I've been working for Contiki for almost 5 years in different roles, but there is nothing like being a Trip Manager over here, and sharing the culture and beauty of these countries with a bunch of new friends! After my application, group interview, and a whopper of a research assignment, I was over here learning on the ground and have been loving it ever since!

Talia is so fun and engaging and is always making sure everyone in her group is having the experience they came for. She goes out of her way to listen to people in her group and understand why they are traveling, and then helps them create wonderful experiences to take home. I would love to do another tour with Talia in the future. I felt safe and well cared for with Talia as my guide, and she's become a lifelong friend.

The Asia Adventure trip was truly a trip of a lifetime and made all that much better by Talia! The itinerary is jam packed with a great range of activities to give you a taste of everything Vietnam. It pushed me out of my comfort zone several times which was good for me, and go me trying new foods, doing different activities, etc. The accommodation was fine and in good locations when we were staying in the bigger cities. It’s the been Contiki tour I’ve been on - I was blessed with the best group and our tour guide Talia made it even better. She was great fun, had awesome relationships with the local guides, and always made sure we’re having a great time - even when things weren’t going as expected (weather in Ha Long Bay almost changed our junk boat plans!). Highly recommend!

Talia took a genuine interest in making sure everyone on the tour was having a good time, her knowledge of the local areas, cultures, and history made the trip fun and very informative.
Talia made a conscious effort to come out with the group as often as she could (most nights), while this is not part of her job it’s another example of her willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time.
I highly recommend Talia as a guide anywhere in the world and hope to travel with her again.

I loved how she would always put good in restaurants to eat at and fun activities to do while we had free time. She was also always down for a chat and was very approachable to talk to if we had concerns about anything. I felt like a princess while on this trip and don't see how anyone could've done the job better. Thank you so much for the amazing time Talia!!

Overall the trip was very worth it, and it was for sure the best I've ever done. (Mind you, it was my first time in South east Asia). The trip was quite fast paced, as seen in the itinerary, however, …Overall the trip was very worth it, and it was for sure the best I've ever done. (Mind you, it was my first time in South east Asia). The trip was quite fast paced, as seen in the itinerary, however, we did see the best parts of every place we visited.
Some thing that I didn't enjoy included how little time we spent in Phnom Phen and Bangkok. There is a lot more to see in those cities and it was a shame that I couldn't see more of them. Another thing is how little meals are included in the (already expensive) price of the trip. I understand the idea of freedom and eating where you want to for lunches and dinners, but overall it was disappointing as to how many I had to purchase myself. The add-on #noregrets trips were amazing but I think that the more popular ones (thai cooking class, waterfall visits) should be included. Also, since I spent $24 USD to go to see a Waterfall, I prefer to be there for more than 40 minutes. It was beautiful and a REAL shame that we didn't get more time. i really hope Contiki changes this for future travellers, as it was disappointing for many of the people in my group.
Tour guides: the trip manager was an angel. She was very knowledgeable about the cities and always recommended the best (not always cheap) restaurants and places to see. As for the local guides, some where amazing- very informing, very interesting and knowledgable. However, some were not fluent in English (which in my opinion, if you are working for a company with English travellers, if you don't speak English, not many of the travellers can understand you) it does not result in an enriching experience.
Overall, wish Contiki would give an estimate of how much money to bring to avoid foreign ATM fees. Great trip and would recommend to first time and solo Asian travellers.

Asian Adventure is the perfect combination of culture, party and free time. The hotels where all amazing and had lovely pools which where great when you wanted to cool down after a day at a temple or …Asian Adventure is the perfect combination of culture, party and free time. The hotels where all amazing and had lovely pools which where great when you wanted to cool down after a day at a temple or doing one of the amazing free time optionals. Included meals where amazing and places I would recommend to people. Talia as the guide was amazing. Very fun and outgoing and helping you with any question, even if it was a dumb one. Arranged some amazing nights out and knew all the cool spots to check out for a drink or a dance.

The tour managed to pack quite a lot in over 6 days. Talia was such an easygoing and friendly tour guide, she provided the perfect balance of history/ culture with socialising the group etc.

Talia was an incredible contiki guid/group leader. She was super relatable easy to get along with yet still super professional. Talia could answer almost any question you had and if she couldn’t she do her best to find out! She is truely an amazing spirit with lots of passion for her job.
