She was like part of the family & she made the trip so much more fun and exciting than I ever expected. She took all the stress out of travelling alone and was so knowledgeable about every place we went. She gave so many recommendations about onward travel and gave the best advice. Honestly Lucy was amazing nothing was too much trouble! Thanks so much for a fabulous tour and I’ve put a few deposits down for the next ones can’t wait!

Lucy was a fantastic tour guide! Loved every second of being in Thailand. Very well organised trip, no hassle and flowed very easily. It was a GREAT trip! My tour guide, Lucy, was energetic, passionate, and able to feel out the needs of the group. Mornings after we drank a bit too much (ha!), Lucy was ready with some powdered electr…It was a GREAT trip! Mornings after we drank a bit too much (ha!), Lucy was ready with some powdered electrolytes to aid in our recovery.
The itinerary was great, with space for lounging by the pool or walking into town to check out local shopping stalls, and had space for our transfers between locations. We saw a bit of Bangkok, got to experience an overnight train (not as glamorous as it sounds, but definitely something to experience), saw a beautiful national park, and enjoyed the sandy beaches and viewpoints of Thailand.
Overall, the trip was a lot of fun, with a mixed group of people from a variety of countries, ages, and backgrounds.

I had contacts details for Lucy before arrival and full information about everything that I would need to know, access to an app, a Facebook group and a full itinerary (including what meals were included when on what days) which gave me so much peace of mind as a solo traveller for the first time.
The itinerary is the perfect mix of culture, exploration, adventure and relaxation. I have throughly loved having Lucy as a tour guide and I am honoured to have bee a part of her farewell Thailand tour before she takes a break. She has been so much fun and an incredible laugh but also the best first aid nurse ever for anyone that's been a tad clumsy.
Lucy also helped to book our onward travel and they in fact have time scheduled in on the itinerary to help us get everything sorted, getting us the best deals in the coolest places. Thank you so much to Intro Travel and Lucy!!! Can't wait to do some other tours with you guys soon!

Had a fabulous time! Good to see things that I wouldn’t have myself and felt in very good hands from pick up to drop off. Really helpful with onward travel too!

Absolutely loved the tour. It was so nice having Lucy who sorted all of our transport and accommodation making the whole experience so easy and relaxing for us. I had been looking at this your for like three years... Mainly because of the itinerary and all of the inclusions, but Lucy truly made this trip great! Accommodation and choice of food from restaurant menu was great. Trips were all excellent and got you up close to real like of Thai culture. Ive done many trips and this has been by far the best.

From the moment we stepped out of immigration at Bangkok Airport, your in good hands with our fantastic guide Lucy, who’s been with us every step of the way through to Phuket. As the stress of travelling is completely taken away by Intro Travel & Lucy who has been hard at work organising all our activities and transport, I can just relax and have a fantastic time with a group of similar people.
Additionally letting Intro Travel know about my many food allergies has been really good as Lucy was able to let the restaurants know in advance for me, and help me actually try the local cuisine without any worry (which I for sure wouldn’t be able to do if travelling alone). If you have any dietary requirements do book with Intro Travel as they will be able to help you for your meals.
If you are worried about travelling, or are a seasoned traveller 100% you need to book on this tour if you want to get a real taste of Thailand in 2 epic weeks jam packed of amazing & unique activities.
It was pretty good, Lucy managed pretty well the group, in overall the group as good as well.

The accommodation was amazing from start to finish, the highlight for me was the floating bungalows. This is the kind of trip that I have wanted to do for years and I’m glad I have finally done it, the whole group gelled really well and Lucy was always quick to entertain if ever there was a flat moment. Lucy was full of energy, she is very outgoing and can certainly belt out Disney songs. A natural entertainer - she gels really well with many people!
Lucy made a fab first impression and brought the group together on our first fun packed night in Bangkok. It was awesome. I also think she did brilliantly at taking care of a group member who got injured early doors, throughout the trip - kudos for that!
I am sure we all have different highlights from the trip, in fact there are so many it’s hard to choose! I think my big hitters were ....arriving at the floating bungalows - what a setting; wow! I mean...paddling out into the open water on a kayak was bliss. I need that in my life again already.
I also enjoyed cocktails at the treehouses and going on the dingy along the river whilst staying in the national park, it was a nice bumpy ride and a bit of a giggle! (Though just to manage expectations, it’s unlikely you will go tubing due to water levels here so don’t get too excited about that! )...at this point in the trip with the one night stays it flys by so soak it up! I really liked the treehouses, I know they were dark and lacking air con - but They were really in the thick of it, and I had a waterfall shower and rather large balcony - connected to the girls next door, so I was a very happy lady!
Moving on from that - of course like many others - phi phi beaches were amazing just what you picture when you think of thailand! I thought Whitney was ace too and was fab to chat to, a really relaxed day and some cool surprises along the way (which I won’t spoil).
It felt like there was plenty of time on/ in the water on Phi Phi which made me happy too! Being on a boat under the stars and swimming amongst luminescent plancton, were totally amazing experiences.
The trip was well topped off with a final day visiting the elephants at Phuket! For any other worriers, I felt assured that it was a very ethical sanctuary and really loved having the opportunity to see them so up close, phenomenal experience.
To balance my view and explain why 4 and not 5....The accommodation was a little mixed, all fine but variable in terms of standard.
I felt sometimes when things got pressured or unclear for the guide it did naturally filter down the chain a little. I wasn’t overjoyed at getting a bit of a tone for arriving 10 minutes early (not late) at the treehouses... it soon blew over after a bit of clarification that the whole group had the wrong time. But it was a pretty abrupt departure.
Plus, at times there were elements ....particularly the presentation around future trips but also some of the self-paid meals, which may have worked better as optional, like the majority of day 1 at koh Phangan. but that’s just personal preference! Everyone will have their own highlights and recommendations.
I was delighted with my trip, hats off to Lucy and I would consider another intro experience for sure.

