Our tour guide Sam as brilliant, he helped keep everything on track and went beyond what was needed to help anyone that needed it ( booking restaurants etc) the tour was a 10/10.

This was my first Contiki tour and couldn't have asked for a better location or tour guide. Sam was very insightful and organised. He also accounted for everyones needs and requirements.

At first, i doubted him because i thought to myself how this white guy will guide us in Japan who does not speak Japanese and not there long enough. But he exceeded my expectations. He always go beyond to make sure that our trip will be great and all of us will have a great experience! He is always energetic and happy and it is contagious. He knows where the good place to eat and he knows how to throw a party! I love all his costumes and colorful outfits lol. If i’ve given a chance to travel with him again, i would.

The tour itself was well designed. The accommodation was always well located, the food plentiful and the tours informative. What made it special however was our guide; Sam. What made it special however was our guide; Sam. He was incredibly welcoming to everyone in the group and clearly made an effort to ensure everyone felt included. His cheerful manner and thorough knowledge of the various sites we visited really changed the overall experience from good to great. He truly is a credit to the Contiki team.
Sam always puts in 110% and creates a fun atmosphere everyday to ensure every single one of his travellers has the best possible experience. This man is the king of food and nightlife recommendations!

Sam was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to make every situation the best it could be, despite any challenges that arose. Not sure where he gets his energy, but he needs to share his secrets, because he simply never stops! 10/10 would choose to travel with Sam again if given the chance!

As one who had never been on a Contiki before, I would HIGHLY recommend it!!! Sam was amazing and the trip was the best I've ever been!!!
Tour was amazing. Best part was our guide, Sam Sinclair is brilliant, great local knowledge, great bloke. Recommend him to any organisation or traveller.

This was my 3rd Contiki tour and Sam was the most memorable tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and made a huge effort to get to know his group! The accommodation, food, and transport were amazing. What made the trip so special was the local attractions recommended by our guide, Sam. In all honesty, Sam made the trip for us. In all honesty, Sam made the trip for us. He provided extra info on history in every area we went, helpful hints, tips and tricks, and he's obviously worked to cultivate relationships with local business owners who could make our experience better. On our first day, Sam said that if we ever weren't feeling well that we should reach out to him to help. On the 3rd day of the your, my girlfriend became very ill so we talked to Sam. He got her exactly what she needed and made sure to check in on her every few hours to make sure she was getting better. Keep in mind there are 30 people he had to manage, and we never felt overlooked. Our trip couldn't have been better, and our guide Sam played an enormous roll in that. We would give him 10 stars our of 5 if we could!

Sam truely made the tour a unique experience and was very engaging and easy to approach. He helped me with any questions regarding culture, history and activities I could do in my spare time. Sam made the trip easy and he’s great company, I never felt more at home but that’s how Sam made everyone comfortable.

Tour was fantastic! Covered so much ground but never felt rushed. It was my first international tour and our tour guide Sam was amazing. He kept us safe, informed, and showed us a great time.

This was the trip of a lifetime. I’ve taken numerous group tours and this was by far the best (also my first Contiki). The intinerary was ambitious, but well thought out. I saw and did so many things …This was the trip of a lifetime. I’ve taken numerous group tours and this was by far the best (also my first Contiki). The intinerary was ambitious, but well thought out. I saw and did so many things that I never would have thought or been able to do had I traveled independently. Sam “Slink” our tour manager was what really made the trip exceptional. He was super fun and knowledgeable, and consistently for the whole 28 days went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was having the best time possible. Even during free times, Sam always had great suggestions on what to do, and would go out of his way to make arrangements for us to have unique and local experiences (restaurants, cultural events, extra tours, you name it). The tour leader is what really sets the vibe for the trip, and that coupled with a great revolving group of travelers and the most amazing destinations made memories for me that I’ll smile about for the rest of my life. My only disappointment is that I can’t go back in time and do it again.

The tour was fantastic, it gave a fantastic overview of the history and culture of both Laos and Cambodia. I had Sam as a tour guide who knowledgeable, helpful and just an awesome dude.
