Achieved so much and lots of activities packed in! The trek up Mount Batur is something that will stay with me a long time, especially as I got to see Agung billowing in the background! Gili was fantastic too, worried it was too overhyped but more than lived up to expectations. Had a great group of over 20, so there was always someone different to talk to and hang around with each day.

I loved this trip through Bali! There was an amazing mix of experiences which made me feel like i was able to see almost all of the region without feeling like we were rushing from one thing to the ne…I loved this trip through Bali! Our tour guide, Alissa was fantastic- she was familiar with everywhere we went so was able to answer my questions we had and was so friendly and enthusiastic!! My favourite day was when we went dolphin spotting and to the local family’s house. We saw so many dolphins and i loved being on the boat! The local family was so lovely and gave us some insight into their lives! The lunch that they cooked us was also my favourite meal of the trip! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a well-rounded experience of Bali!

I had two great group leaders for the majority of my trip: Alissa and Dan. They both felt like friends with lots of helpful advice and plenty of laughs. Dan was very approachable and forever had us laughing and Alissa was honestly amazing at settling any nerves and always there for that extra bit of encouragement and support when it was needed most (particularly climbing the volcano). The accommodation we stayed in throughout our trip was so much better than I ever thought it’d be and the private villa was something else! (Amazing!) Transport was made great by a fab group. We had plenty of music and things to talk about, as well as getting educated by our group leaders; particularly Alissa who knows so much about Indonesian and Balinese culture. We came to Bali in rainy season and despite one really wet day, the weather was honestly amazing; and as for the sunrises and sunsets - let’s just say they really are worth it! All the trips were amazing and it was nice to have a local guide for a lot of them. You could really tell they were passionate about their job; particularly when touring the Temples. Our afternoon at the Home Stay was incredible; it really felt like we were mixing with the local community and I had the best Indonesian food I’ve ever eaten there. However I think my favourite has to be snorkelling - considering I’d never snorkelled properly before, Alissa soon helped me in being able to do it properly and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life thus far.

Both keep you upbeat and happy and super organised, plus Alissa is an amazing twerker - always bringing the moves on nights out! All the accommodation has been lovely, with cute little guest houses and the villa in lovina was beautiful!! It has been lovely staying with both my friend who i'm travelling with but also another girl in the group for some of the locations - was lovely to get to know new faces. Thank you Bali intro, you have been a treat!

Both of our leaders bought separate energies to the group and bounced off each other so that we had the fullest experience. All in all I enjoyed everything about this trip and am so glad I chose to do it, even by myself. I was sharing rooms with different people each time which was lovely and I was able to get to know people better; also the group leaders look out and listen to what will make your trip better for you. For the price we paid I feel like we got a great deal on seeing some of The most amazing things! I got one of the best experiences I have ever chosen to do purely because our guides were so knowledgable and really paid attention to details and could answer almost all of the questions I had to answer! I had a really amazing time!!

We experienced a lot of amazing experiences that I will remember for ever! Seeing the dolphins, monkeys and turtles all in their natural surrounds and not being interferes with by us tourists or staff hardly at all! The tour guides for the temples were brilliant, full of knowledge and good fun! As were the helpers on all activities inc. the boats, the volcano trek and home stay. There was a lot included for the price that we paid I feel.

For me there was the right balance of activities and free time and it was great that all the activities are included in the price of the tour. I think the price of the tour was very good value for money. The accommodation was all really nice and luxurious - especially the villa. Alissa was great! She was very knowledgeable about Bali and the culture. She helped me a lot with my onward travel also and gave me lots of recommendations of places to visit after the tour and how to get there etc. She was also really good at getting us involved in everything throughout the tour and encouraging us to get the most out of our experience.

She also really helped me with my onward travel and gave me great recommendations of places to visit after the tour. She is one of the best group leaders I've had compared to other tours I've done.

Accommodation was excellent, except in Kuta which was a little average, but the rest of the places made up for it. Only down side was the food selection as the tour tries to accommodate for both those with western taste and those wanting to eat indonesian. My suggestion would be for those wanting more authentic and adventurous eats is to make the most of your free time by trying top notch local food then.

