I had an amazing experience and can't recommend it enough! Our leader (Grant) and the rest of the guests were fantastic and the highlights for me have to be the morning spent surfing after a fantastic night out in sky garden. Thanks to everyone who made Balintro trip so memorable!

Grant was very welcoming from day one. He offered lots of advice and made it really fun. The best part of the tour was the dolphins and I also really enjoyed the private villa.

I’ve learned so much on this tour and Grant have been an absolutely amazing guide. I enjoyed everything all from the surfing, to the sunset on the swing and the group.
Definitely going back to Bali !

Better than expected, dolphin spotting would be the best day. Great team leader Grant who made the whole experience ten times better. Loving villa was amazing! Would definitely recommend the tour!

He created such an energetic, fun, inclusive atmosphere. He made sure everyone was always taken care of and doing what would be enjoyable for them. He went above and beyond what I could have expected and made the experience thar much better. I would highly recommend Travel Intro and Grant to others.

The biggest letdown of this tour was some of the locations and accommodations we went too lacked energy but this is from a hyperactive guy that gets bored easily. Grant our tour leader was awesome nothing bad to say about him, I had a blast with him and I'm sure I'm gonna miss him being around him in the future. The activities where fine but some of them we're too chill for my like I said I like moving a lot, but for the snorkeling and the trekking was awesome.

Alicia and Grant were our group leaders for the duration and the chemistry between the two of them radiated throughout the group as they didn’t shy at getting involved with the group and the activities.
Both were approachable and although they bounced off of each other each one had their own personal recommendations to food and things to do in our spare time.
I’m now looking at booking the Vietnam tour with the company in 2018.

Alicia was there from the moment I stepped off the plane and has been the most inspiring and helpful person through the trip. I was apprehensive before doing the trip but straight away I felt comfortable and both leaders made sure everyone was happy and involved the whole time. They have certainly made this one experience I will never forget and I will definitely be booking another tour. I couldn’t have asked for better leaders or to meet a better bunch of people!

I had an awesome time in Bali and Gili T with Alicia and Grant as our tour guides. It was a really cool way to experience Bali, very chill but still we saw a bunch of stuff in a short amount of time.
The trip was amazing! Favourite part was the dolphin boat ride. Had Alicia and Grant as group leaders, both hilarious. Especially Alicia's fun games and riddles to make some of the longer journeys go …The trip was amazing! Favourite part was the dolphin boat ride. The restaurant near the ferry port to gili t was pretty awful. The food was not nice both times we ate there. All other restaurants have been very good. All experiences have been brilliant!! Grant has been such a wkd tour leader. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to lead the trip. Very outgoing, bubbly and up for a good time. He looked after the group very well and made this trip so much fun!

Not only are you given 12 new best friends to travel and enjoy adventures with, we also had an amazing guide Grant to show us the ropes as well. Grant was awesome; he was always chatting with everyone and making us all feel comfortable initially, and explained things very well so we were always prepared for the day's activity and knew what the plan was ahead of time. Activities were well planned out, accommodations were amazing (especially the private villa in Lovina and the hotel in Canggu!) and there is down time too for doing things in your own. 12 day includes the sunrise volcano hike and that is EPIC!! Highly recommend this tour!

So jam packed with things to do and I've made some unforgettable memories. Having Grant as a tour guide has enhanced the experience in a lot of ways. He's brilliant at his job. He gives 100% whether is 6am or the late hours of the evening and never fails to put a smile on the face of everyone in the group. He's both responsible and fun and he always knows the right moments to step in and boost moral whilst not being too overpowering. Any future group is lucky to have him and I wish him all the best.

My tour leader , grant was who made my trip so special from being able to make everyone laugh, make everyone feel included and ensuring everyone was happy in what they were doing. For example I have a fear of water so grant noticed this and supported me further in these activities to ensure I was able to take part without feeling unsafe. In addition he's always smiling and mixing with the locals which creates an amazing reputation for the intro travel. Lastly, grant was extremely knowledgeable about all the elements of the the culture and traditions that we were in. He's awesome

The favorite activity that we did was the hike up the volcano as it was challenging yet worthwhile hike. Most of the hotels were lovely a part from the beasha which was unclean and unsafe. My team leader, Grant was incredible he not only Knew loads about the culture in Bali and could teach us the traditions and traits he was also able to help come over personal fears for example he helped me relaxing in the monkey forest and around other animals. He was also a huge help in the water which I am terrified off. I've never met a group leader that has gone beyond his duties to ensure my trip was amazing from having personal jokes with everyone in the group to always smiling regardless of the situation

