I had such a great time on the Philippines East Tour! All the activities, accommodations and people were great!! We didn’t have to worry about anything as Amer made sure everything was taken care of, including making sure there were vegan and veggie options for us. We joined the group midway through as we didn’t do the Philippines west tour but Amer and Luc were great for making sure we were included and integrated into the group quickly! Would definitely recommend Tru Travels!

I am so lucky I done my tour when I did, I was worried being 26 and solo travelling for the first time. However the tour leader Amer instantly made me feel welcome, I’m so glad I done the trip I saw t…I am so lucky I done my tour when I did, I was worried being 26 and solo travelling for the first time. However the tour leader Amer instantly made me feel welcome, I’m so glad I done the trip I saw things I would never would have seen travelling alone. As well as a lifetime of memories I have come away with some lifelong friends. The tour wouldn’t have been the same without Amer he was so knowledgeable and approachable. I will definitely be booking with tru travels again in the future.

Amer, our tour guide made the trip. He was just amazing! He was like another one of us. Nothing Amer couldn't sort out. The only complaint I have is that the 19 days was not long enough. Would recommend it to everyone! Already planning my next trutravels tour. 10 out 10. AMAZING! :D

Amer and Anj have been incredible and feel like friends rather than tour guides. I've travelled with other tour companies before and this is definitely one of my favourites and i'd do it all again. I definitely want to return to The Philippines again in the future to revisit the islands from this trip and others too. Amer and Anj have looked after us really well, made sure we have everything we need and are having the best time possible, and also know the best places to eat, drink etc,. Highlights of my trip have been canyoneering which was amazing fun and our day in Siquijor in which we got our palms read, visited waterfalls and then watched the sunset on the beach with a beer. I've also loved Siargao Island and definitely think the day of travelling was worth it! (Travel day was also stress free and didn't feel long.) By joining this tour I've experienced and done so much more than I could have by myself, plus I wouldn't know where to start. I now have some amazing memories, photos to take home. Thank you so much Amer and Anj we were so lucky to have you both! I can't wait to book my next trip :) xxx

I just gelled with Amer & Anj straight away. They go above and beyond to get to know us individually. They really listen and engage. I felt the most confident and relaxed with them. I think its great having them as guides I just want to be in their presence all throughout the tour. I liked A&A choice of restaurants, they know the areas well. Loved the Philippines, it's such a beautiful country. The variety of transport was my favourite as I felt this gave me the best way to see the country. The local people were lovely such kind happy souls. The local guides on the tours were fantastic they really looked after our group and encouraged us to participate in everything. Being on tour makes me so overwhelmed with happiness seeing people conquer fears, grow as individuals and try new things. Thank you Amer and Anj for putting up with my drunken antics. Amer and Anj if I end up getting married to James, you are 100% invited, James will buy your flights. Either way hope to see you again! xx

I really like how they always joined in with the group and enjoyed their time with us, as it felt like a holiday with friends as well as them being the tour leaders. They were both informative and helpful throughout the trip. My favourite day of the tour was the island tour in Siquijor, especially going to faith healers's house for the palm reading. I felt that day really brought us together as a group. I have also enjoyed my time in Siargao especially being here to celebrate Amer's birthday with him. Our group were very lucky to have both Amer and Anj as our tour guides as they always put a lot of effort with the group. The restaurants they took us to always had veggie options for myself which made my trip easier. The accommodations have been nice. Although the Wifi was not great, it has not really bothered me as it meant we communicated more as a group. Thank you Amer and Anj!!!

I would like to say Thank you to each and everyone who helped me with being in the water. Let's not forget about the Simala church, it's one fo my favourite places in the Philippines. Canyoneering was so sick and the tour guides who accompanied us were helpful to me as I don't know how to swim. Overall a great experience with a small group, everything has been organised and it was very relaxing. It's been like traveling with friends to me. Amer and Anj were amazing and friendly I couldn't have wished for better tour guides to take me around the Philippines. Thank you for everything!