- Visiting a local Balinese family. They make the most fantastic food and show you around their land where they grow their produce.
- The Villa. I won’t say much... just wait and see!
- Gili T. Snorkling right alongside Turtles (incredible!!) and sampling the fun nightlife (which can get crazy!)
- Stay in Ubud. By far the favourite city due to the look and feel of the place, but also there are so many great places to eat and drink along with visits to the markets and monkey forest!
What helped make the trip though was our guide Alissa!!.m She made sure everything was in place for whatever was required and always ensured that we were ok and were making the most of our time with reccomendations of visits or further activities to do in our spare time. When in Ubud I personally went and got a blessing at a temple (which Alissa organised)...100% worth it!! Alissa will also help with onward travel and using her knowledge and experiemce of bali, should you be staying longer than the trip, she will let you know the best places to visit no matter what you want to do! Such a wicked leader and top person... thanks Alissa!!
10/10 - would recommend this trip.

Everything you get to do everyday on this trip creates great memories and you do things you wouldn’t do if not on this tour such as the volcano trek up Mount Batur. The accommodation was incredibale the whole time, such beautiful places. Our tour guide Alissa was amazing and really made the trip, great fun and always there if you want some help! I would recommend this trip to anyone as the value for money is insane!!

Alissa was an amazing guide, I feel her positive energy shon through the group every day and kept our spirits up and the morale high. Since day one I was made to feel comfortable and I think our group dynamic was so good because we had her as a leader. Alissa felt more like a friend than a group leader she was always happy and energetic never came across 'teacher' like which is what i expected before coming on the tour. She has been more than helpful and made most of my trip.

Eeverything was super organized and planned but not too strong so we had always enough leisure. Alissa was the best tour guide I could have wished for.
She always knew where there were exciting places and where you should take more care.
She also had great relationships with locals, hosts and staff. The trip was well organised with enough time spent on each activity and at each location.
Alissa made this trip even better because of her attitude, she was always taking care of us and teaching us how to “survive” here.
Alissa made my trip so much more enjoyable because she was so easy to get along with and made a connection with everyone.
My highlight was the day which involved the dolphin spotting, snorkelling and home visit.
Thanks to her, I got my first tattoo on gili.

Alissa was a fantastic tour guide as she showed that she really knows her stuff about Bali and all the local customs. Bu the end I considered Alissa a friend who has vast knowledge and experience in her field and made the trip not only a fun one, but gave us meaning behind each activity we did. Alissas close and friendly nature toward the locals warmed my heart on many occasions and often left me with a tear in my eye as I saw the love and respect they shared for her. The activities we did each day were fun and adventurous and gave everyone a sense of belonging within the group. By the end, we were all firm friends and I had genuine sadness saying goodbye to everyone! Thanks to Alissa for being a wonderful mentor, free sprint, knowledgable guide and for bringing our group together so wonderfully, whilst always ensuring our safety and well being

I thought we would be in crappy hostels but we were in lovely clean hotels, a villa and an Irish bar! Normally going away we have problems with food as we are all nut allergy sufferers but as we told the company when we booked they made sure we didn't miss out on traditional foods as it has been previously arranged for us by them, so no stress for us. Last but not least, our tour guide Allisa was amazing, she made our time here so stress free and just amazing and I hope to keep in contact with her. Also Grant was great fun for the few days he joined us and made us feel welcome at the airport. Definitely recommend this tour to others. :-) Thanks Balintro!!

I wouldn't of done half the activities if i was travelling on my own so doing the tour was 100% worthwhile. All the transportation was great. The drivers made us feel welcome and we had the tunes on most journeys so they flew by. I was really shocked by the quality of the accommodation. I hadn't expected to be staying in such nice hotels which was a nice surprise when we got to them. Alissa was a great tour guide. she was so informative and good fun to be around. she was easy to talk to and motivational when we needed some support. overall, the trip was a great experience and i will definitely be using Intro travel in the future.