But it was just an unnecessarily abrupt departure.

I've just had an amazing trip to Thailand! Would do it again in a heartbeat. I can't imagine having a better tour guide than Lucy - she was awesome! From the minute I arrived in Bangkok to when I depa…I've just had an amazing trip to Thailand! Would do it again in a heartbeat. I can't imagine having a better tour guide than Lucy - she was awesome! From the minute I arrived in Bangkok to when I departed she was fantastic. My transfer was late picking me up from the airport on arrival but Lucy was quick to reassure me and made sure I got to the hotel all fine. Throughout the trip she was constantly attentive to our needs and also arranged a few extras as well such as a visit to a skybar in Bangkok on the first night, fireshow, speedboat trip, VIP at the Full Moon party, monkey beach and many more! This was Lucy's first Thai experience trip however you wouldn't think it as she was always so professional, organised and friendly. This was a trip of a lifetime and it was all thanks to Lucy!

(We had been advised that breakfast was optional so I didn’t come 40 minutes early, as I mostly skip breakfast anyway).... it soon blew over after a bit of clarification that the whole group had the wrong time. I had a fantastic time on Thai Experience. I was quite nervous as hadn't travelled alone for nearly 10 years, however the second I met Lucy at the airport I was immediately put at ease. I was quite nervous as hadn't travelled alone for nearly 10 years, however the second I met Lucy at the airport I was immediately put at ease. It was her first time leading Thai Experience and she was extremely personable as well as being professional and knowledgeable. She was also good in a crisis, as being clumsy I managed to injure myself half way through & needed daily trips to hospitals/clinics and Lucy was fantastic at sorting this for me and ensuring I could still make the most of my trip.
Personally my favourite parts were the national park, Phi Phi and the elephant sanctuary in Phuket. The hotel in Phuket is amazing and by far the best of the trip and its nice to finish the trip in luxury.
Lucy is a true asset to introtravel and would be the perfect example of a good leader to any other aspiring leader. It was also very impressive that this was actually her first time doing the Thai experience tour and solving many problems due to very poor communication from the phi phi tour leader Whitney.
Adam who was with us for a day or two could do with some work on his customer facing attitude and skill as he comes across very arrogant which I’m sure must be unintentional. Maybe some time for him to sit down with Lucy would be appropriate so he could learn a thing or two from her.
All in all a very good tour and would suggest it to my friends. The only thing I would suggest is there is no aircon in the jungle accommodations which for a Thai experience tour came to be quite a shock as there was aircon at all locations on Bali intro!

Lucy is a true asset to Introtravel and has led our group incredibly well through our two week tour and it’s her first time for Thai experience which makes it even more impressive

I did the 12 day trip with Lucy as my tour leader. It has easily been the best foreign travel experience of my life. Future trips will only be handled by a tour company like this one.

