There is no better way to see Thailand! Ryan, Dave and Ben are the best. The trip is the perfect combination of scheduled events and freedom to just do your own things. The group event are really fun …There is no better way to see Thailand! Ryan, Dave and Ben are the best. The trip is the perfect combination of scheduled events and freedom to just do your own things. The group event are really fun and I recommend the Thai Boxing Class, Koh Tao Pub Crawl, and rock climbing on Railay. Traveling with Trutravels takes out all the stress of traveling and finding accommodations while still giving you the freedom to do what you want when you want!

The Thailand experience was absolutely amazing, we got to see places that we would have simply never even known about without the hassle of trying to book the correct transport. don't have a bad word …The Thailand experience was absolutely amazing, we got to see places that we would have simply never even known about without the hassle of trying to book the correct transport. don't have a bad word to say about the experience, well the overnight train was an experience, other than that i made some amazing friends from different parts of the world and loved every second. the main tour guides Ryan and Ben were brilliant and so welcoming, Dave who I met at the end of the tour was also a bit of a ledge. I recommend it to anyone, you won't regret it!

Despite some terrible weather I really enjoyed the experience! Our tour leader was Ben, and I don't think we could have had a guide more suited to the group. Unfortunately there were a couple of activities that we could not do (trip to bottle beach, boat day trip) but Ben gave us plenty of other options to fill our time.
Had a great time in Thailand did 2 trips with tru travels and was amazing

Met some of the most amazing people on this tour and had the time of my life! Cheers to Ben and Art for showing us a good time; even if it was raining the majority of the time they managed to sort out…Met some of the most amazing people on this tour and had the time of my life! Went on the full moon experience and coudlnt have been happier with how our tour leader Ben was. He was knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly made certain we had a great time. Despite bad weather much of the time, Ben still made sure we were all enjoying our selves and helped fill our days. Would have liked the company to subsides a few more of our activities and or meals due to a cancelled activities because weather, but overall a great experience and would recommend trutravels and Ben to anyone.

Although we had horrendous rain meaning some of our activities were canceled, we didn't make it to bottle beach where we were meant to be staying a night, the early accomadation was sorted by the time we got to Koh phangan which was impressive. Ben was always organised with everything he had planned with us. Accomadation was decent everywhere we were and I was never split up from my boyfriend (which I was kinda expecting). Art was so lovely and also very organised giving knowledge about everything I asked about the area/place we were in. He is such a cool guy, quiet but very funny! The taxi drivers at Echo beach were so lovely and welcoming every time we needed a ride. The whole team at Echo were fun and always smiley! to top it off the food was incredible and cheap. Ben is a great guy who knows how to party but then also knows when to be a professional tour guide. The one thing that disappointed us and other members of the group was that we had to pay for some things we did in the evening e.g Muay Thai boxing and jungle party. We thought it would have been nice if the company paid for them considering we missed a night in bottle beach and we missed the booze cruise which we had paid for within our package deal and we feel like we missed out. Other than that the whole experience with tru travels was incredible from the airport pick up to the company and the experiences. I loved every person in our try travels family and so sad that it's all over. Can definitely say I've made some friends for life. Thank you for making our first time travelling experience one to remember!

Which rubbed off on every one. When we all chilled out had drinks and talked shit through the bad weather we all really became a close family.

