I was nervous about travelling to a different country on my own, however once I met my tour guide I felt safe and secure. It was clear where I needed to meet him which supported any anxiety I had once I landed.
The activities that were provided on the tour were brilliant and a lot of fun. It covered everything that I wanted to do in Thailand and more. The view points were a particular highlight of mine. They weren't awfully long hikes, which helped during the heat and the views were beautiful. The accommodation was amazing, I felt safe in every place we stayed, and it felt like I was living in luxury. Sarana bungalows were particularly the most special, it was paradise!
My tour guide Richard was brilliant, he kept us entertained with interesting stories and ensured that we had an amazing time. He went out of his way to make sure we felt safe and supported any questions and onwards travel that we needed. At times some of the members of the tour group were rude to Richard, this made me feel uncomfortable and I felt it was very unnecessary. However, Richard handled this is dignity and respect, which is admirable. It didn't stop Richard from ensuring that they and everyone else had a great time and that everything ran smoothly. I would love to have Richard as my tour leader again. I have already put a deposit down for two more tours with intro travel and I can't wait. Thank you intro travel for and amazing tour.

I had a fantastic time on the 9 day Thai Intro tour. It was my first time going on an organised tour and I was convinced to book after reading other positive reviews on Tour Radar. I had a few hesitat…I had a fantastic time on the 9 day Thai Intro tour. It was my first time going on an organised tour and I was convinced to book after reading other positive reviews on Tour Radar. I had a few hesitations about whether the trip would be drinking-heavy due to the age range of the group and a few of the activities on the itinerary.
I went in with high expectations, and they were exceeded. The quality of the accommodation was excellent for the price - in Bangkok it was a basic (but nice) city hotel, then more of a lodge in the national park (very basic accommodation but incredible setting) and then it was full-on luxury by the beach! The listed activities were all included which was something I couldn't find with any other tour company, which is amazing when you consider that the price was very similar to other tours. Everything was run slickly and I found that there was a good mix between organised activities and free time - most of the time was structured, but with occasional breathers so you could take a bit of time to yourself if you wanted it. The food included was good quality and in total I spent £150 on extra bits, such as transport, drinks, massage, a few gifts and food. I needn't have worried about the 'party' nature of the trip - we had a mix of personalities on the tour so there were always people wanting an earlier night versus others who wanted to stay up later. The two organised nights out were actually really fun and had fun activities rather than just 'get drunk', such as karaoke and fire dancers on the beach.
Our tour guide was called Richard and he was amazing, definitely the type of person who is perfect for the job. He was really easy to talk to and full of interesting and funny stories to keep us all entertained. He went out of his way to make sure that we were all okay, sometimes at his own expense (i.e. getting less sleep/running into his own wind down time) by doing things like organising a birthday cake for one of girls' birthday, and going above and beyond to help us with onward travel. He was really attentive to everyone's needs in the group (i.e. dietary requirements) and checked in with everyone to make sure they were having a good time. I was really impressed with him and would be delighted to have him as a tour guide again.
I was so impressed with my experience with Intro Travel that I have put a deposit down for two more trips with them and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

This tour was absolutely amazing. Everything from start to finish was perfectly organized. I loved the boat trip around phi phi, and both hikes. I also like how Richard was so familiar with all the areas especially koh Pha-ngan and took us to his favorite spots. He also looked out for the vibe of the group and made the tour fit everyone’s needs, I am definitely planning another trip with Intro travels. This was one of the best experiences of my life,

You visit so many places it is truly amazing, from the vibrant cities of Bangkok and Phuket, to the remoteness and quietness of Khao Sok National Park, this tour does it all.
My favourite part of this tour was the taste of island life we got from visiting Koh Phanang and Koh Phi Phi. The islands are on different sides of Thailand, and each offer such a different experience from each other and from anything you could find on the mainland.
Our guide for the tour was Richard, who made the whole experience wonderful. He made sure that the group was well organised, without ever being stressed or imposing. He was very knowledgeable about the country and its customs. He was great at encouraging bonding within the group and made sure that everyone was happy in included.
Overall properly impressed and well pleased with how the tour went, so much that we booked our next trip with Intro before this one had even ended.

The best part was definitely the elephant sanctuary; seeing them so happy and free was just amazing! I feel like I'm heading home with a whole load of new friends and wonderful memories. Richard, our guide, was everything i could have hoped for in a tour guide. As well as being responsible, trusting and knowledgable, he was also your big brother and most importantly your friend. He done everything to make us feel as comfortable and safe as possible whilst making the most of our experience and having the most fun possible. He knew all of the great spots for food and partying, as well as being a great support system if any problems occurred. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, I hope to have him again as my leader on another tour!!

When we finished one activity, the transport was there ready and waiting, by the end of that journey we would arrive for one of our meals and the tables were already set out for all 17 of us! My girlfriend and I enjoyed it soo much that we have just book both the intro Japan and Bali experiences! See you soon Intro and thanks again Richard for making it such a great experience!

Amazing places and amazing people! I loved my tour, the accommodation was all immaculate and beautiful as well as the staff being amazing. The transport was always easily accessible and always on time…Amazing places and amazing people! Meals at times were somewhat restrictive with little other options. Richard is amazing and such a big personality - some people on my tour however struggled with this as they were more introverted.
Absolutely loved it. Richard looked after us all really well and made our time together unforgettable

For the money I paid for this trip I wouldn’t think we would be able to do all the things we’ve done or stay in the accommodation we stayed in. Richard has been great fun and was always around to help with anyone’s problem. His love and enthusiasm for Thailand rubbed off on everyone in the group, creating such a lovely atmosphere. I feel this tour is the best way I could see Thailand for the first time.

The trip was an amazing intro to some beautiful parts of Thailand. The Sarana bungalows are wonderful and the excursions are well organised and so much fun, especially the Mai Thai boxing class. Initially I was very apprehensive about travelling to Asia, however, this tour was so seamless and stress free that you can enjoy all the activities without worrying about how you are going to get to …Initially I was very apprehensive about travelling to Asia, however, this tour was so seamless and stress free that you can enjoy all the activities without worrying about how you are going to get to your next destination etc. Our guide was brilliant, very informative, and made sure to spend time with everyone in the group.
