The local knowledge was undeniably fantastic. Everywhere we went, each guide (Rianna, Jonny and Marta) were able to reel off so much information. The recommendations were brilliant and although there was plenty to do, we were given plenty of free time in which we could choose how to spend it. I couldn't fault the enthusiasm from the guides for us to have the best time possible. The tour itself has been amazing, and I'd recommend TruTravels a thousand times over due to the incredible guides!

The organisation and local knowledge was great, they were great fun whilst remaining professional and in control.
The nights out in Canggu were great, getting to meet the other tour leaders and Tru staff meeting the other tour groups is a great idea.
I really cannot stress enough how much of a great trip I've had with TruTravels. From booking, to pre-tour communications, through to the last 10 days - it has been well organised, managed and delivered by amazing guides. Thanks so much to Rianna, Marta and Jonny for their enthusiasm throughout the tour, their concern for when I was sick and generally for everything they did to make this an amazing Bali Experience. Much love for the tour guides!!!I would definitely recommend a trip with TruTravels!!

Our Tour leader Rianna is amazing and if I was ever to come back I would love it to be her, she went above and beyond for us. Lee our other tour leader is a legend and I would love to see this guy again, a true inspiration and a laugh. Much respect to both of them and all the best to their futures, such an amazing job! The accommodation was incredible and the tour itself was a good price for what it offers. 10/10 lovely jubley! Xxx

For Ri and Lee, could not sing their praises enough. Amazingly professional, and took any potential stress away. It’s amazing to walk away from the tour with two amazing new friends. They are both amazing assets to TruTravels and have done a smashing job. No favour nor question was too much and were a massive helping hand. Infinite amounts of love and respect for both of them!!

The activities I enjoyed the most was the surfing lesson , waterfall visit, monkey forest, and rice terraces. I really enjoyed Ubud the most!

Learning about the temples, cooking class was incredible and really developed my knowledge. The waterfall and rice terraces were also beautiful. The tour had a great ratio of chilled and party nights, meaning there was something for everyone! The tour on a whole was very organised and flowed greatly, with plenty of free time to catch up on sleep, tan and explore. Overall 10/10 and will definitely be travelling with Tru again!

All of us as a group got on really well too, was was really nice. The trip itself hasn’t been too full, it’s evenly balanced, get some free time and not too many early starts. It was really good to make friends with everyone and the activities helped me do things I never thought I would do such as snorkelling, paddle boarding, surfing. Dinner and nights out together were even better, and I’m happy breakfasts were included. There was always options and Ri and Lee were always open to our suggestions. Every place we visited was so different and helped me experience Bali, more than I could have done myself!

Nights out were fun, felt like everyone was welcoming and made you feel comfortable and at ease. I thought leaders Ri and Lee were really good at giving information, checked with the group about plans, very attentive, good at including everyone, making everyone feel welcomed. Genuinely lovely people and could have asked for better leaders!

We had the opportunity to discover unknown places of Indonesia and I am so glad. The experience of living on the boat for 3 days has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I would suggest this trip to every body. The guys on the boat were so helpful and friendly and they were so kind in showing us the best points for mantas and snorkelling. I really felt like they took care of us. Last night on the boat was so much fun, playing cards with Rianna and listening to music. She has been very kind and sweet (especially with the people who were vomiting because of sea sick). The day on Moyo island was so funny as well with the motorbikes, the waterfalls were so beautiful, lunch on the beach was stunning. Rianna promised us we were going to have a good time and she was right! I enjoyed the bungalows in Sumbawa, very simple but very pretty. I think this part of the trip has been perfect, and I appreciate all that Rianna has done, being patient with everyone and it’s not always easy, someone always complaining about something! Thank you Tru family!

The view point that we went to was the best view I have ever seen, wish I could go back there right now as it was so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family back home as it ticks all the boxes! The accommodation was amazing, Moyo island was scary as you never knew what creepy crawlies were around! But the sunset and the food made up for all of that. Hope Rianna does well in the future which I’m sure she will as she was amazing! Thank you and I will always remember this experience!

She went above and beyond for us and made sure she accomplished all of our/my needs - if there is another TruTravels trip, I’d want her to be my leader! She was funny, outgoing, and on our level! Our group was amazing and we’ve all got on so well :) these will be the memories that last for a lifetime and will never be forgotten! I’m so happy I got to swim with manta rays and got to see the Komodo dragons it’s been my dream! The views I’ve seen have been out of this world and the boat, the hiking, the views were unreal! I wish Rianna all the best in the future and would love to see her again one day. Lovely jubly!