The activities are really well organised and planned, felt like we saw a lot in 10 days. Really enjoyed cooking lesson, monkey forest, and have fallen in love with Gili T! Snorkelling there was so much fun and awesome to see the turtles.
Amer has been a fab tour guide. Always making sure that everyone was safe and included in all activities. He has been fun and friendly as well as supportive throughout the tour- has made this trip an awesome experience.
Also wayan and his brother were amazing local guides and great fun to spend time with.
Will definitely recommend TruTravels and already planning the next trip.

The highlight for me was definitely surfing. Surfing was so much fun, and made me want to learn at home! The coaches were awesome and encouraging and so was the rest of the group! Everyone stood up by the end and came away feeling like they’d conquered something they had always wanted to try.
The food and party venues were all awesome, but there was freedom to try somewhere else or have an early night. From the start everyone got on so well and loved to hang out with each other. Our group was all girls but there was no cliques or drama, we all just laughed and had the best time!
The itinerary was great but none of it would have been the same without Amer. I did a TruTravels tour with Amer in the Philippines and he is the reason I joined his Bali tour. I’ve been to Bali 5 times now but knew I would have the best time with him. He is professional, knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. He is also soooo much fun! We literally laughed from day 1 to day 10! He is absolutely hilarious, thoughtful, supportive and inclusive of everyone. He made it his mission for everyone to get their perfect insta shots and to have the best time. He had friends at every venue (unsurprisingly) and made us all feel like we were part of his friendship group. Amer and I are close friends now and I would definitely jump on another Tru tour and recommend one to my friends if I knew they were in the hands of Amer! He is the perfect personality for his job and an absolute asset to TruTravels.
This isn’t like a generic tour, it’s like hanging out with awesome friends from all over the world for 10 days doing a huge range of awesome stuff! Honestly, if you are considering Bali or another Tru Tour, this is my third one with TruTravels and you will not regret it! Loved it and I’ll be back for India 2020!

The destinations on the several stations on our tour were very well selected (Canggu, Ubud, Gili T). Really enjoyed the cooking class, it ran so smoothly, everything was really well organized and the food was so flavoursome. Visit in March before it was fun and eventful. Both great leaders were very helpful and always on hand to give advice relating to shooping etc. Overall a very positive experience. The only bit of negative feedback would be that on a couple of occasions, due to timing, lunch was much later than expected, But really happy overall!!

I really enjoyed the diversity of activities and the fact we are given plenty of time to send Dave and relax. Before coming I was a bit nervous about the castaway experience And the lack of showers but it actually turn out to be one of my favorite parts it was such a great opportunity to see a way of life you will only otherwise here and read about. Also very lucky and I'm sure I will remember that for a very long time. Amer I got was also really good I could not of asked for better guide to the Philippines I came across as a genuinely lovely and fun person, it definitely helps in making the trip a 10 out of 10. My only criticism would be the lack of water in our accommodation in port barton it was not as nice as the other accommodation. I also want to say thank you Amer for your help in getting my bags back when I didn't make it on the flight from Manila!

He took us to sick bars as well, always a good night out. He was really inclusive of everyone in this tour. Even the guide people showing us around Siargao, me and Phoebe have fallen in love with the island coming back next year for sure. I love Amer he is so good, will miss you mate see you next year!

From start to finish I have loved just about every activity and thoroughly enjoyed traveling in the Philippines with Amer and our whole group. I'm sad to be leaving! Highlights for me or all of the Island hopping days Port Barton, El Nido and Siargao. Another highlight for my trip was canyoneering at Kawasan falls, something I would usually be too scared to take part in but with a guide as lovely as Amer and the friends I have made on tour, I was excited to jump and manage to do them all apart from the 13m jump. Snorkeling with the turtles in Moalboal was incredible and even better to swim with some of the biggest turtles I've seen. Amer is a brilliant tour leader, he fully gets involved in every activity and makes time for everybody no matter what they need help with. I have made friends for life on this tour and I will miss them and Amer when we leave. Amazing experience with amazing people love the gherros!