Grant was a great tour guide and I have learnt a lot from him.
Accommodation was good and comfortable.
Snorkeling was good fun and the whole trip was structured without being too regimented.

numerous follow up emails from Balintro with advice on what to pack and
what to do on arrival and the manner in which this was organized and
facilitated impressed me. On arrival I was greeted by an enthusiastic guide
who stayed with us for the first two days of the tour Grant. The guide who
completed the rest of the 10 days with us was Alicia. The tour itself has
the right amount of balance between culture, partying and land and sea
activities which for me was the best part of the tour I got to see and do
so much of what Bali has to offer in a short space of time. The entire tour
ran smoothly. Accommodation was always different and comfortable. The Villa
in Lovina was my favorite place though. The restaurant are all well
selected with a variety of cuisine, deco and vibes. I especially enjoyed
the menu recommendations shared with us by our guide Alicia... Everything
she recommended was always yummilicious. Now I have to highlight my guide
Alicia, as she is an extremely dynamic, extraordinary woman. She was
extremely friendly and gave the group well over 100% daily. For me
personally Alicia made my trip... I cannot swim or cycle... On our first
night in Lovina she got me into the pool and offered to teach me how to
swim, which was a good first lesson, on our second day she encouraged me
during snorkeling in Lovina and I was scared. In Gili T she tandem road a
bicycle with me so that I would not lose out on the experience. And then
the highlight of my trip snorkeling in Gili T to watch turtles... Alicia
encouraged me and motivated me to get into the ocean, she never let go of
my hand the whole time... This was the best experience of my life and it
was made possible by Alicia. My bank cards were also stolen during the trip
and Alicia helped me to transfer money to her account so that I could get
cash. Alicia is extremely passionate about Bali and this rubbed up off on
me. I also commend and appreciate the effort she makes to communicate in
Balinese and the manner in which she interacted with all our drivers,
restaurant staff and the family and children during our family visit.
During our tour Mt Agung was emitting ash, our guide was proactive in
getting us masks just in case we may need them. She also gave us daily
updates and continued in a calm nature which helped our tour group stay
calm during this time as well. Sincere thank yous to Balintro and Alicia
for a phenomenal holiday experience. Keep up the passion and great work

Our leader Grant was amazing! He was funny and entertaining and he also saw and talked to everyone in the group. He was informative when needed and we always knew what the plan for the rest of the day was. I've been to other group tours before and Grant is the best leader so far!
The accommodations have been great. I'm used to hostels so hotels and a villa are appreciated upgrades :)

My fav parts would have to be the turtle snorkeling as I was centermiteres away from the beautiful things and also the volcano trek was so much harder than I expected but so worth it. Grant our tour leader was so organized and a great guy to get along with and made everyone feel welcome and answered every question and resolved any issues . Shout out to all the tour guides they don't get enough credit for the great job they do.

When I booked it, I knew I was going to have fun, but nothing could've compared to this. From day 1, Grant was on top of everything, and he really made the trip spectacular. He did a great job of keeping us together, getting us to know each other, and including himself in the fun. And his constantly positive attitude REALLY came in handy during the unexpected events (tree falling, downpours, van breakdowns, and early wake times). I would love to have him as a leader for a future trip if at all possible!

We have experienced so much during these days in Bali, and to just get the opportunity to snorkle, see dolphins and surf for instance is just amazing. Grant always gave us enough information about the things that were happening next, and he also repeted it, which was really nice because then he made sure that we really got the messages. Grant also made sure to talk to everyone and include everyone all the time, and he had a good tone with absolutely everyone. Balintro is definitely something I recommend to other people that want to experience a lot during a short time. Grant is the best!

He seem to love his job, he makes everyone feel included in the group and makes sure that everyone is ok at any time. I would highly recommend him as a leader and I wish that every leader could be like him. This trip has been so interesting, from seeing turtles and dolphins to homestay. I loved every minute of it.