I started the tour in Bali, w…Today is the last day of my 18 day Bali and Beyond tour with TruTravels. I had an amazing time! The tour was amazing and for me even too short because I loved it so much! I started the tour in Bali, we visited Canggu, Ubud, Gili T. I enoyed the temples, rice fields, waterfalls and snorkelling the most. I was also able to do the Mount Batur volcano hike which was hard to do but something I will never forget! I would also love to visit other places in Bali such as Uluwatu. I absolutely loved the 'beyond' part of the tour, travelling from Gili T to Lombok was very well organised. I would prefer to see more of Lombok on the tour and I loved it so much, and I also enjoyed the trip to Moyo Island! The best part was the liveaboard boat, the food was good, the views from the boat were amazing. I would like to have something extra like a lunch on the beach if we are the only ones on it. The tour was SO GOOD and I will never forget it. Thank you Rianna <3

Our tour guide Rianna was amazing, she was so much fun and always happy and smiling. It was good learning about some local culture at Sasak village and the waterfalls on Lombok were beautiful. The journey to Sumbawa was quite long but was worth it to get somewhere off the beaten path and much less touristy, the ferry was an interesting experience! The waterfalls on Moyo were great and worth the time to get there, we had the place to ourselves. I loved the live aboard boat, the viewpoint on Padar island was stunning and was one of the highlights of the trip for me, along with seeing the komodo dragons. It was cool to see manta rays but the currents were quite strong and it was difficult to see them. The food on the boat was excellent and always got more than enough. Rianna always gave us plenty of information about the places we were visiting and made sure we were having a good time. I would definitely recommend the Komodo island Hopper!

It was incredible seeing remote islands, meet local people and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Despite the long travel day, I enjoyed the inclusion of Sumbawa, as it meant we could have a unique experience compared to most tours that just do trips from labuan bajo. Rianna was an excellent tour leader - she was professional in the day to day organisation and made us feel secure when off the beaten track. Most significantly, she made me feel very welcome and included in everything. The only downside of the experience was we started as a group of 4, although I liked our group it was still a very small number. This is of course out of Tru's control but would suggest a minimum of 6 pax for this tour

This trip was amazing to leave the hustle and bustle of Bali and experience what else Indonesia has to offer. We had a waterfall with a tarzan swing all to ourselves! Our group was quiet and maybe 4 people isn't enough for such a remote tour, however our tour guide Rianna was amazing at keeping us entertained and giving us so much information about Indonesia. I would highly recommend the Bali and Beyond tour!

Meeting new people has been so nice and has made the trip so fun. My favourite part of the trip has been surfing, and the 2 hour hike up the volcano. I would never have done that as a solo traveller, so that’s why a group tour has been so good. Rianna has been amazing as well, really making this trip fun, but also the knowledge and guidance too. I would 100% do this trip again and recommend to a friend. PS - Wayan is amazing!!

Rianna was truly amazing with everything, assisting to people’s needs and making it great for the whole group. I will most certainly sell this to my clients and friends I can find. There was lots of activities Che enough free time to do whatever joke heart desired. Thank you for one of the best experiences of a lifetime. Can not wait to do the next adventure with you guys!!

I could not ask for a better tour leader, she is amazing! She makes you feel very welcome, friendly and down to earth, authentic and this tour wouldn’t have been such a great experience without her! The accommodation is amazing in all 3 places, very comfortable and beautiful. All the activities were well thought through and the experience is just amazing. For the price we have paid, I think it’s value for money as we got a lot out of this tour and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I love Rianna, and would go on any tour knowing she would be my tour guide. She truly goes out of her own way to make sure everyone is happy with their experience. She caters to all needs, all individuals, she is absolutely amazing. She has set the bar high in terms of experience, on this trip and any future trips have a lot to live up to! I am so happy I went with TruTravels!

Rianna made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my stay. I had a few health and money issues and she helped me no matter what time it was. I interrupted her dinner so she could take me to the clinic and she was happy to do so. THANK YOU!

We never felt rushed, love that our days were busy and we spent a good amount of time on all of the activities, we had free time and she was always involved with us. We were such a clumsy group and she looks after all of us with plasters etc. I would love to choose her as my tour guide again! As I never felt alone, stressed or scared. It’s all the small things that count and she did it 100%!! Thanks Rianna, you’ve made memories with me for life!!

Our tour guide Rianna was so helpful throughout the tour even before we started with giving us advice on the facebook chat. She has been so knowledgable about Bali, and the whole culture, it has been amazing to learn more about. Rianna even helped us book the volcano trek which wasn't a part of the itinerary. I'd highly recommend Tru and look forward to booking another tour in the future!

The information before the trip was great, and also during the trip. I really enjoyed the temple visit and the snorkelling was also amazing. I did the mount Batur sunrise hike, it was hard to do but the view from the top was beautiful. We had a day program but there was no pressure to do it if you were not able to. I have back problems and Rianna asked me a lot how I felt, an at the activities I could just watch which was great!
I will definitely book another trip with Tru Travels, and I will never forget this trip!

