The tour was fantastic! You see very much of the east coast in a very short amount of time, 16 days. Sian was an outstanding tour guide and Gaz was an expert coach driver! Sian was an outstanding tour guide and Gaz was an expert coach driver! The coach was extremely clean and very comfortable. The itinerary was great, some of my favorite places include Byron Bay and Fraser Island to name a couple. My only complaint is we didn't have enough time in the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney. It would have been nice if we had a few more hours to hike there. Over all it was a great trip!

Without the added excursions it would be an expensive bus ride.
The canoinf was dangerous and result in 6 people’s life’s being out st risk and the coast guards being called out. Introduction to diving was horrrndous and started in the middle of a choppy sea with no time to properly prepare. I honestly feel this trip has been very much miss sold and will be in touch on my return to the U.K.
Mid January. I have done a lot of travelling and expected so much more form a company as big as Contiki!

Would advise European Inspiration tour for anyone travelling to Europe for the first time. You visit all the right countries in an appropriate amount of time with great company regardless of age. Accommodation was surprisingly great, with the exception of Lucerne, Switzerland. Sian did an awesome job as our guide and seemed to genuinely care about the 30 something tourists she had to manage.

The tour was ok. A lot of the accommodation was extreme cheap. Especially in Italy, all the cities we were at Contiki owned camp sites. I mean, who goes to Rome to live in the jungle. Such cheap camp …The tour was ok. A lot of the accommodation was extreme cheap. Especially in Italy, all the cities we were at Contiki owned camp sites. I mean, who goes to Rome to live in the jungle. Such cheap camp sites that outsiders pay only 10 euro per night!!! Also, vegetarians suffered. At least 40% of our meals were literally 3 side put together - boiled vegetables, steamed rice and chips!!! Me time optionals are also rip offs. You end up paying more than you would if you did it yourself, e.g. gondola rides in Venice cost 80 euro per gondola for 6 (13.33 per person) for 20 minutes. With the me time we were charged 22 euros!! Contiki just looks for opportunities to fill it's own pockets.
Tour manager, honestly better term is tour guide. She knew her stuff about places. But as a manager she really didn't have the skills. Despite multiple instances of vegetarians being forgotten about because she didn't remember to inform restaurants/hotels beforehand. Thanks to this on the nile river cruise, others had an exotic Egyptian meal with 5 meats, while vegetarians got boiled vegetables, steamed rice and chips, but we both paid the same!!!! On multiple occasions the bus was parked far from the accommodation and she'd get someone from the group to carry her bag through rough roads and up staircases.

Sian made the whole experience absolutely incredible and knew everything about every city we went to, from where to buy the tastiest food to how to navigate our way around. She was always bubbly and happy every time we saw her, and was so friendly and easy to get along with. No matter how big the night before was, Sian was always able to get the group in an excited mood every morning on the coach and was always more than happy to answer any questions or solve any issues we had. I had the time of my life on this tour and if I could, I would choose Sian to be my tour guide again on every future tour I go on.

19 day European inspiration. The entire trip was amazing. All of the included activities were great, the me-time optionals were spaced out and well organised. Hotels and food was amazing. It made me realise how much I was tied down to my existence in the outer suburbs of Brisbane, and that if I want to really live my life, I need to live and work overseas. The tour was amazing - the scenery, attractions, guided tours, optional activities, dinners, dancing, partying, boozing, sobering, sun baking, new friends, new loves, new experiences... it just boggles my mind that so much is out there.

It was the absolute trip of a lifetime that went off without a hitch. I know that this perfectly run trip came down to a lot of hard work and effort from Sian. On the tour we were always on time, had enough time to see everything, and she would also organise extras for us if we interested in something else, for example we drove via Mauthausen concentration camp as she had heard that a lot of us wished we could have seen a concentration camp. So she organised for us to able to see one.
It was these behind the scenes efforts that allowed us to have a great time on this trip. Sian was an outstanding team manager that truly helped make this trip as awesome as it was.

Sian made sure everything was organised and educated us on the history of each city we travelled to, allowing us to appreciate the places we visit a little more. I can't thank sian enough for tolerating a hilarious bunch like us and making the trip live up to its name: an European escapade! I'd definitely recommend everyone to pick the tours that sian will be guiding. You won't be disappointed!!

If I ever go on any future contiki tours I will hold the tour manager to the gold standard, Sian.

The best 25 days of my life! The trip guidance from Sian was 12/10 and the same goes for Luis' coach driving. The knowledge Sian has about every town/ site we go to is outstanding.