The highlights from me is the island castaway I thought that was a unique experience that many will never had the chance to do. The only thing I felt missing was a bit more insight into the Philippines culture, I felt we just brushed under the surface but it would be nice to know a bit more about inside of it. Overall our tour guides were amazing and helping us at every thing despite the light size of the group. They have done a brilliant job at organizing everything and giving us a fab time. Thanks to all of you for the best time I'll be sure to return to the Philippines again in the future!

Amer was great in keeping me up to date on the plans before I arrive and in organising transport so I could join the group. The tour was great in itself but would not have been as good as it was if not because of Amer. Probably the sassiest tour leader I've ever had and ever will have. He not only made sure everything went smooth and according to plan but also kept the spirits and energy in the group at an all time high and was there for the numerous clinic visits. The activities were very fun and nothing felt too rushed. Minor issues in the accommodation were fixed by Amer. I don't usually book tours but I would highly recommend this one and I am considering on booking one with Trutravels in the future.

Incredible experience both the Bali experience tour and our tour leader Amer. Cannot recommend Amer more, to anyone who has him as a tour leader is very lucky. The tour had a great mixture of activity and culture, whilst also allowing some free time for you…The Philippines East tour is the 4th Trutravels tour I've done and I enjoyed it as much as the others. The tour had a great mixture of activity and culture, whilst also allowing some free time for you to explore independently. The accommodation was also super, particularly the hotel in Siquijor! Some of the highlights were canyoneering at Kawasan falls, snorkelling in Moalboal, and visiting Siargoa which is hands down the most beautiful island I have been to.
Amer was an exceptional tour guide and was a huge factor in making the tour completely stress free. He was a ball of sunshine every minute and was the life & soul of the tour. He was always reliable and helpful if anyone had any questions or problems, and he was extremely organised when arranging the transport and knew some really great restaurants to take us to. Furthermore, he was also extremely kind and conscientious and made every effort to ensure we were all okay.
Overall I had a great time on tour, and I am very thankful to Trutravels and Amer for their part in making it such an amazing 10 days!

Being able to go on a boat trips and swim with turtles and different types of fishes and also being able to watch a sardine run and seeing how fast they change direction was amazing! Being able to go to a faith heeler was also a very good experience one that I can say is ticked off the bucket list. As well as that being able to go to a fish spa was a very good experience! Luckily we had good weather and we where able to go surfing! It was defiantly one of my favourite activities that I completed whilst being on this tour! My tour guides where amazing! They made sure everyone was happy and made sure that everyone got involved with dinners and activities. They would also go out of their way to make sure people where happy and satisfied with the tour and made sure everyone had their next steps sorted before leaving the tour. Amer, Patrick and Benji where amazing and went an extra mile for us. I wouldn't have wanted any other tour guides! I would highly recommed this tour if you are looking for some great experiences and memories that will last forever!

I travelled around Asia for just over 3 months and after coming straight from Malaysia the Philippines was my next tour. In total I spent a month here and I travelled with Tru Travels for the east part. From the minute Amer (our guide) came to collect me from the airport I just knew my trip was going to be amazing. I was so nervous it was a big deal for me as a solo traveller having never done anything like this before. Amer welcomed me with open arms and we spent our 1.5 hour traffic jam taxi ride, with him teaching me all about the wonderful city I had landed in, Manila.
To give you a brief over view, the Philippines is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. We went to beaches that almost felt they were just for us! Water where you don’t even need a snorkel to see the incredible marine life as it’s so clear. I swam with wild turtles, saw the most beautiful sunsets and made the most amazing friends that I still talk to today. Amer was a rock throughout this whole tour, nothing I asked was ever too much trouble. He is and still is to date the best tour guide I met in all of my travels.
Oh and I nearly forgot the food!!!!!! Some of the best local food, especially when we were travelling between islands and the locals made us lunch. I still dream about it today! If you want to have the trip of a life time.....BOOK THIS WITH TRU TRAVELS!
This is an incredible price and well worth it!