It is so hard to pick a specific highlight of the tour, but visiting Gili T and the Balinese family resonated with me. I will never forget searching for dolphins and swimming with turtles also. Our guide Alyssa was great you could find her at any point (most of the time she's getting stuck in with everyone anyway), it's more like traveling with a buddy that knows what there doing rather than a "tour guide". She introduces you to other tour guides if there around and everyone's chills out and party's together. Enough freedom to do what your want wether you wanna go explor on your own or do stuff with the group round the pool, you can't get bored..... Unless YOUR boring!!

Everything on the trip was seamless: from the travel down to all the accommodation - having it all sorted for us made the trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. However, what made this trip so memorable was having Alissa and the rest of the group with me! Alissa made the trip so much fun and was always there to answer all of our questions and give us fab food recommendations - she really made a huge positive impact on the trip. As soon as I saw the brown beachy dolphin whisperer I knew it was gonna be the sickest trip of my life. I have learnt so much and ticked off my whole bucket list; climbing up a live volcano, watching Dolphins do 360 spins and surfed in a fat Balinese wave and SOO much more. Alissa was not only a best pal but the most helpful and insane tour guide.

Highlight of the trip was Lovina - beautiful accomodation and the wild dolphin boat tour was just incredible! Transportation was a bit sketchy at times - balinese roads are insane and the drivers even more so but we were always put at ease by our tour guide who reassured us that the drivers were very experienced and would ask them to slow down if we weren't comfortable. I had an amazing group who made the trip what it was! Alissa our guide was great, very knowledgeable about Bali and its culture and always there to give a helping hand. She helped me organise a dive trip in gili T (also a highlight would highly recommend) sorted out our transportation to the airport and is also providing me with information for a possible return trip to complete my dive master qualifications! I would most definitely recommend booking balintro! Tip - dont go too hard in kuta the day before surfing! Surfing + hangover = no fun!

Being cheap I had expected simple lodging and transport, but we were lodged into nice hotels and a villa, drove around in minivans and traveled with fast ferries instead of the local…This tour rocked! Favorite parts must be spotting dolphins, turtles and monkeys, biking, snorkling and of course the guide, Alissa, who was the best tour guide I have ever had. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, both solo and company travellers. I went as part of a trio of females but left with 20 new friends. The tour was jam packed with great adventures and exciting sights. The best day in my opinion was the 4.5 hour journey from Caangu to Lovina. The lenght of thr trip was broken down into segments of temples, rice paddies, and a spectacular waterfall. Another fullfilling day was a visit to a local family who opened their home to us with excellent food and basket weaving skills even though we were quite shocking.
To top it all off the group we had was amazing. Shout out to roomate Pauline for putting up with me for 2 weeks. Shout out to the rest of the squad. The boys Tony, Boun, Aaron, Lukas. And the Galss. Alissa, Alice, Cassie, Alex, Hannah, Christie, Cindy, Tash.

I have just got back from Balintro with the Ubud extension and I cannot describe how awesome this tour is. It's the perfect blend of cultural, active and chilled activities with a good balance with free time for exploring on your own or with friends. I particularly enjoyed the dolphin spotting and the home stay. The tour takes you pretty much every where you would want to go in Bali and the Gilis and there is the option to extend to Ubud for an extra 3 days after the Gili islands. The accommodation on the whole is insane (particularly the villa in Lovina) - this is definitely on the more luxury end of a backpacking tour. The best thing about this trip is definitely the group leader. Alissa was not only knowledgable and informative, giving us a fantastic introduction to Balinese life, but was became part of our group. Her energy and humour kept us going through the busy schedule (and a few hangovers!). She really becomes more of a friend on the tour, doing anything she can to make sure you have the best experience in Bali. Book this tour if you want to experience Bali in style!

Our tour guide was the best because she was so chill when we went our for drinks but still had the whole crowd under control. We could always go and ask her stuff even tough she probably had told us the details already a hundred times. She was more like a friend on the tour rather than our guide.