Great time on the Thailand Experience tour. There were plenty of activities and our tour guide, Ben, made sure everyone was happy and maintained high energy throughout.
I've seen a fair bit of the world on my travels including SE Asia over the past decade, however, Thailand had never really appealed to me before as it's one of those destinations everyone goes to and …I've seen a fair bit of the world on my travels including SE Asia over the past decade, however, Thailand had never really appealed to me before as it's one of those destinations everyone goes to and talks about. All I could ever picture in my head was a paradise full of beaches. So, I thought I'd give into the hype and see what else Thailand had to offer. As this was my first time travelling solo to a SE Asian country I decided to find a tour to hop onto for the start of my travels, and then venture out on my own after getting a feel for the place. This is always a great way of meeting some interesting like-minded people from around the world as well as seeing part of the world for myself.
After doing an online search I came across TruTravels and its itinerary for the 8 day Thailand Experience which looked like it had a good mix of things to see and do. The thing I was most excited about seeing was Khao Sok National Park, especially staying in the floating bungalows. Let's just say it did not disappoint - as with any place with breath-taking scenery, no picture will ever do it justice! It was a cool place to kayak and kick back and chill with everyone in such a remote area, as well as switching off from the rest of the world. Bottle beach was another great place to hang out at with a chilled vibe and lighting a Chinese lantern was fun. We were stranded for awhile on this secluded beach on the day we were due to leave due to the weather turning for the worse. We ended up having to wade across the river during a thunderstorm - who doesn't like a bit of adventure?! As any greatly experienced traveller will tell you, things don't always go to plan and these situations will always make for a much more interesting story to tell at the end of the day. Other than that, I also enjoyed watching the sunset at Secret mountain and getting acquainted with Bangkok at the beginning of the tour with its elaborate temples and the party scene at the all famous Khao San Road!
I've been on a few different tours with other companies before with larger groups and I would have to say it was great to hear from Ben a couple of weeks before the tour had even started and the same on arrival (made a great change to just rocking up on tour and not knowing anyone beforehand). As I was there a day before the tour, I spent it getting to know the guides Ben, Ingo and Ryan - all very personable friendly guys with high energy, was awesome to have them around - engaging with the group with lots of laughs and a care-free experience throughout Thailand. It was lovely to have a local guide from Bangkok on tour with us too - Minnie Noinah, she was good fun too and she shared some great insight about the Thai culture. It was good to get some onward travel advice from Ryan as I ended up changing my plans from staying in the south due to bad weather to going up north to Chiang Mai after the tour - was easy and straightforward enough as it's so easy to travel around Thailand. It certainly has been an incredible 20 day journey for me and have met some amazing, friendly and fun people along the way and made some new friends and memories for life!

Our guides were unbelievable, we instantly became close friends, and they truly cared about everyone in the group. They made sure everyone had the best experience possible. I will absolutely stay in touch with them and be returning to Thailand as soon as I can. I've already been recommending this tour to all my friends interested in visiting Thailand.

The tour was out of this world, (and just to confirm, I have not be paid to write this) from the beginning to the end the guides surprised us again and again showing us the most beautiful hidden places Thailand has to offer, helping meet our every need. Each day got better and better, when you thought it couldn't get more breath taking it did. The relaxed and friendly attitudes of the tour guides was reflected throughout the tour group resulting in us becoming like family in a space of day's. Bonding over delicious dinnersand drinks in Bangkok. I couldn't of asked for more friendly, funny travelling companions. The accommodation was better than expected. Travelling around was well planned and we seamlessly moved from longtail boat, to ferry to taxi to train and back again. My only regret is I had to come home at the end of an epic 18 day's!! Thailand will forever have stolen a piece of my heart.

The trip was sooooooo much more than I ever expected it to be ! I was only boooked in the 8 day tour and wishing the first 24 hours I had already made my decision to stay for the full 18 it was Awsome…The trip was sooooooo much more than I ever expected it to be ! Amy and Ben the tour guides were just incredible they are so helpful and take care of any worry you might have.all I had to do was relax and enjoy they did the rest,they took us to the coolest bars and restaurants I have ever been to in my life and know what they are doing!as a solo traveler and first time traveler I can't recommend true travels enough honestly top notch !!!!!

It is by far the most organised trip we have ever been on there was never a moment any of us waiting for transport, activities or accomodation everything is there waiting for when you arrive.
Throughout the 8 days our tour guides Amy, Ben and Mia were absolutely brilliant.
Amy and Ben were super chilled out, and made us fill right at home. Mia was always full of knowledge, she would answer any questions that the group wanted to know. If you get any of these guys as your tour guide you'd be extremely lucky. They always made sure you were having a great time and always kept us safe
Our main highlight of the 8 days was the floating bungalows at Khao Sok National Park, it is definitely somewhere everyone needs to experience. We had the most unforgettable time, and all three tour guides had a big part of that.
I would 100% recommend Tru Travels to anyone and i will definitely be back to visit them again and try somewhere else. We would like to thank Amy Ben and mia who made the tour truly special. Thankyou Tru Travels x

Drew, Ben and local Thai guide Yo led the tour and provided an amazing insight into the country, helping me experience things I'd almost certainly never have discovered by yourself which is why it provides value for money. The tour itself is very well run with plenty of great structured activities but there is flexibility to choose or do your own thing at times if you like. We covered a lot of ground in 8 days and I'm very glad I chose to go on this tour as part of my solo travels around Asia. Wholeheartedly recommend.