"Discovery" meaning you can discover on yourself and dont need someone to hold your hand constantly. Touring with a group is a great idea because you get to truly know the people your travelling with but you can also go off and do your own thing without being baby sat. Going on a tour takes the stress out of everything but at the same time you can do as you please inbetween activities the tour guide sorts out. "Avoiding peek tourist times" so what would you rather a picture full of people in it or a time where you can really get the feel for the place on your own.. Siargao is where the tour ends so yes nothing has been put on by the tour but after everything you have done it's nice to just be able to sit back and relax for the last day. Limited time is up to you, you can stay a little longer to enjoy siargao or you go home. On the intinary it never says exactly where your going to eat, things can change. I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Amer is such a great tour guide and also he helped me so much when I continued my travels on my own in Philippines. I messaged him and he was always there for me and helped me with so much, when I messed up with accommodation in a different part of the Philippines and when I needed help with my sim card or recommendations on where to go. He is so helpful and the part Ian has said about him not liking Filipino food is not true!! He was born and bread there! Yes he likes a bit of KFC now and then but he does like the food. Amer dont let one review out of so many effect you. Your great and I hope to tour with you again.

Whilst I understand that this makes up for about half of the tour, this is just a reflection of how enjoyable I have found the last 10 days! As for Amer, I believe he has brought something truly unique to the tour. From the first moment he has been energetic, enthusiastic and has managed to include everyone. However, I would make a point to say that some of the group dinners shouldn't be as expensive and maybe consider group dynamics e.g. couples on one tour and students on another. Also I would advise trutravels to break off connections with ST fly travel agency as I experienced multiple issues and that they were extremely unhelpful. Thank you <3

The startin…As a "discovery" tour this was average at best. Having just come from an amazing "discovery" tour in Bali with another company, and directly comparing the two, this tour was disappointing.
The starting time for the included activities was too late, almost always around 10am, this meant we were wasting time in the morning where we could of done the activity, avoided peak tourists times, then have more continuous free time in the afternoon to go off explore/do own thing. I was so disappointed in the last three days I pretty much left the tour when we got to Siargao and did my own thing to actually explore. It's such a beautiful place, yet the tour barely sees any of it, apart from the tri island hopping. Having limited time there and wanting to see Siargao I had no other option but to do my own thing, and I was able see much more of the island and surrounding areas, such as Sugba Lagoon (I was given no advice or help with organising. after the guide asked me how I went about it as he had no clue), Sohoton Cove, Pacifico, Maasin Bridge etc. Our tour guide, Amer, was average. I learnt nothing of the Filipino culture. He didn't take us to any Filipino restaurants (he claimed on numerous occasions he hates Filipino food) only to Western geared restaurants that happen to sell fusion or some Filipino food. For example, the first night in Cebu we were supposed to go to the House of Lechon (per itenirary), instead, Amer said he didn't want Filipino food, so we were taken to some bad typical western pub/bar that served average food. I found this strange and disappointing because I wanted to eat Filipino food, given I was in the Philippines. Having said that, accommodation was clean and decent, and organisation of the included activities was good.
If you are looking for a discovery tour (which this is billed as) I would look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a focus on drinks, party, rinse repeat tour with some activities thrown in than this would be for you.

I felt like although travelling in tourist group, the activities were very localised and our tour leader made me feel I had a good understanding of each place I visited with lots of local background knowledge and why Trutravels chose certain locations. My favourite place was Siargao! My only complaint about this tour is, I felt I did not spend long enough time in Siargao and would have preferred to have seen the inside of the island more. Although I did enjoy swimming with the turtles in Moalboal, I didn't feel really there was a lot more to do there and would have preferred possibly 2 nights. All the transport felt extremely safe and hotels were very impressive . My favourite activity on tour was swimming with the turtles, although I did feel that the company used could have been better, the boat was very loud and when we finished we were dumped to shamble up rocks with very high waves and I fell. I really enjoyed Siquijor day trip and the waterfalls. Overall, I would 100% use Trutravels again and recommend this company. Thank you so much Amer, I will be back to the Philippines!