Firstly this trip was so much more than I expected it to be.. I have never done anything like this and was a bit nervous to meet everyone but I was welcomed at the airport by Alissa and her massive smile and immediately felt relaxed - since then Alissa has came to be so much more than just our guide and I'm sure everyone on the trip will agree with that too, she's just the super cool organised member of the group and friend which meant that I didn't have to think about anything other than enjoying myself, which certainly came easily. From visiting temples, surfing, scuba diving, having monkeys climb all over me and climbing a volcano to watch the most beautiful sunrise ever to weaving baskets with local Balinese people and learning about their culture; each day surprisingly got better and better which a lot of us didn't think could be possible after having such amazing days. It's hard to put my finger on the best part of the trip but I may have to say scuba diving on Gili T as it's inspired me to go and do a diving course when back home! I don't know what other groups are like on these tours but every single person in our group is incredible and have made a lot of friends I'll be seeing again after - Bintang 2016 signing out.

It is extremely good value for money, and ideal for an effortless way to travel and see Bali. The trip would not have been anywhere near as good without our enthusiastic and totally awesome tour guide. Her approachable and friendly personality really made everybody bond together as a group. If anything she felt just like one of us, but at the same time her knowledge and information about all the places we visited was extremely helpful. They're not really my cup of tea as I feel the place you visit becomes more of a backdrop while you do all the touristy things with a bunch of foreigners never really diving into the place you're visiting. This tour though - was made by our fantastically funny group, the way in which Bali's heat and water permeate every day, and of course Alissa, our fantastic tour guide.
The friends I've made here really counted for something as we used transit opportunities to enter temples of our own accord. We used free time to order our favourite beer of all time - the Bintang - and interact with locals and foreigners alike. We found the magic of Bali, and I don't think that would be possible with anyone else. Our fun loving guide that is hugged and greeted by the local Balinese, normally a very untouchy culture really involved us in this magical experience. Really, the itenary doesn't matter a jot because each event just blurs into a kaleidoscopic timeline of laughter and joy spurred on entirely by a guide that never stops smiling and a group of friends that knows how to have fun with everything. I am blessed to have gone on this trip, especially with the people I've been with.

As a single traveler moving around a lot and joining tours with various companies, I found this tour offered a really good balance between sightseeing and cultural activities and enjoying the nightlife on offer. All of the accommodation on the tour was of a really good standard - far superior to the accommodation on tours I've done with other companies. Transportation was a little basic and uncomfortable at times, but that is really the only negative I have from the whole experience. The best bit about the tour has to be Alissa; I couldn't have asked for a better leader! She's friendly, approachable and enthusiastic and really knowledgeable about the places she takes us. She did really well to make us all feel comfortable and included and she managed to take care of us whilst still managing to feel like a friend rather than our mother! So, all in all, Balintro has been really amazing and I'd definitely consider other Intro Travel tours in the future. Just want to finish with saying thank you to Alissa - you were awesome and made this such a great experience!!!

I booked 3 weeks before goin on holiday and Alissa made sure that everything was organised for us so all that was left to do was drink, meet new friends and have an excellent time.
The hotels/private villa were excellent but what makes the trip is all the different excursions. They include: snorkeling, diving with turtles, bike rides, going out in different places, visiting temples and interacting with a Balinese family.
Anyway, anyone who like me travelled alone and wanted to do something amazing, look no further!

With the tour you do so many different things that you can see a lot from Bali. The tour guide was great as well. She wasn't like a tour guide she was like a friend. She helped everyone If someone had a problem, looked for everybody so good, took care, everything. You couldn't have a unbelievable time with her and the group as well. Even we were 20 girls and 1 boy but we had so much fun together. Unforgettable.