The whole thing has been 100% enjoyable. Our leader, Grant, I could not fault. He's been really great - couldn't have asked for better. He has made the trip what it is and any group would be lucky to have him.
The trip was everything I expected and more. From the very start I felt welcomed and made to feel at ease, despite being in a wildly different culture and not knowing anyone there! Grant did a brilliant job explaining what was going to happen each day and answered all of my many many questions. All the hotels we stayed in were of a great standard with friendly staff. There was a great choice of activities that suited everyone and still allowed for some fee time to explore by ourselves. The locations we went to were phenomenal with Padang Padang bay being a favourite of mine! Unfortunately I fell ill during the trip and wasn't able to take part in everything but I was well looked after with grant checking on me regularly and making sure I was comfortable, arranging trips to the pharmacy when I needed it. I was nervous coming on the trip as my first solo tour but I didn't need to be, the accommodation, activities and people were all incredible and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Everything from temples and snorkeling in crystal clear water to the most amazing parties and nightlife you can imagine. The hotels have also been amazing. Definitely worth every single penny!

It's genuinely difficult to pick one single thing as my favorite, as all the things you do and see is a train of awesomeness. With that said I don't think the trip would be half as good without our guide, Grant. I've had a good deal tour guides in my travels, but Grant stands out as one of the best, if not a contender for the top spot.

All of your luggage is transported from each location without you having to lift a finger. Out of all of the trips and travel guides I have had, Grant is hands down the best tour guide EVER!!! He is very personal and makes you feel like your family. Grant is extremely professional, and yes also funny. I also like how he always answers my questions even if he's already answered it four times that day. If you are thinking about traveling with Intro Travel, it has to be with Grant!

I thought the accommodation on this trip was amazing, nothing to complain about in regard to the accommodation. I thought Grant was a top notch tour guide, he was funny and always cracking banter and keeping the group moral up. He was good at keeping everyone up to date with what was happening in the coming days and always made sure everyone in the group was looked after. I thought the activities were good and loved the snorkeling and surfing the most. The only thing I would say about the last 5 days of the trip is that there was perhaps a bit too much free time.

The food in Bali was amazingI Almost every restaurant we went to there was many different options to choose from. I've been on Thaintro as well and had an equally wonderful experience. Intro travel is a kick ass company with amazing tour leaders who have a close connection to the countries/people they tour.

My highlight of the trip was dolphin watching in Lovina and visiting the local family. The tour leader Grant was great, really friendly and made sure we were all okay all the time. Definitely great value for money and experience not to be missed!

The whole trip was amazing and Grant was really easy to get along with and was flexible to what we wanted to do and experience. He was so helpful and fun to be around. We loved the trip and all the activities and would definitely recommend other to go.

The tour has showcased a variety of locations around the country. The range of activities has been great and I particularly enjoyed seeing dolphins in their natural habitat and snorkelling to see turtles. Grant was exceptionally supportive with the activities as I was nervous and apprehensive regarding the monkey forest in particular, but he encouraged me to go along and I was eventually confident enough to have a picture taken with a monkey. Grant efficiently resolved an issue with our room in one of the hotels without hesitation. Unfortunately, on one evening we were unable to eradicate a creature from our room, and Grant swiftly came to our room and removed it so we were able to sleep peacefully at night. Overall, the tour was a life changing experience and Grant has been a fantastic group leader guiding us through and ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves every step of the way!

Our tour leader Grant definitely made the trip more fun and memorable and was always there to sort any problems straight away and always offering support when needed. This made the trip more enjoyable and more relaxed knowing that everything would be under control. Overall a great trip! (Apart from some monkeys stealing my glasses- which were returned slightly chewed!)

Grant helped us get all the selfies we needed with the monkeys, he really went above and beyond for the group especially during the volcano hike, motivating us to reach the top and the view was insane! Over all and unbelievable experience, intro travel is an amazing company and the tours are fabulous bali intro is one that I won't forget.

As a couple lazy beach holidays have been the norm for us, but we decided to mix things up this time so booking onto the Balintro tour was the only way.. From the moment we landed in Bali our group leader, Grant, was nothing short of fantastic. He made everyone feel at ease with himself and others, he explained the agenda for each day so all 22 people understood the activities for the day ahead, he oozed energy and charisma and managed our group impeccably from start to finish. This guy went above and beyond, even answering to any queries we had before the trip began. He had time for everyone and kept the mood high from day 1 to 12 - I literally couldn't speak highly enough of the dude.. put simply, an absolute legend! The activities included exceeded our expectations, with something for everyone including surfing in Seminyak, snorkeling with fish and turtles and bike rides in Gili T, a sunrise volcano trek and much more. I'd recommend this experience to anyone interested in travelling and meeting new people along the way. Thank you so much for making this the trip of a lifetime!