The whole tour has been well thought out and planned out, with a good mix of activities and locations to get the true experience of the Philippines. Amer has been an outstanding group leader, always happy to go above and beyond when needed. He makes time to get to know everybody regardless of the size of the group and makes you feel like you are friends, not just a guest. I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole 19 days and I am definitely returning to the Philippines one day.

The Philippines is 100% the most beautiful country I have ever been to, with each stop it kept getting more and more breath taking. I really enjoyed the diversity of the activities and the fact we were also given plenty of time to sunbathe and relax. Before coming I was a bit nervous about the Castaway experience and the lack of showers but this actually turned out to be one of my favourite parts, it is such a great opportunity to see a way of life you would only otherwise hear/read about. I feel very lucky and I am sure I will remember that for a very long time. Amer as a guide was also really good I could not have asked for a better guide to the Philippines. He come across as a genuinely lovely and fun person, definitely helped in making the trip 10/10. My only criticism would be the lack of water in our accommodation in Port Barton, it wasn't as nice as the other Accommodations. I also want to say Thank you Amer for your help in getting my bag when it didn't make it on the plane from Manila!

This was my first time in the Philippines and my first tour. Trutravels made it an extremely fun and easy experience for me. Trutravels made it an extremely fun and easy experience for me. Transport and accommodation was smooth and the guides were easy to get along with which made the trip more great and enjoyable. Port Barton island hopping was great with nice beaches, especially when we had the beaches almost to ourselves. The waterfall was a fun hike but not the right season during my time. El Nido island hopping was also great and almost has beaches to ourselves. Recommend going to the top to see the view of the snake sand bar. I was also able to Kayak which I wanted to do. Zipline was worth the hike up and I definitely recommend doing it as it was one of the highlights of this trip for me. I loved the Coron Castaway trip as it allowed me to experience more of The Philippines culture and learn more about the history of places and traditions. However, I wasn't able to interact and experience activities together with them much which would have been enjoyable. Watching them spearfishing was my highlight but I wasn't able to spearfish which was what I want to do on this trip. Lastly, the Coron Lagoons were nice and relaxing. This whole trip was made enjoyable and an experience I would never forget by the people I was with and the guides!

We found out that there would be 24 of us and thought it would be too many but everyone got along great and …Wonderful trip! After our east tour we had two weeks by ourselves and then joined the west. We found out that there would be 24 of us and thought it would be too many but everyone got along great and Patrick and Amer made it seem like no problem at all. Cooking the food together was on the first night, bonfire the next and the former leper colony tour was great. Aldrich and the island tribe were so welcoming. Island hopping and snorkelling were my favourite days, vegetarian lunches are sometimes better on these days. It's the other travellers and guides that can make a trip and we sure had a great bunch!

Our guides, Patrick and Amer were excellent in organizing transportation, accommodation and fun things to do. The highlight of the tour was the Castaway island adventure and island hopping with red carabao tours.
My only complaints would be that the van drivers were driving too fast for the road conditions. We weren't on a tight schedule and an extra 30 minutes per trip would be a lot safer.
I would certainly recommend Trutravels for value, itinerary and adventure.

I got to see and experience the Philippines culture in a short amount of time and it was a very eye-opening experience. The tour has a good mix of chill and fun activities which gives you enough time to process everything and let it sink in. Canyoneering was exhilarating, I loved it and the way it made me feel. The guides were very caring and helpful. There was such a good mix of people in our tour group, I got to learn more from them and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to do this with. Sardine run awas unreal and so was swimming with the turtles , it gives you a whole lot of new perspective. The transport was a good mix; from vans, jeepney, ferries and tricycles, you get to really experience the country's way of life which was a really good experience. The day trip in Siquijor was brilliant, from palm readings, to one of the best sunsets I've ever witnessed. Siargao was a dreamland, I got sick when we got there but I could still feel that it is a magical place. Our tour leader Amer was fantastic, very caring, inclusive and friendly, not to mention really hilarious. He took me to the clinic and made sure everyone is well looked after and is having a good time. He told us about the different cultures in the Philippines and it is great to have him as a leader because he could easily translate for us. He's the best. Thank you Trutravels for such a great tour. I will definitely book another tour with Tru in the future. xx