We have seen the main highlights of Bali, nothing went wrong, the whole setup of the group is good as it has not as many traveling time as some tours do, maybe also because Bali is not a huge island but this allows some chil out time between busy days. Everything has been great from accommodation to restaurant to transportation. Our tour guide Alissa has been very good with us both taking care of us and having a lot of fun with us which is good :)

Each of the days are full of exciting activities and there wasn't one day I would have changed. I loved every single day, but now I have to choose the top two, it would be spending the afternoon with a Balinese family at the local homestay and the day of snorkeling having the chance to swim with sea turtles and beautiful fish. My favourite island to visit was ubud. I loved the town, the hotel and the people. The food is also amazing thoughout the entire tour

Bali intro was an incredible experience and one very far removed from your usual solo backpacking trips a) because of the incredible and unique experiences included within your package, and b) because…Bali intro was an incredible experience and one very far removed from your usual solo backpacking trips a) because of the incredible and unique experiences included within your package, and b) because of the places you stay. My personal favorite was the private villa in Lovina but all of the accommodation was to a great standard have lovely pools and are in a great location.
As for the activities the ones that are included are all fantastic, from searching for Wild dophins and turtles, to learning about coffee and the local agriculture at the beautiful Balinese homestay. There is also the option to add extra activities onto your trip such as paddle boarding (so much fun!) and scuba diving on Gili T (which has some of the best marine diversity I have ever seen!). Just say yes to any experience you can afford. You won't regret it and it will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
Without a doubt though, genuinely the person that made my trip was our guide Alissa. No job was too big or too small for her, her continual enthusiasm and positivity was infectious, and she was always there to provide top tips (especially on food to order!!) and a huge smile!! My trip certainly wouldn't have been the same without her, how she continued to keep 20 girls (and one guy) in check was incredible. She is an absolute asset to the company, and hopefully a diving friend for a very long time!!!
If you are unsure whether Bali intro is for you I would suggest just go for it, you experience things you never thought possible (climbing to the top of an active volcano for sunrise was a pinch yourself moment I will never forget that's for sure) and make heaps of friends in the process!!! The whole tour is well organised, includes a range of activities and caters for everyone. Traveling alone for the first time was a worry but with Balintro there was nothing to worry about! A few of my highlights were searching for Dolphins, snorkeling around Gili T, visiting a Balinese family home and having fun with the group on nights out! I had an amazing group to experience the tour with and this was all made even better by our tour leader Alissa. Alissa was continually positive and enthusiastic about everything we did. Nobody felt pressured to do anything they didn't feel comfortable doing and she put a smile on everyone's faces each day. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more helpful person to lead our group around Bali. Of all the trips I have done, this has been by far the best! It's the perfect balance of culture, beaches, nights out and physical activities. Thank you Alissa and Balintro!

Alissa was the best tour leader I've ever had; she was always enthusiastic, friendly and made all of us feel so comfortable from the moment we landed. She made sure every one of us had a great time and knew all of the best places to eat/party/dive/paddle board etc. and she supported us all the way through the trip (especially during the volcano hike).
The tour provided the perfect balance of activities, nightlife and time to relax and soak up the sun. I honestly can't believe how much we managed to fit in, but the highlights for me were dolphin spotting, swimming with sea turtles and the home visit - it was great to soak in some Indonesian culture.
The accommodation was all well-suited to the tour but the best spot had to be Bali Intro's private villa, it was amazing. It would have been great to spend an extra day or two there and Eugene the floating Unicorn was an excellent surprise guest - he just needs some partners in floating crime now...
Thanks for an amazing tour, Alissa, and thank you for being our own personal paparazzi, I can't wait to see the video and spend hours showing off the fortnight's pictures with my friends and family.

