I can’t reccomend this trip enough, the sights are unbelievable (snorkelling with turtles and dolphins?!) the food is insane and the people are lovely, I’d do it all again in a heart beat! Thank you Bonnie and Intro Travel :)

The real star was our tour leader Bonnie though - she was constantly making sure everyone was having a great time, looking after people when they got ill or overdid it a tad in Gili T, and generally being hilarious. I loved that she knew so many local people and could speak Indonesian, it meant we felt like we got a proper introduction to how Balinese people lived as well. She had the perfect balance between being a leader and also everyone’s friend - such an amazing gal! I was a bit worried about going on a tour rather than just doing Bali by myself but honestly I couldn’t recommend it enough, just do it!!

Also I think it's worth adding a line at the start of the tour addressing smokers: "if you'd like to smoke, that's not a problem but please be considerate of others and respectful of your surroundings" something like that lol.
Incredible experience overall, hopefully made some lifelong friends too!

Bonnie lived up to, and beyond, her reviews. From showering us with warm welcoming hugs the second we met her, to personalised farewell messages to all 20+ of us at the end <3
She was an endless source of genuine enthusiasm and offered it to us all. She would effortlessly get to know each of us and glued us together to the family we felt like at the end xxx
Her bottomless supply of encouragement to those of us who found some of the experiences physically or mentally challenging (surfing/diving/hiking) was so appreciated! She would raise us up and make us feel like we smashed it :)
Additionally, I had a personal desire to commemorate my grandfather in the sands of Bali by photograph. Bonnie, bless her heart, could see how important this was to me and so made it an importance to her. She took as many photos as possible - including adjusting the angle, giving me tips, fixing the writing in the sand etc., until we hit the perfect one. That meant more to me than I was able to express to her properly. I thank her for making that moment one I know my nan will treasure x
During a crisis, she would be there like a shot to sort it out like it was nothing, and did it so happily!
I also loved learning about Bali with her! She had mad respect for the locals and culture of the island, and this love was reciprocated by the locals on the trip too :)
Practically speaking, she kept us well informed and up to date with expectations, timings and anything we needed to take with us for activities. She was available all.the.time and took real love in listening to any issues or concerns or questions. Nothing was too much for her. I had paid for a trip to simply rock up and do with no stress and that’s exactly what I got. Bonnie sheltered us from any stresses with transport, fees, timings etc and just told us what to do and when which made it so easy to enjoy ourselves :)
Overall, I cannot still thank this unique lad enough X she was a leader at the start, a legend throughout and then turned into a everyone’s best friend at the end ^^ <3 LOVE YOU G
Accommodation
In one place, it made the villa of ‘Love Island’ look basic in comparison! All paid and booked for, all accommodation was super comfortable and all had their own special feel to them. Bonnie kept us informed and would mix up rooms, which was a nice touch to get to know everyone better :)
Activities
Every single day was its own adventure. If you want to do and experience as much as possible, this trip packed it in til it was practically bursting!

I especially took note of her effortless way in making an effort with everyone. She’s a social butterfly and would give out so much encouragement and praise those of us who found new experiences challenging. I admired this trait as it is rare to find.
A personal thank you, was her dedication to organising a personal photograph to commemorate a loved one. Words really couldn’t express how much that meant to me, and she made me feel like it was the most important thing in the world that we’d get the perfect photo. Even writing this is making me well up a bit!!
Additionally - she was more than a leader. She was everyone’s best friend :) She’s just a wonderful hoooman being and this company is extremely lucky to have her :)
In terms of organisation- it went exactly as I wanted to. I paid for no stress and that’s exactly what I got. Timings and pace are tricky buggers to sort out (being a teacher I have some experience of this!!) but it ran so smoothly and easily with no low points anywhere. Every day was UNREAL (lols)

I had the most amazing 2 weeks with BalIntro and would definitely recommend them! Our leader, Bonnie was so much fun, she organised everything down to a t and nothing was too much to ask. She was so knowledgeable about the country and went out of her way to make other reservations for people who had plans after. All we had to do was show up and everything was ready to go from snorkelling to surfing, so we fitted way more in than if I hadn’t been on Bali intro. Bonnie was so friendly and welcoming at the airport, putting my mind at ease since this was my first solo holiday meeting a group of people I didn’t know. She was also really great at getting people’s photos and videos and putting them on a FB group so we could all have them.
We were very lucky and also had 2 other leaders Adam and Craig, as craig was having his trial group. They were a lot of fun and kept us entertained on the bus trip with good craic and music.
Bali itself was so pretty and the weather was great. The outdoor things like paddle boarding, snorkelling and surfing etc were all great and plenty of time to enjoy them. Turtles are my new favourite animal! We got so close to them, it was incredible! And the dolphin spotting was amazing, we got so close and there were so many. The food is great all round, particularly at the Balinese families house. All the activities were really well organised and with companies who made sure we were safe, the drivers were also great. I felt safe at all times in Bali and the leaders went above and beyond what I expected. Bali intro exceeded my expectations and it was great making new friends along the way too!