The Thai intro trip has been amazing from start to end. All the activities and destinations were so good and I definitely wouldn’t of found the secret spots without coming on the tour, like Khao Sok N…The Thai intro trip has been amazing from start to end. We’ve been so lucky with the weather which made the experience even better. Lucy knows everything and anything, from the fun elephant facts to the back street cooking class, she’s been so lovely, funny and so positive the whole way. After the long flight, being greeted by such a happy, smiling face - I knew right away Lucy was going to make this trip amazing. She was our tour guide and I honestly don’t think this trip would’ve been what it was without her. She made everything fun, included everyone, was always so helpful and knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions or concerns we had. She said at the beginning of the trip we wouldn’t need to stress about anything, and she was right. Not only was she THE BEST tour guide, she truly became a friend - along with the countless other wonderful people we met along this trip. This was the best, most adventurous, yet relaxing trip I’ve ever been on. Each new place and accomdation was more picturesque than the one before. From the busy Bangkok nightlife, the sleepover style overnight train, to the STUNNING national park and floating bungalows, and finishing up at the beautiful Koh Phangan bungalows, this trip is worth the money for the views alone; the memories made and irreplacable time had was all just a massive bonus. I will be recommending this trip to anyone and everyone, over and over again. The accommodations, night life, day trips, beaches, fun group activities, and everything in between made it a very hard trip to beat. I look forward to future travels with intro travel!!

We jumped on this trip for our anniversary trip and met many amazing people from all over the world. We got to experience The city life in Bangkok, leisure life in the National Park, and got to be beach bums on the islands. We had constant guidance from our AMAZING leader, Lucy, who was SO helpful and knowledgeable. She kept us well-informed and entertained the entire time. I LOVED not having to put any thought into booking anything. From the time we arrived at the airport, everything was preplanned and we just had to show up at the assigned times. Perfect thoughtless getaway. We had a great balance of action packed days and chill out days where we had a bit of freedom to do what we wanted as well as some crazy party nights. We had the BEST photo ops. From island hoping to the private cooking class and and sleeping in overnight floating bungalows, I don’t think there is any way we would have figured it out as efficiently (or at all) by ourselves. I literally felt as though I was spending every day in paradise. We were so impressed with this trip that we actually already put deposits down for Bali and Vietnam Intro. Can not recommend enough. Loved every single minute of it.

During my experience I have had the time of my life. Can’t put into words how much this trip has opened my eyes to so many things. I already have so many memory’s that will be with me forever more. I would defiantly recommend this trip to anyone wishing to do thuhis.
Lucy as a tour guide. I know she hasn’t been doing this long but it feels like she’s been doing it for years. She is a really good people person and is really good at communicating with the group. She knows when to get involved to make sure everyone has a great time. Lucy also makes us aware of everyone’s health and welfare before taking part in any activities through her group talks that she rocks at.

From the get go I was well informed and looked after preparing me for my travel and all onward journeys. 8 days in now and i've had such a fantastic time with all the people on the tour and didn't once feel like i was being herded by tour guides, in fact our tour guide has been fantastic especially when she gets involved.
I've now booked on the tour for a further 3 days and put a deposit down for a further 2 tours in the future.
This is all down to the fantastic time i've had and most importantly...down to the fact Lucy told me a really sick joke.

I selected to do the 12-day Thai Intro tour with a friend of mine for fear of being alone, although it soon became very clear that an individual traveling solo would be perfectly at home.
The tour itself is organized down to a tee, striking the perfect balance between down-time and go-time. A big concern of mine was the idea that a tour would be exhausting and jam-packed however not once did I feel the need to have an afternoon nap- I just slept very well at night!!
Our tour guides, Lucy and Josh, really enhanced the experience of this trip. Although both remained professional at all times, the fun never stopped and I feel that I’ve found two new friends.
I love how passionate Josh is about his job; always singing and mucking about to make us laugh! I will never be able to listen to Ed Sheeran again without thinking of Josh’s awful singing skills!! His energy is infectious and really seemed to motivate the group- all 28 of us!!
I don’t think I once saw Lucy without a smile on her face. It really didn’t matter to Lucy who you were or where you came from, as long as you were in her company, she would go out of her way to ensure you were having the best time possible. I thoroughly enjoyed having Lucy around; the tour wouldn’t be the same without her. She is the life of the party!
Every person on this tour started as a stranger, became a friend, and I now consider family.
My personal favourite day was the overnight stay in Khao Sok National Park, and I absolutely loved the Thai cooking class! The nights out I’m sure were great. I can’t remember too much ;) I will be back for another tour as soon as I can, and will personally request to have either Lucy and Josh as my tour guide again!

As well as the experience with the elephants is one that is so humbling and a mindblowing experience.

The trip was planned so so well and contained a great balance of activities to enjoy and give you a true feel of Thai life as well as chilled out days to recover, and take in everything that you’d learned and witnessed. The large variety of activities provided something for everyone and I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed them all.
Despite not being anything like home, I soon adjusted to the style of accommodation offered on the Thai Intro trip. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury it isn’t necessarily the trip for you however, I was expecting worse from the accommodation. The Sarana bungalows are absolutely stunning and are a very welcomed little paradise at the end of the 9 day tour.
Now onto the highlight, Josh and Lucy made the tour. So welcoming, so friendly and together they made the best pair to give you the best experience of Thailand I could have wished for. I feel incredibly lucky to not only have taken part in one of the best tours in the world, but to have such great leaders really was the icing on the cake!

