We loved every minute of our 5 day tour. Ryan was a fantastic tour guide with a great sense of humour that matched his knowledge. Brian our driver was amazing through very tough weather conditions. …We loved every minute of our 5 day tour. Ryan was a fantastic tour guide with a great sense of humour that matched his knowledge. Brian our driver was amazing through very tough weather conditions. We always felt safe in Brian's hands navigating us on through out our picture perfect Christmas in the Rockies. This tour was everything we could have hoped for and more. Accomodations were great, our meal on Christmas day was delicious. We didn't want the tour to end. We have met some amazing people and life long friends.

Both legs of the tour were very well o…We're a family of four (with two adult children) from Australia. The itineraries for both legs of the tour (Yukon, Rockies) were great with a lot to see and do. Both legs of the tour were very well organized and hassle free. We added a few optional activities in Banff (Canyon Walk and Gondola) and are very glad we did. Needless to say the sights were spectacular. The hotels we stayed at were all very good. The guide (Ryan) and coach driver (Brian) on the Rockies leg were fantastic. The coach was very comfortable and smooth. The tour group was very nice. There was no DCT guide on the Yukon leg but instead we were very well looked after by the staff at the Inn on the Lake (Marsh Lake, near Whitehorse), including Carson, Emma, Yosser and Zoe. We thoroughly recommend these tours.

We have just completed this amazing tour. The trip was all we had hoped for and more! The stunning scenery all enhanced by perfect weather with blue skies throughout. The tour was well-organized, and our bus driver and guide, Ryan, were excellent. My only challenge was the early starts each morning and wishing we had more time to explore each town, especially Banff.

All a bit rushed.
Although that been said would not have seen all the awesome sights in the five days.

Excellent, the Pilot of the Coach and the guide was superb
Ryan was an excellent guide for the Rockie Mountains. His knowledge was very good and was delivered with humour. The accommodation was first rate. The tour benefited greatly from sunny spring weather, especially at Banff. At 4 nights,5 days it was a good length.
Discover Canada hosted an incredible Christmas trip into the Rockies. Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable, amusing, and brought amazing energy to the trip. Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable, amusing, and brought amazing energy to the trip. The bus was clean and new and our accommodations each night were also clean and suitable. The trip involves a lot of of driving and bus time, but entirely worth it. I look forward to completing another trip with Discover Canada again in the future.
Brilliant in every way, Guided Ryan was thoughtful, friendly, knowledgeable, non intrusive.

Main reason for booking this tour - lots of stunning natural scenery in locations that aren't easily accessible by public transport. There's wall-to-wall picture postcard scenes.

Areas for improvement:
* The itinerary says "Free time to explore the quaint town of Revelstoke" which is misleading. The (unadvertised) scheduled arrival time in Revelstoke is 8pm. For the October departure this meant that the stop at the location of the Last Spike was after sunset, which made it difficult to see anything. It also means many of the restaurants in Revelstoke close just one hour after being dropped off at the hotel.
* Itinerary mentioned 'option to go canoeing' but the guide didn't mention it on day 2. After walking down from the hike the guide recommended I noticed there was a canoe rental place, I don't know if that was supposed to be the option available?
* The advertised included lunch on day 4 was switched for an included dinner in Banff on day 2. This meant for day 4 the lunch stop was at a shopping centre. There's plenty of eating options in Banff and we arrived in Banff earlier than in Revelstoke or Valemont, so it didn't seem the best night to arrange an included meal for us.
* The stop in Jasper for dinner on day 3 was omitted due to the wild fire damage a few months back. Discover Canada still used the Comfort Inn in Valemount as the final night hotel. It's on a busy road on the edge of the town, so doesn't have many eating options nearby and the road layout doesn't make it particularly safe for walking into town in the dark. Given the brochure price was £632 and the single supplement averaged £82/night I would have expected Discover Canada to have gone to the effort of arranging an alternative option, rather than just missing out Jasper and leaving everything else the same. It's not like it's priced as a budget tour.

Fantastic tour! Very well planned, saw so much, great accomodation and lovely people! Ryan was lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Small group tour was very well-planned; great tour guide; comfortable bus; excellent accommodation all the way. Fabulous scenery and just enough in every day to make every day enjoyable.

The itinerary was reasonable, except that there were 2 days we arrived in the hotel around 8pm, and followed by group dinners which were too late to enjoy.
I absolutely loved my Rockies tour . It was better than I had ever dreamed . Our accommodation was outstanding and our ride to sulpher mountain and breakfast fabulous. The scenery was spectacular. We would highly recommend this tour.

Accommodation was absolutely beautiful. One regret was I didn't book the front seat. Our driver Mr Yi was amazing. Due too the fires we didn't get to Jasper but I loved Sun Peaks such a pretty little town. Some places seemed like we didn't get enough time. My daughter has a severe allergy to Eggs, may more attention to this as every breakfast has eggs and the fear of cross contamination is always a problem. Other than that 10 out of 10 loved it.