When we arrived in Bali a friendly driver was already waiting for us. Our tour guide Alissa welcomed us personally when we got to our first hotel in Kuta although we where there much later than expected. The whole time she helped us, gave us all the information we needed. She is really excellent in what she is doing. On the one hand she is very organized and professional, on the other hand she quickly turned to a friend of us so that it was fun sharing time with here and just enjoying our trip with her together. The trips we made where also great. Especially I liked the snorkeling, the dolphin watching and visiting the Balinese family. I'm not so much into visiting temples, but that's my personal taste. The hotels in Canggu and Gili T were good. The villa in Lovina was amazing. The hotel in Kuta was only ok, because it smelled really bad in the bathroom. One of my highlight spot was Lovina with the villa (such a beautiful accomodation with a great view and a really nice owner!), the dolphins and the homestay (very delicious food and traditional ginger-lemongrass tea!). Another highlight was Ubud with the monkey forest, another really beautiful accomodation and last but not least the volcano-trip (believe your guide, it is quite cold up there!;) ). The accommodation is amazing, the most people you'll have in a hotel room is 3 and the villa owned by intro travel is out of this world. There's a lot of early mornings so you need a bit of stamina, but you'll be glad you've made the most of the day once you realise what you've covered in such a short space of time. Our group leader Alissa has completely excelled herself in being a tour guide & group leader. She is an absolute credit to the company. Alissa was clear every day with everything we needed to do, bring and what time we needed to ready. Providing her opinion & recommendation on what she was doing, which helped hugely rather than having to follow a "packing list" She would answer factual questions perfectly with great detail & I have learnt a bunch off her this trip, especially at the rice paddies. On the rare occasion she didn't know something she was completely honest & referred us to someone who might. Questions that were more about our fears or worries of one of the activities on the trip she would be beautifully honest so that we were always completely prepared for what was coming & always reassure us if we ever were worried. However the whole trip I felt so safe with Alissa, I was so comfortable in all of the activities. One of the nights in Gili T, we played a game of football with the locals & to get to the pitch was through all the back street alleys and complete maze which is the center of the island. Normally I would be awful walking down those streets, shining my iPhone torch everywhere when I heard a noise. But we chatted the entire way with all the locals & I was so at ease I didn't think twice about what was about because again felt so safe. Alissa is also a complete hoot! Bloody amazing to spend time with, always smiling & made me laugh so much. Made us feel relaxed in every environment. Especially when we would walk around, Gili T in particular & would know so many locals, it was nice to see how much they loved being around her too. She is definitely in the right job as she is extremely good at it.
The activities that we did in this trip were unreal, I loved every single one. Learning to surf was amazing, seeing the Dolphins & snorkeling for hours. Most days were early starts but were so worth it, especially the volcano hike!

Nothing was too much trouble she even went to the trouble of getting me a cake for my birthday. I Felt very safe throughout the whole trip and the accommodation was very secure.
The only thing I would say that Bali intro gives a guide on how much money you may need it is cheap but I think you will need to be more than £250.
I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family wanting to visit Bali and would use intro travel for further travel. Thanks for a great trip Allisa xx

As a novice to the world of intrepid adventures I was nervous about the tour but has no need to be. My group leader, Alissa, managed to strike a perfect balance between fun and competent. She was reassuring and knowledgeable but also gave us the right amount of space - she was neither negligent nor overbearing. Everything was well-planned without being regimented; there was a good mix of free time and planned excursions (all of which I thoroughly enjoyed). Recommend unreservedly, particularly for a first-time solo traveller.

Well, what can I say other than that the Bali Intro trip absolutely went beyond all expectations. Every hotel I stayed in was stunning. Every hotel I stayed in was stunning. Beautiful rooms, divine swimming pools, excellent hospitality and some incredible views in the Bali and Gili Islands hot spots. Private mini bus transportation was provided throughout and made everything about the trip that much easier. The boat trip over to the Gili Islands was pretty choppy and I would recommend travel sickness tablets to anyone who suffers with motion sickness. Some breakfasts and dinners were included in the trip price, which were pretty scrummy for food away from home. Every place our guide took us to for dinner was brilliant with plenty of variety on the menu. I was over the moon to find my tour guide Liss was one of the happiest, brightest, friendliest and most helpful person I have ever met. Anything you needed, she was there, as well as an absolute tribute to the Intro Travel company.

As each day progressed, it continued to provide life changing experiences, memories and led to the creation of friendships which will last a lifetime. I cannot convey how much of an amazing two weeks I have shared with the group, its excelled my expectations throughout. The trips, accommodation and laughter that was shared has been second to none. The tour guides, Alex and Alissa have both added such a caring, knowledgeable and enjoyable addition to the trip. Without their leadership, the trip wouldn't have been the same or as stress free. Bali intro has been an experience which I would recommend any one to do, it really is a constant high!