Bonnie is a legend. I've loved every minute of this trip. I can't really chose an activity that was my favorite but the dolphin trip is up there. A good team certainly makes a difference and we had the BEST. Gili T is the most beautiful place I have been to in my life, I will be returning as soon as poss. The food was all insane and everyone in my group knows I eat for 4 people, keeping me from being hangry is a challenge but this trip did that. I can't put into words how great this trip was, I wish I could take Bon and the squad to Vietnam intro but I will never forget this. Thanks guys. Xxxxx

The accommodations, transports, and organized excursions/activities were phemonal (especially the bike ride in Gili T and surfing in Cangu) but I can honestly say from the beginning to the end of this tour I had the such a great experience all due to our tour guide Bonnie. She's is so friendly and approachable and was very keen on making sure everyone had a very good time and felt included. She also took the time to get to know each and everyone one of us on a personal level. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and I would hope they get Bonnie as their tour leader as she is a LEGEND!!! :)

Most of the activities and experiences on the trip are things that I would never have done if I had taken this trip on my own. Everything is organised for you so you can fully enjoy the trip without having to worry about anything.
From the start of the trip our group leader Bonnie was amazing. Bonnie was there to meet us from the airport and gave us all the information we needed about the trip while still making sure that everyone was having the best time. She was very knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions that we had.
The trip takes you to a number of different places all over Bali and the Gili Islands and the accommodation was so much better than expected at each place.
The tour is packed with lots of different activities so that there is something for everyone but you also get to see and learn about the country.
My favourite part of the trip was the volcano trek. It was worth the very early wake up and climb for the views of the beautiful sunrise at the top.

Honestly without a doubt, the best experience of my life. It was a perfect balance between seeing sights/culture, partying and just relaxing. It was a perfect balance between seeing sights/culture, partying and just relaxing. Bonnie was brilliant right from the airport, and so friendly and approachable, whether it was getting advice, information on where to go or what to do (or sometimes just what was going on!) or just for a chat and a laugh, she was there 24/7. I feel like she definitely made my trip what it was and if I could book another tour I would definitely ask if I could be in her group again.
The accommodation just got better and better throughout the trip, with fantastic rooms that opened up directly onto swimming pools or jungle type views, everywhere we went was something different but great in its own unique way. The same could be said for all the places we visited, I couldn’t pick a favourite for the same reason but possibly it would be Gili T with its mega-chilled island vibe.
I felt like I squeezed in so much, everyday we had at least one activity planned, and it never really required much thought, all the transport was organised, we knew what time to meet and all tickets etc. (Except for the nightclub) were already bought so we just had to turn up and enjoy it! Even the car/bus journeys were fun, with great music and company from the rest of the group.
Generally, I just didn’t want it to end, and I made so many friends and great memories that I would recommend it to anyone, and if you get Bonnie as a leader, then you’re in for an awesome time!

Adam was very knowledgeable and gave the whole group a detailed explanation of all the sights that we went to as well as making sure that we were all ok. Craig was incredibly high spirited and fun to be around keeping the banter flowing and was a good sport. All in all a great team that made my Bali experience.

What a brilliant tour! Our group leader was excellent. She knew loads about Bali, could answer any question. Always enthusiastic and great fun. This trip was amazing! I will miss this place and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see something different, party, chill and do new things. 6 out of 5 stars!

The whole experience was amazing, and was made even more special having Bonnie as a group leader sharing Bali with us. She is always upbeat and happy and makes sure the whole group is having a good time. She also makes sure everyone is safe and has the perfect balance between fun, safe and sensible. She has been an inspiring person to meet and has made me want to come back to Bali and do other intro travel trips. I couldn’t have hoped for a better group leader as I had the most amazing time and I truly got a feel for the culture here and Bonnie was so enthusiastic about everything. She was extremely supportive especially when I was struggling walking up the volcano. In summary, I could not have wished for a better trip or a better group leader and I really hope I get to travel with Bonnie again. She has been a true friend and a great supportive leader!! ❤️

Everyone loved her and she made us all laugh so much, but still made sure we were all safe on nights out and at the monkey forest, and would look after anyone who felt even the slightest bit unwell or upset throughout the trip! We covered so much in the 12 days and will recommend to anyone wanting to book!

She’s so happy and really brings all the group together. I have prior medical conditions and she was literally brilliant - sorted me out when I was ill, supported me when I was upset and was just the best group leader. The food included was amazing and there was a mix of local cuisine and western food. The accommodation was nice ( really liked Gili and Ubud) and although they are not luxury, they are good enough for a base - as we were so busy we were not in the accomation a lot. I absolutely loved this trip - a once in a life time experience and Bonnie and the people I met made it 100% better. 10/10 would reccommmed to everyone.

We arrived on the 9 day tour feeling very nervous and scared.. That all changed as we arrived at the airport with arms open from Bonnie James... From the trips planned to the little details behind the scenes which we don't see, it was all perfect and have no regrets.. She handled a big group of us like a pro and like someone who has been doing this for many years, which we only just found out this was her first solo tour group. We both have every faith that Bonnie will go far and achieve her goals as she is amazing and the most welcoming easy person to get a long with.
