Awesome Trip of a lifetime! Where do i even start on the endless fun and adventures we had. Taylor was a amazing tour guide and made the experience even better. Could not recommend this enough.

The full three weeks have been amazing. Full of fun activities, met some amazing people and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth every penny. Tour guide Taylor, made it spectacular with entertainment.

The tour was good however found there was too much free time in certain places, needed an extra day in Brisbane and maybe one less day in 1770.

Taylor was a great tour guide, advised us all on all activities to do and activities that were already planned on the tour. However his dad jokes are incredibly horrendous ;) all in all a great trip with a great group of people.

Majority of the hostels were great, transport was good for what it was. Included food was good, breakfast was simple but it did the job. Included trip foods on Fraser and Whitsundays was fantastic.
Taylor was an awesome guide, terrible dad jokes but a great guy. Enjoyed the last few weeks with him!

From sailing around the Whitsunday Islands to partying in Surfers Paradise to driving around Fraser Island, there was always a new adventure right around the corner! The itinerary was amazing, the hostels well chosen and there was always something for everyone. However, what truly made the tour such an amazing experience was our tour guide Taylor Russell. Even though he’s a Queenslander, he was always organized, on time and most importantly he always made sure we were having the best time possible! He has a talent of making the most boring situations fun with his humor and spontaneously creating special moments out of nowhere. Some of my best memories of this trip were not planned activities, but spontaneous fun ideas Taylor came up with. Also his playlist is pretty damn awesome!
In my eyes Taylor is the perfect example of what a tour guide should be: not just some dude who shows us around the East Coast, but a great, experienced and funny guy who makes sure we’re having the time of our life. I 100% recommend this trip, especially with Taylor as tour guide. Thank you Taylor for everything you’ve done and for just being your fun and happy self!

The 5 weeks in australia were really nice. I enjoyed every moment and the activities which we did.
I was able to gain a lot experience through Fraser Island and also Whitsunday! The whole trip was so exiting I learned so much more.
I really liked the tour especially sailing the Whitsundays and Fraser Island. I would recommemd this tour to everyone. I got to know so many new people :)

Really enjoyed the trip, and the places we stopped off at. Activities included were enjoyable and made the trip worth the money. I probably would have paid a bit extra for 40 days just to make the most of each place.
We were really lucky that we had a good group and everyone got on well. I’ve made friends I’d happily meet up with and see again. Our tour guide Taylor tried his best to make sure everyone was included in group activity’s and was having a great time. He had great knowledge of the areas and was more of a friend that tour guide.

Everyone was comfortable around one another, probably too comfortable haha and Taylor just felt like one of us. The activities were great, including the optional add ons, and plenty of free time too. Favourite things were Fraser Island and whitsundays, along with the skydive. Only criticism is that bus journeys sometimes took up the whole of a day time and would rather it have been an over night journey, but suppose cannot always be helped. Thanks for giving me the best memories!

I don’t think I have ever laughed this much and have made some best friends for life. Taylor has been amazing! He’s fun and kind and just fit in with all of us - didn’t feel like our tour guide. You can really tell he loves his job and made every effort to make sure we were all having the best time. I can speak for everyone else in our group and say we are all going to miss him so much - he is 5*.

Lastly I think an extra day in Brisbane would be nice and maybe a day off town of 1770 or rainbow beach to compensate.
Taylor is a really good and funny tour guide. Gave his best to intigrate everyone into the group. Always really helpful. Would do the tour definitely again.

Unfortunately there a couple of wasted days which we could have used to move on. Especially in 1770, Rainbow Beach and Mission Beach would one day less be perfect. There are some extra costs to pay (reef fee, insurance fee, pub crawl etc) which could have been named before.
Sometimes the tourguide wasn’t really wiling to help people out. He didn’t join us on couple of activities. I am wondering for what he actually get paid.
Some hostels (especially in Brisbane and magnetic island) could have been choosed better.
Rainbow Beach dingos Hostel would have also been the better choice (because of the aircon).
Anyway, I would recommend the east coast tour to everyone who wants to explore the hostellife and partylife in Australia. It’s nice to make new friends and get in touch with Travelmates.
P.S.: It‘s just an idea. But maybe it would be better for everyone if the number of english people and non englisch people would be better balanced. The integration of a person into a group depends on the person itself. But it’s obvious that people who are speaking the same language and who are from the Same country getting more close than people from different countries. It’s a shame.

Some improvements I would recommend, at rainbow beach I would have stayed at dingos purely for the fact I didn't sleep for the whole duration of the stay there.
Additionally the information I was given from Gap360 was different to what I received in the fact of some meals being "free" when actually I had to pay for the them.
This have been a once in a lifetime adventure for me and my God it has been awesome. I have made friends for life and memories that I will never forget.

There should be less free days and a few more included dinners and activities. Felt like some days we were very bored as there wasn't a lot to do after the check out. Overall though i had a great experience and so happy with what I got to see and do!

Taylor has been amazing. Everything was always so organised and we never had to worry about anything as Taylor was so efficient specially when it came to knowing what we was doing from day to day. He is very knowledgable and would go out his way to help out whenever. Overall I can’t fault the tour and the organisation! Thank you for an amazing experience!