From start to finish, the tour has been organised to ensure the all the popular touristy areas were included on the itinerary. For the amount of money we paid for the trip, the included places to visit and activities went past expectations, having Mount Batur included as an additional acitvity was actually a massive plus for me as this was the one thing I wanted to do in Bali. The group dynamic was good, and we have all become a little family. Rianna did a brilliant job leading the group, she exudes a chilled out bali vibe which really helped the group to relax and get to know each other. She is a great combination of friendly and professional. The pace of the tour was just about right, never did feel too rushed or that there was not enough time on each activity or place that we visited. There wasn't too much travelling that would mean leaving us exhausted. Everyone was given the option of participating in the evenings activities, the only thing that may possibly help is going to restaurants with more vegan/vegetarian options as it is becoming more popular. Without a doubt this was an amazing tour, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. I would happily come back just for the hotel in Gili T!! I am going home with a lovely tan, a whole new group of friends and many fond, funny memories!!

Now that I am on the last day of our adventure, I feel as though I’ve known each of these girls for longer than 10 days. We really connected and were able to laugh and make fun of each other as if we were family. We really experienced each activity to the fullest, the hotels were great and all in good locations. Rianna was a wonderful guide, I really appreciated that she took an interest in the group and spent time with us. Overall I had a great 10 days and would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Xx

It was so nice for everything to be organised for us and for us not to worry about anything. Made it a lot easier to navigate a place I knew little about.
Rianna was great! She literally knew everything about the island and answered each and every question we had. She’s not only super knowledgeable and organised but so much fun as well. She’s always up for a night out if any of us are and always knew the best places to go. She really is an asset to your team. Thanks so much for the great trip!

I didn’t believe surfing would be my thing, but Tru Travels proved me wrong and the surfing lesson has been one of the best highlights of my Bali experience. I have eaten new foods, tried new activities, seen new places and cultures and I can’t wait for my next Tru travels adventure!

For a solo traveller it’s a great opportunity to meet new people. The group leader was amazing and thanks to her we were a group indeed and got close to each other. It was an amazing experience!

The weather here was amazing from changing from Canada winter. Rianna was a fantastic guide, she was extremely friendly, kind and very welcoming. Rianna made everyone feel included and was very flexible. Probably give her a raise as she works too hard xx I would recommend this tour to my friends and family back home and suggest booking a Tru Travels tour anytime. From start to finish it was brilliant, and Rianna was always there to make it the best it could be and give us any info or help we needed. It was well organised and not strict allowing for down time between activities. Surfing was one of the best days, as was snorkelling and throughout Rianna was checking to ensure safety and happiness as well as providing educational experience! 10/10 would recommend! Both Rianna and the tour :)

She made sure each group member was always okay and having a good time. I liked the ride fields the most, surfing class, cooking class and temples! The hotels were really clean apart from Gili T, however all good. I think because we had the other two hotels so good, gilis t didn’t quiet meet the same standards (cleanliness).

I immediately felt welcomed and at ease as Rianna invited us to a Facebook group so that we could all get to know everyone on the tour and ask any questions. It was also a bonus that the airport pickup was included as it releived us from a lot of stress before the tour started.
Accommodation, activities and transportation was amazing. Each guide made the experience fun, easy and stress free. I particularly enjoyed how the activities provided us with an opportunity to embrace ourselves with the local culture as well as having fun at the same time. A personal highlight for me was the surfing lesson and I felt lucky that we had so many instructors with us to ensure we had the best experience. In fact, all activities were a highlight for me and j am grateful to have done them across the 10 days.
Ultimately I do not think the trio would have been anywhere near as good if it wasn’t for our guides: Rianna, Dean, Eman and Elias. Each guide found a great balance in assisting you and giving you independence. I felt at ease the whole time knowing that I could go to the guides with any questions or concerns they would do their best to help. There were countless occasions the guides went the extra mile to help, for instance I was so happy with how seriously they took my peanut allergy and they made sure to cater for me everywhere. Also I was particularly happy with how Eman and Elias went to go get medication in the early hours of the morning for someone who was really sick. Overall I had a great time, and this is an experience I will never forget!

