The tour is well worth the money you spend on it. You see so much in a short amount of time and not once did I feel rushed. The only thing I didn’t like was with the accommodation being in a caravan p…The tour is well worth the money you spend on it. The only thing I didn’t like was with the accommodation being in a caravan park which meant our room was located 10 minutes from the entrance which was a treacherous walk up hill. So we had to leave super early to get on the bus

The amalfi and positano days were pretty boring and possibly could use more suggested activities. Campsite had a great view.

Lots of hidden fees regarding meals and transportation. One cabin didn’t have heat so we fit 5 people in 3 beds. Could’ve used more time in Naples and Pompeii and less in amalfi/sorrento/positano.

We had no heat in our cabin the first night so we shoved 6 girls into one cabin. Costs could have been better explained beforehand too.

I would have to say this was the biggest highlight of our holiday.
We travelled Paris, Nice, Your tour down the South of Italy (Amalfi Coast) I have to say was the best time of my life. The most amazing, beautiful views I have ever seen..
We then went to Rome, yes another amazing place but nothing competes with the Amalfi Coast.... I cannot explain the beauty of this place? Capri, Sorrento and Positano Oh my God the perfect place to ever lay eyes on...

They were very helpful with communication and had all accomodation, transport, optional tours, etc outlined in a package on my first day. The tour leaders are friendly and helpful and genuinely care about your experience on the tour. I would have liked to have spent more time with them. For my first time to Italy I think 13 day Mamma Mia was the perfect way to see as much as possible. I just wish I had more time! The accomodation in Florence was amazing and the views from the campground in Sorrento were stunning.

My boyfriend and I took the best of Tuscany tour which consists of 3 tours in 3 days: the night tour of florence, visit some medieval villages including the one w/ the best gelato in the world (san gi…My boyfriend and I took the best of Tuscany tour which consists of 3 tours in 3 days: the night tour of florence, visit some medieval villages including the one w/ the best gelato in the world (san gimignano), and pisa/cinque terre. Truly, i think it was great, and the guides, even better! The first 2 tours was with Sásá and the last was with Alessandro. Both guides are great! Sásá was super funny and both guides would answer any questions to the best of their abilities. One important thing to note: I noticed that many people complained about the lack of actual "guiding" through the towns. First, it states clearly in the itinerary that they take you to the locations, tell you the history and interesting facts, and then leave you to roam around on your own. Second, this is a BUDGET tour, as it clearly states in their name. If you want a detailed tour with someone at your ear at every waking moment, this is not for you. They also told us that they're actually not allowed to tour us around the towns, I believe that is the result of limited licensing. Personally, I think it was perfect since we were only in italy for the length of the tour. I'll be looking them up again next time I'm in Italy.

1. I didn't know that I'd have multiple tour guides as I expected one to follow through the entire tour. I am glad I had different tour guides as it did make it more fun, but it was not expected.
2. A minimum tour number should be implemented or made clear. I only had 3 on my tour. It was great fun because we all got on so well, but if we didn't then additional numbers could help.
3. Having all tour members staying in the same room at hostels throughout the trip would be beneficial to building bonds. We all we all separate in Rome for the first few days of the tour.
4. The tour vouchers for additional day tours, for example the Vatican and colosseum, to you where to meet to start a tour, but not who the tour is with. This is confusing. It would have helped to know who we were taking the tours with and who to look for.
5. Pisa was a great trip but again on the voucher it did not explain anywhere that you have to drop of bags in lockers first before you can asend. This additional information on the voucher would help.
Apart for a few niggles, which every tour does have, this is diefinitely one of the best tours I have been on.

The entire experience was seamless the tours were incredibly well organized, and the hotels arranged for us were nothing short of amazing. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our trip stress-free and unforgettable.
Their app made everything so easy to navigate and understand, and we loved how the additional add-on tours were both interesting and reasonably priced. The partner companies they work with for excursions were, for the most part, excellent.
The one small issue we had with an outside tour company was resolved immediately by Anastasia, who truly went above and beyond for us. She stayed much later than expected to ensure our first day in Italy and the first day of our honeymoon was absolutely perfect. That level of personal care and dedication meant the world to us.
We can’t recommend Italy on a Budget (and Anastasia in particular!) highly enough. They turned our dream honeymoon into a reality, and we’re already looking forward to traveling with them again.

It represented great value with a fully trained tour guide on each day guiding you through the trip and a free apperitivo and welcome meal included along with the accommodation. A special shout-out to our tour guides Anna and Elisa who were amazing. It was great to get to know them as well as learn more about the cities we visited. Their local knowledge really enhanced the tour and I was always given great recommendations for things to do or food and drink to try whether it was pasta, pizza, Italian bread, an apperitivo or gelato (I ate a lot of gelato!)
Highlights of the tour included trying Carbonara as part of our welcome dinner in Rome, exploring all the great architecture of Rome and the Vatican and our day trip to Tuscany where we tried various different wines and it really felt like a proper Italian experience.
Thank you to Italy on a Budget tours for making this such a memorable tour. I think I'll have to come back and go to Southern Italy next time!

Meghan our lovely tour guide an was absolutely amazing taking us around Cinque Terri, Amalfi, Positano Florence and Venice.
This is an incredibly tour, well organised and lovely, definitely great for solo travellers as you can make friends and go out daily / in the evening and still feel safe. Definitely something i will never forget.

It was really great to have all the accommodation, transport and tours booked and organised by the company. Our tour guide Fede was awesome, funny, engaging and very intelligent which made for a fun and relaxing holiday. The small group made it a more personal experience and having the knowledge of a local guide meant we didn’t miss anything and could avoid and tourist traps. Would 100% recommend.