I must admit at the beginning of the trip I was a little worried as to how hectic and manic the trip seemed to be. I have never been on a trip like this before. However, I soon seemed relaxed because of our tour guide Grant.
He ensured to keep us all up to date with the plans each day whilst remaining positive and encouraging everyone to participate.
The trip was jam packed and I managed to undertake activities that I would never of participated before.
The activities were amazing and I would definitely recommend this trip to all.

I have been to Bali before for a longer duration but I wasn't close to fitting in what Balintro squeeze into 12 days. Everyday is crafted for pure enjoyment, there is always something to do or nothing…I have been to Bali before for a longer duration but I wasn't close to fitting in what Balintro squeeze into 12 days. Everyday is crafted for pure enjoyment, there is always something to do or nothing if you fancy it. It is excellent to have everything organised for you and not have to worry about a thing. I met a great bunch of people as well.
For me, the highlight of the trip was our leader, Grant. He gelled with the group on another level becoming more of a friend than a leader. He kept us informed of what was happening everyday and provided local information and recommendations for other meals. Grant was very approachable and he made sure everybody was included as a lot of people travelled by themselves and might be nervous.
I would definitely recommend Balintro to a friend and you might be luckily enough to get Grant as your leader!

I would not hesitate to book another intro tip - and am already thinking about Vietnam next year. I found that all the usual holiday stresses disappeared. For me, to have the entire trip thought out logistically - from organizing activities, restaurants and transport was an absolute treat. Grant/Graham/Gary was fab, I liked that he was able to be our friend (or maybe pretend, who knows?!) whilst remaining professional and a great laugh. His briefings were a daily highlight and we always knew where and when we were meeting and what we were doing. The group on this particular trip were brilliant and everyone seemed to gel really well which made every day so much fun. The dolphin day was probably a favorite as it was activity after activity and we manage to cram in some fantastic things! - maybe intro Bali could work on warming up the waterfall... it was definitely a bit nippy. Our last night in gili was amazing and definitely one I won't forget. Absolutely loved this trip and wish we could all do it again with grant in different locations each year! Would 100% recommend to all and everyone!!!

From the day I was met at the airport I was fully informed of everything I would be doing over the next 12 days and kept informed throughout. The activities and trips are planned to perfection and are absolutely amazing.
Seeing the dolphins and the home visit was without a doubt my favourite day as that wasn't just because of the amazing food served at the home visit (if you haven't yet tried banana fritters - oh my god you're in for a treat!)
Grant was our tour leader and I could not have asked for anyone better. He sorted out a cracked phone screen for me within 12 hours - what a hero. Grant was always on hand to answer any questions we had and nothing was ever a problem. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

The tour bus was on point. The accommodations were all amazing in their own way which created a unique atmosphere in all environments. The activities were so amazing that words and pictures cannot describe.
Grant our tour guide has had a huge influence on how I see such tours as I am a very shy and private guy, the way in which he has brought the group together and brought me out of my shell has overwhelmed me to the point of tears of joy sprouting out my eyes. He is a special individual with the most amazing people skills that I have ever seen. He is very professional, very fun and has been an absolute diamond and has set a very high standard to be reckoned with. Me and my girlfriend are planning to do the intro to Vietnam next year and I truly hope he is our tour guide as I don't think there's another person that could fill his massive shoes although he never wears them. I would like to say a big thank you to intro to Bali for employing this man as he's a true asset.

His bubbly personality and his stories were always well received and entertaining. Highlights were surfing, watching the dolphins and the home visit. Su was a perfect gentlemen and the villa was stunning. I absolutely loved Gilli T and it was so much fun. The most challenging part was the volcano trek, but it was definitely worth the pain and agony as the views were spectacular. Grant definitely made our experience one that we always remember. He's attentive charming and a top notch dude.

My favourite is difficult to choose between surfing lessons, seeing the dolphins, or just experiencing the amazing villa in lovina. The volcano trek was a really early start but definitely worth it. A view we'll never see again. All the activities and planning gone into it has been spot on but a special thanks has to go to Grant for really making it the best trip I've ever been on, I'm sure if we had a different leader it would've been a lesser trip. The home stay and basket weaving was a fantastic time and snorkelling with the turtles was amazing. There are too many great things to say about this trip and Grant himself.
