The Acatenango hike was quite challenging but everyone made it to the Basecamp.
All was well organized and with Ceci, Regina and Andrea we had incredible guides who always took care for us and have been there if anyone needed help.

The trip had a great mix of nature, adventure and the beach making sure we got to see all that Costa Rica had to offer. Highlights were snorkelling in Caye Caulker, an optional scuba dive day at the blue hole, and the volcano hike!

This was my first ever solo and organised group trip and it exceeded my expectations. The trip itself was full of fun activities and opportunities that I probably would have never been able to experie…This was my first ever solo and organised group trip and it exceeded my expectations. The trip itself was full of fun activities and opportunities that I probably would have never been able to experience if I didn’t go with IntroTravel. I always felt safe and enjoyed hearing nuggets of information and history about the places we visited and the countries in general. The trip was made to be fun and engaging even on our longest travel days. Our tour lead Ceci did an amazing job at keeping us all entertained, keeping spirits high, firefighting issues without us knowing there was one in the first place, being our personal trip photographer so we can just enjoy the experience, and keeping us safe and informed on everything during our journeys.

Our tour leader, Ceci, was amazing! She really made the trip. She always made sure I had everything I needed and that I was happy and comfortable, and you could tell she genuinely cared about everyone in the group. It made such a difference having someone so attentive and positive leading us.
The tour itself was so much fun and pushed me to try things I’d never done before, which I probably wouldn’t have done if I was travelling solo. I’ve come away with so many great memories, new experiences, and a lot more confidence in travelling.

Our guide Ceci was extremely attentive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend any trip with her in the future.

Our guide was so incredible, knowledgeable and passionate. The group members were all beautiful. The tour was so well planned with incredible included and optional activities. It was the perfect mix of cultural and historical with holiday fun. I couldn't recommend Viva Mexico enough. I'd love to do it all again. Will definitely be booking another trip with INTRO.

Our tour guide, Ceci, was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide, she was enthusiastic, kind, caring, and incredibly passionate about her job. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt supported, and you could always turn to her whenever you needed help or advice.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an unforgettable travel experience. It’s the perfect combination of adventure, culture, and forming friendships, an experience I’ll never forget!

She always ensured we were having fun and went above and beyond to make this trip a good experience for everyone! It would be great to see the incorporation of overnight transport for the longer travel days as they did take a lot out of the groups energy. Other than that I’d highly recommend this trip!

I enjoyed the itinerary however sometimes the constant moving and having to repack my suitcase was exhausting.

I absolutely love intro travel and this was my third tour with them. I had Ceci as my main group leader and alongside her was Emiliano who was equally as great. The trip itself was so much fun with an equal balance of true authentic Mexican culture in the first half and relaxing vibes in the second half in the more Caribbean/touristic parts of Mexico. As for Ceci & Emiliano, their presence and passion for their job made the trip even more amazing. They were engaging, knowledgeable of their culture and always going above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a good time. They were kind and supportive and never pressured anyone to do anything they didn’t want. I highly recommend intro travel but most of all - pick a tour with Ceci or Emiliano as you’re guaranteed an amazing time no matter the location!!!

Yes some days are travel days, but they try showing you different things along the way to break the day up but in the end it's well worth it. If you tour Mexico and Central America with Intro and end up with Ceci as your group leader you are in for a treat. She is a special person, because she cares and takes time to get to know everyone. You will feel safe and she will help you fill your free time as best as she can by helping you organise anything you actually want to do!

The Mexico tour has the perfect balance of amazing culture, followed by beautiful beaches and cenotes. In Belize we swam with a range of sea life and enjoyed island life on Caye Caulker. In Guatemala the landscapes were unreal, with some of my highlights being the sunrise hike overlooking Lake Atitlán and watching Fuego erupt! You couldn’t ask for a better group leader than Ceci, she is so passionate, fun and professional. She works so hard to ensure the trip runs as smoothly as possible, and that everyone is having the best time. I had a great first experience of travelling on this trip!

Mexico was absolutely beautiful and learning about the different cultures and ways of life is something I’ll never forget. My group leader Ceci was so proud to share her country with us and she made the trip what it was. She’s was the best, hands down. Ceci kept us informed, supported, and entertained, and she instantly made it feel like we were traveling with a friend instead of a tour guide. I loved our little family so much and the surprises along the way. I will definitely book another trip with Intro, especially if Ceci is the group leader!!!!

As a Canadian, when I thought of Mexico, I would think of beaches, sun and sand. This tour really showed me a lot more of what Mexico is about. This tour really showed me a lot more of what Mexico is about. I tried more Mexican food than I knew existed, saw more Mexican landscapes than I thought it had and learned some really interesting facts about Mexican culture and history. Very eye opening. And you also get the beach time!
An absolutely amazing trip! I would 100% recommend it. Our tour leader Ceci was incredible and made everything so much fun. I never wanted to leave!

Ceci was an amazing tour guide - so fun and helpful and really brought a great energy to the trip. And the local guide JP was so knowledgeable and willing to help and answer any questions. I had an incredible time on the tour. The first half being filled with lots of great activities such as boat tours, mezcal/pox tasting and optional ones such as pottery (which I highly recommend). The first half being filled with lots of great activities such as boat tours, mezcal/pox tasting and optional ones such as pottery (which I highly recommend). We really got to embrace the culture of Mexico with the local and indigenous communities visits and exploring each place we stayed. the long drives were long and bumpy but very manageable and really weren’t a concern as had frequent breaks and all part of the experience. The only thing that would have made it better would potentially have been another night in oaxaca to make it feel less rushed. The second half being at a slower but still filled itinerary was welcomed and allowed for a more relaxed time. Beach days and island hopping was amazing, and cenotes/chichen itza made for more highlights. Our group leader Ceci and our local guide (JP) were great and super knowledgeable, answers any and all questions along with great recommendations for food and drink. Ceci was supportive and enthusiastic throughout helping with anything she could and really the trip as worthwhile and memorable. (Thank you Ceci)

Only down point was the amount of travel time, didn’t take it into consideration and spent a lot of time in a cramped van. It would also be good if there were more “sightseeing” activities or some walking activities added in.
Coming from Scotland I’d suggest taking cash with you as you can sometimes be charged commission for using a terminal and just as a wee fyi as I wasn’t aware, México has a big tipping culture too.
Overall, amazing trip with some amazing cultural experiences and immense beaches! Would hands down go again!

All around amazing, great tour guides and even better destinations. From local culture and cuisine to amazing landmarks and fauna, would definitely recommend to a friend :)