Both leaders were so knowledgeable and were infectiously enthusiastic during every activity, neither of them could have done anything more to make my trip more fulfilling. Alex and Alissa integrated themselves into the group so well it didn't feel like they were our group leaders, but just part of the group as a whole.
Alex was an absolutely fab tour guide for balintro. He gave us so much information, and made the first half of the trip so much fun and absolutely unforgettable. Thank you Alex!

Bali is an incredible place and I would never of came on my own, so a tour group was an excellent idea.. After a few days our guide switched to Allicia, she showed us around the Gili Islands and Ubud.. as a guide she was absolutely excellent.. getting massively involved with everything everyone wanted to do. Gili Islands is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever visited and wouldn't even hesitiate about going back, ubud was nice and chilled!
I would defiantly do another Intro Travel trip without a doubt! Listening to the ideas of maybe vietnam or india sounds absolutely amazing!

The bus journeys weren't too long at a time which was good on the bumpy roads. The tour guides were awesome. Alex is a saint putting up with our group! and Alissa is so funny and easy to get on with. I'd definitely look at another intro based on this experience. As there were only two who did not do the full 12 days and left after 9 I'd make more of the last day and have a farewell dinner then too.

Bali intro is amazing! It's a fantastic tour around Bali and you get to meet some wonderful people. Gili T was the best!! Definitely five stars.

I would highly recommend doing the extra 3 days in Ubud, I pushed myself to the limit and did things I thought I could never especially the volcano trek. Our tour guide Alissa was so lovely and friendly and patient with everybody. she didn't force any of the group to participate in anything they didn't want to. The group were all of a similar age and I felt really comfortable with everyone- we grew close really quick! I would highly recommend balintro for anyone wanting to cover Bali and the Gili islands.

soon we have to leave Indonesia and I'm sure we will reminisce about our time in this incredible country and our trip with balintro a lot! i travelled with my sister and we had an amazing time and met…soon we have to leave Indonesia and I'm sure we will reminisce about our time in this incredible country and our trip with balintro a lot! i travelled with my sister and we had an amazing time and met incredible people from all over the world. we felt welcome from the second we got to Kuta and met the crazy bunch of people we travelled with for sadly only nine days. everything was well organised, the places we stayed at were more than we expected (the private villa was breathtaking!) & even if we both aren't native english speaking our group made sure we didn't feel left out at any time at all. both our guides Mark and Alissa were absolutely awesome as we had the privilege of having two guides for the first days! Mark was always smiling even after repeating ten times when we would meet the next time and also very helpful and caring when both me and my little sister got sick on the Gili Islands. he was always motivated and loved to show us why it is more than worth it to travel about his (temporary :)) home. we really enjoyed our time in this beautiful place and would definitely book this tour again! balintro was more than just an adventurous trip for us and we already miss our little balintro-family :)) thanks for this fantastic trip!

After experiencing Thaintro last year, booking Balintro was a no brainier. Despite the apprehention that nothing could top the aforementioned trip, Balintro exceeded all of my expectations. We had a nice chance to get to know each other with a few drinks and dinner. The tour was very well organized with amazing locations and accommodation!! The private villa was a massive highlight to the trip. Everywhere was clean and having some meals included was such a bonus. Pancakes in ubud accommodation were unreal!!!! The volcano trek and Dolphin boat trip were 2 massive highlights for me. All the staff and tour leaders on each location were outstanding and so happy! I have made some friends for life here and would recommend any of the intro tours as a start to your travelling experience. Thank you for letting me make some wonderful memories here in Bali.

My tour leader, Alissa was awesome! She did a fantastic job and was always so positive and encouraging about everything! (She is also a lot of fun!) I one hundred percent recommend this trip, especially if you are travelling alone, it really is not scary at all! I now cannot wait to travel alone again. I really have had a once in a life time experience and I will treasure these memories forever! (I will also now learn how to cook all the awesome Indonesian food, because that is really tasty!!!!!!)

The transportation to our various stops was always comfortable and air-conditioned! Accommodations were incredible!! The private villa is amazing. I never imagined on a "student" travel group the accommodations would be SO good. Overall, I had a great time on this tour and would join another Intro Travel group in a heartbeat.
