour in Cyprus?
For guided tours in Cyprus April-May and September-October provide the most comfortable conditions with temperatures between 20-25°C and moderate tourist numbers. Summer months bring beach-perfect weather but high temperatures while winter tours from November to March offer mild conditions ideal for exploring archaeological sites. The Troodos mountains maintain cooler temperatures throughout the year. Booking data indicates September and October are the peak months for tour reservations.
What are the main benefits of choosing a fully guided tour in Cyprus?
Guided tours in Cyprus connect travelers with local experts who manage the complexities of visiting both Greek and Turkish territories. Guides bring historical context to locations like Kourion's ancient ruins and Kykkos Monastery that many independent travelers might overlook. Their expertise proves especially valuable when navigating the Green Line between territories including divided Nicosia and Kyrenia's harbor. Tours usually include stays at established properties such as the Pia Bella Hotel in Kyrenia or Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol with organized transport between destinations. A TourRadar traveler noted "Our guide was excellent in every way - highly organized very sociable and above all his knowledge of the area and its history was amazing."
What level of accommodation can I expect on fully guided Cyprus tours?
Most Cyprus guided tours feature 3-4 star hotels in prime locations. The Best Western Plus Hotel in Larnaca and Park Beach Hotel in Limassol represent typical accommodations while upscale tours offer 5-star options like the Crowne Plaza Limassol. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The chosen hotel Best Western Plus in Larnaca was very clean well located walkable to the Old town and beautiful beaches."
What kind of meals are included on guided Cyprus tours?
Standard tour packages include daily breakfast and selected group meals showcasing Cypriot dishes. Unique food experiences range from wine tastings in Omodos to halloumi-making demonstrations and traditional meze feasts. According to a TourRadar traveler: "The food was fantastic wherever we went - from traditional tavernas serving meze to local family homes where we learned to make authentic Cypriot dishes."
What should I pack for a fully guided tour in Cyprus?
Essential items for Cyprus tours include sturdy walking shoes for archaeological explorations at Paphos and Salamis conservative clothing for religious sites like Kykkos Monastery beach gear for stops at Konnos Bay hiking wear for Troodos mountains and evening attire for group dinners. Summer visitors should prioritize lightweight breathable clothing as temperatures often reach 35°C.
How experienced are the guides on Cyprus tours?
Licensed Cyprus tour guides demonstrate extensive regional knowledge and typically speak several languages including English German and French. Their expertise covers the island's history archaeology and cultural heritage. A TourRadar traveler commented: "Christina was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. The whole tour was well organised and very interesting." Most guides bring at least 5 years of experience leading groups across Cyprus.