The weather was overcast and rainy sometimes but it didn't impact our fun. There were a lot of activities but it didn't feel too much or too fast paced. There was enough chill time and time to catch up on sleep. Only issue/recommendation would be our accommodation with wifi in the rooms. Maybe a local cooking class would have been awesome. Siargao was my favourite destination and canyoneering was my favourite activity even though it's a huge tiring day. Amer was amazing! From the minute we met him it was fun and comfortable. His happiness and laugh is contagious and I will consider him a great friend from now on. He went out of his way to help everyone and was so funny to party with too. He bought everyone together and made the experience amazing. Overall I had a great time and made lots of new friends!

The restaurants we ate at always served good food and the night life and bars were way better than expected. Amer made the tour so fun and he made an effort and got to know everyone from the very first day. He was always there to help and made the activities even better by doing them with us. He was always well organised but at the same time wasn't too serious and made everything fun. Most importantly, Amer is so funny and a fab friend, he made us feel like family, he is an asset to Trutravels. :))

Our tour guide Amer is like a brother to us. He has been incredible in his valued experience and knowledge. His caring friendly vibe has made the tour enjoyable. The only the problem with the tour is how long the distance is between Siquijor and Siargao. Over 12 hours of travelling, an option of flight to Cebu then Siarago would be so much better. Siargao is the best by far. Overall an amazing experience and will recommend to everyone!

Being my first group travel experience, I wasn't sure what to expect or how comfortable it would be. The activities were always planned smoothly and the enthusiasm of our tour guide, Amer was just as important to the overall experience as the tour itself. Amer was always super flexible and took the needs of everyone into account. Not only that but he can party hard and have fun attitude, always kept the group in good spirits even outside the planned activities. Amer clearly takes the position of our tour guide very seriously and goes beyond and above what I would expect from anyone that was just doing their job. I will take the experience and memories with me for life and I could easily call Amer a true friend after only two weeks. Would recommend trutravels to absolutely anybody of any age and personality and insist on Amer as the tour guide, it would certainly be a lacking experience without him. YTB :]

I have done other tours overseas in the past and this was one of the most inclusive and well organised tours. The highlight would be the Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls for sure! Amer, our tour leader was amazing and can't say enough good things about him. He made our experience so much better overall. Overall I really liked the tour, however the only downfall I would say is, the extensive amount of travel on day 7 that wasn't specified online, which is then difficult to prepare for. Only accommodation to be poor is the one in Siquijor, especially after the long journey to get there. I also think that the transport and transfers should be covered by the company/included in the cost.

The Philippines is a beautiful and untouched haven and I feel so lucky we had an opportunity to travel around it. Each activity was phenom. Steph and I won this experience tour via Facebook competition last Christmas. I have always dreamed of coming here and so lucky we explored the east with your company. I just want to thank our incredible tour leader Amer Asum. He is the kindest, smartest, funniest and most amazing tour leader I have ever had. He was informative, helpful, punctual, understanding and an open-minded people person I have ever met. He spoke the language, laughed with us the whole time and was so patient with our needs. HE IS AN ASSET to Trutravels. I want him to be my tour leader next time. Overall, thank you so much for the adventure of a lifetime and will 100% be booking another trutravels tour ASAP. Accommodation and Transportation has been perfect and travel seamlessly organised. The accommodations have been so lovely and really adds to the experience as you are literally waking up from bed to breathtaking views everyday. The itinerary has been so good, such a fun mix of exhilarating fun and chill, evenly spread out so you really feel you are getting so much from the trip. Amer! Amer has without a doubt been a pivotal part of making this trip to so wonderful. He has been the BEST group leader from picking us up at the airport onwards. He's been so kind, easygoing, helpful, fun... there are so many adjectives really but he is way PERF. Additionally, having a native speaker in the Philippines has been super useful when we've needed help with translation. I would 100% do another tour with Amer, Thank you hun! Overall, it's been as i've said beyond amazing and im already planning my return especially in Siargao! Thank you Trutravels! xx