As a very busy young professional, I had NO time to research and properly plan a 9 day trip but Into Travel made everything SO easy. The itinerary was PERFECT and I would not make a single change. Josh and Lucy were my group leaders and they were phenomenal. Josh is probably the funniest person I’ve ever met and was NEVER a dull moment. Lucy picked me up from the airport when I arrived and their was an instant connection between us. I loved that they were our "leaders" but interacted with us like best friends. No words can describe how much I’ve been changed from this experience or how Lucy and Josh have touched my heart.

The Thai intro was deffo more relaxed than Vietnam with less time travelling, more time to ourselves & longer stays in each destination. We had such amazing weather with only one miserable rainy day! So that was lucky! My favourite part of the trip has got to of been the elephant day! It’s such an amazing experience to be so up close to the elephants and the amazing photos we got to take hugging and kissing them too!
Our group leader Lucy has a lovely personality and spent lots of time catching up with us all and getting to know us. She collected us from the airport and got us settled in nicely in Bangkok. She was very clued up in everything you would need to know while travelling around Thailand and she helped us out whenever we needed. She made sure all our onward travel was sorted so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Lucy also really knows how to party & her dance moves are epic! So if you’re into partying you won’t fail to have a good time!
This is my second time to Thailand and I got to see a lot more different things and experience it in a different way with a group full of lots of different personalities & lovely people! Couples & friends! It’s been so nice getting to know every one and sharing the experience.

I was travelling as a solo traveler for the first time and was quite unsure how it's all gonna turn out but my fears were all for nothing... i have met an amazing group of people which will I will stay friends for my whole life...Intro Tavel has really helped me with my onward travel plans which i have not yet organised till the moment i started the tour...The other thing which i highly appreciate Intro travel is because at first I was supposed to do Bali Intro but then my flights was canceled so there was no way to get to Bali by time..and the let me change my Bali Intro Tour for Thai intro without having to pay any extra money.... You cover quite a bit of Thailand in this tour, have enough time to relax but still have loads if activities a the same time... our group leader was Lucy who is just super helpful, full of energy and the best guide you can possibly get. Than you Lucy and Thaintro for an unforgettable experience!!!

Lucy (our tour guide) was simply outstanding, her enthusiasm for her work is very infectious. She made the trip, she really did. The tour allows you to experience places that would never have entered my brain if I was to do this by my own planning. The stress of it all is just magically taken away and its 100% stress free. My personal highlight was the national park as it is a pace that very few people do/ are able to experience whilst in Thailand. Jess went above and beyond to assure we were all safe whether we were on trips together or going on our own for the day. She gave us the instructions for the day either the night before or the morning of which made it easier for us to remember what we needed to do and what we needed to bring for the day. They also helped us plan and arrange our travel and stay beyond our tour. They were in contact with us before our actual traveling day which made us more relaxed on what to expect. The trip was so good that we already put our deposit down for our next trip with Intro Travel to Bali. Thanks Intro Travel for a great vacation and a great experience.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing these two girls are and I will certainly miss them as I had on to my last 3days of the tour. The tour itself covered off everything I would have wanted to do in Thailand and was so relaxed (didn’t have to organize a thing just had to turn up ) and nothing was a drama ! Thanks to our awesome tour guide. Fav part would be the name national park and the beach party (first one ) and the elephants! It’s hard to pick a highlight of the trip as this was such a lifechanging experience, but it I had to pick I would say it would be Khao Sok National Park, where there’s no servic and many lizards, but amazing cliffs and alcohol while hanging out in a tube or kayak. Another highlight would also be elephants, I cried! Shout out to our tour guides Jess and Lucy, and can’t forget Dave, Rosy, and Steve (the Sarana animals) who all just made this experience the best thing ever. I would have gotten lost in Khao Sok otherwise lol.

Jess and Lucy were our tour leaders and they have been fantastic took all the worry away and helped saved my foot when I fell!
My overall favourite part was spending time with elephants feeding and washing them. Just amazing! I would highly recommend hardly needed to spend a penny and made some amazing memory I'll never forget.

The accomodation were all to a good standard for the price of the trip, they were clean and comfortable for the short amount of time you spend in your rooms. The floating bungalows is one I will especially never forget. Transport is a very different (but all part of the experience!). The tuk tuk is my personal favourite.
I'm really glad I chose to do my tour with Intro Travel, you will never be short of new things to try and will make memories that will last a lifetime!

But at the same time, if you ever needed to know anything or had any problems, they were there to dig you out of trouble. I wasnt too sure what to expect before booking this in honesty, but I made true friends and am so glad that I did it! Would highly recommend.