I have enjoyed my tour immensely and have seen some fabulous places. I feel like my feet haven't touched the ground and I'm so tired but would do it all over again as soon as possible, and will! Amer was a very good group leader and kept everyone included in the group. He is very good at seeing things that may be about to happen and steps in accordingly. The activities, transportation and itinerary were well organised and were generally in line with what I was expecting before the tour started. All third party providers (hotel staff, drivers, instructors, etc.,) were all very nice and helpful. This tour does a great job on engraining you in the local culture but includes an international flair (ie, going to Italian restaurants). The entire group generally stuck together for the entire tour and all got along together great. Amer is the perfect person to run this tour. His familiarity with the areas and people locally, created a true experience of the culture and local scene and I can't imagine anyone else creating a better experience for this tour.

Really good mix of fun and chill activities. Amer is a legend! So much fun, really cares about making sure everyone is happy and has the best experience. He really brought the group together. His knowledge about the country and recommendations were brilliant and he was well organised. He made a great trip exceptional :) It also really helped having a local guide for translations in a lot of places so much better than a western guide!

Such a good tour guide. He made an effort to connect with every single person which was so so nice. There was a good level of chill and active stuff, I really would not change a thing. So so sad that it's over!

Amer was awesome, super friendly, helpful and just an all around good time, it also helped that he is a local which made traveling that much easier being able to speak to the locals. The people, the activities and the Philippines was epic! I never wanted it to end or leave, I've had so much fun and will be taking so many amazing memories away from this trip!

Amer is probably one of the m…As a person who runs his own company and with all the added stresses that come with it, I was looking to relax and forget about all of that and enjoy myself on this trip. Amer is probably one of the most down to earth, caring and fun loving guides I have ever had the experience of doing a group tour with. He looked after everyone, made sure everyone was having a great time always and above all else was professional and took his job very seriously. I have no doubt that he would be easily capable of running a whole department of people and was shocked to find out this was only his 2nd tour. I loved everything about the trip, some of the other members were quite clearly not travelling people, which kind of let down the trip in a way but the connections I made with everyone else and Amer was what made it very special for me. Could not highly recommend him enough.

As soon as someone felt ill or down, he always went the …The tour matched the itinerary at all times and any changes, Amer made sure to tell us. Amer was extremely caring and made me feel so welcome. As soon as someone felt ill or down, he always went the extra mile, which is so nice. Amer always ate and did everything with us which made it feel like he was a guest on the tour rather than the tour guide. Amer would always answer any question we had and tried to adopt the tour to meet everybody's needs and he really took into account our feedback and tried to do anything to change things to make them better. The activities were amazing and all travelling was stress free which was lovely as I get very stressed.

Everyone was kept updated and felt like they could go to Amer whenever they had any questions, which were always answered at no inconvenience, This ensured the group knew what was happening and we're all very close. Would definitely recommend!

All the trips on the tour were truly spectacular. The highlights for me were the Kawasan waterfall day and the day 9 boat trip. The Philippines is an incredibly beautiful place.

Ending the trip on the island Siargao was perfect, and the island hopping is a great activity for the last day of the tour. My personal favourite was canyoneering, fantastic experience. I was however disappointed with the surfing activity. The beach was where we surfed is full of rocks, making your feet get covered in cuts and it makes you conscious of falling off. Also the instructor I had just kept waiting and I feel like I missed a lot of waves. I would have also enjoyed some time on my own without the instructor afterwards. Apart from that though, fantastic tour!

The only points for improvement would have to be the travel day to Siargao, 13 hours by van, ferry and flight is a lot. Other than that the tour was great!