The highlight of the trip for me has to be the view at the top of mount batur, but not so much getting up there! However now it’s done I’m so glad I pushed through! The local guide was so supportive and result helped us. Second to the view at the volcano was seeing a huge turtle swim underneath us - it actually bought a tear to my eye it was so incredible. Throughout the whole tour Ri has been fantastic, she’s been so patient, kind, caring and friendly. We were really able to come together as a group and that’s all down to Ri. She is a credit to Tru Travels! My card was eaten by the ATM and I was left with no money and Ri withdrew cash for me throughout the entire tour with no issues. She’s made great suggestions to meals to please all the groups culinary tastes, she’s not put pressure on anyone to do things and read the vibe of the group so well. We played the greatest drinking game to get to know everyone which worked a treat. The guides party demeaor soon showed, which was right up our street making us even more excited! The highlights of the tour for me was surfing, the rice terraces, and snorkelling, all so well organised and fun filled. We definitely couldn’t have organised a trip ourselves to this standard and fit so much in within 10 days. Especially the unconditional support from the tour guides, meaning we have made friends for life. The chosen restaurants/bars were amazing, allowing us to indulge in tasty local food to fully experience Balinese culture, or have a hearty western meal if needed. Especially enjoyed laughing Buddha in Ubud with the live music, and egoiste in Gili T for good food. Got to then hotel and it was better than expected. The meal to get to know everyone was such a nice touch and made us all bond straight away. The leaders were so nice and helpful throughout the tour, always explaining the next day and putting in the group chat so we don’t forget. They helped with our bags when moving from one place to another and sorted any problems we had on the way. The itinerary on the website sounded amazing but the actual reality was so much better. The activities were so much fun and covered all ages and abilities. It was also really nice to see the tour leaders bonding with the locals and telling us about the local culture. The places we were taken to eat were amazing, well priced and catered to all different dietary requirements. It was an experience of a lifetime and I will definitely be coming back to do another tour!

The guides truly made the experience so much better! I’m not the most confident person but I was determined to push myself this trip and I feel I wouldn’t have been able to do so without their support. Whether it was Dean helping me find medication when ill, or Ri helping me do the things I wasn’t confident on like the snorkelling or the Bali swing. I will be truly sad to leave this group we I’ve has such a good time but I am so glad to have all these photos and memories to take with me. The two trainee guides Eman and Elias were incredible. Both such down to earth guys having a good time but more than happy to stay back and help with anything you need. Having such a big team of guides made the trip all the more incredible as there was always someone to help you when you needed. I am still debating if Elias will fit in my suitcase or not..

My favourite place on this trip was Gili T, the island of pure paradise, a paradise you can never get bored of. Tru Travels has made everything so smooth and stress free. She arranged our airport pickup and sent us a map of the local area, recommending places for us to go before the tour started. It was great for us to be able to ask her questions before the trip and I felt she went further in her job role, giving us her time and advice whenever we wanted, before and after the tour.
All the tour guides made the trip so fun and I felt we were on holiday with friends rather than guides. They brought such a great energy to the group and were always entertaining us, and helping us bond with the other group members. We were made to feel comfortable and welcome.
The itinerary was amazing and I couldn’t fault a thing. There was a really good balance between experiencing the Balinese culture and doing amazing, fun acitivities like the surfing lesson and snorkelling. The tour guides were so knowledgeable about every place we stayed at and all the activities we did. My favourite part was going to Gili T - it was such a cool place to see and all the local people were so accommodating and friendly. We got to swim alongside turtles which is something I’ll never forget.

My favourite activities was the surfing in Kuta, the rice terraces and of course the shopping! My favourite memory would be drinking a Bintang and getting a nose piercing. The terraces made me cry out of pure joy and excitement of the pure beauty of it as well as Wayan teaching me how to play the Marmba. The snorkelling on Gili T is an amazing experience.
I would recommend saving more money if you want to spoil yourself with nice dinners and drinks. Definitely pack a backpack instead of a suit case, and bring less stuff so you can buy more goodies!

Every activity organised was great and so much fun. We had the last 3 nights in lovina replacing Gili T, and it could not have been better. Lovina and the surrounding areas are beautiful, and the dolphin watching and aling aling waterfall were absolutely stunning.
We had Rianna as our group leader and we could not have had a better person - she’s ace and made the tour what it was.
I’d definitely travel with TruTravels again, the most authentic holiday I’ve had - thank you!!!!

They kept up the morale at all times - even on our 10 hour journey Lombok!
The cooking class was my favourite activity by far. Dom encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and confront my fears in paddle boarding (which I ended up loving) so for that I’m very grateful. Rianna checked on me to make sure I was okay when snorkelling and made me feel happy and confident in the sea.
Perhaps we missed r m but maybe could have been clearer it was a party heavy tour, but that’s just personal preference :)

The itinerary was great and the local guide really helped to give a feel for the culture of Bali.
Hard to choose a favourite memory of the trip, climbing mount batur was challenging and an incredible experience. I loved Ubud, especially the cooking class and having free time to explore. I had a great time on Gili t as well, loved the mix of beautiful chilled days on the beach and wild nights out. The snorkelling was definitely a highlight (sorry couldn’t pick just one thing!)
The balance of free time and activities was really well organised. I would have loved more free time in Ubud, but just gives me an excuse to go back. The tour leaders were so awesome at keeping us excited and in a good mood even when unforeseen circumstances happened e.g the violent waves that meant we couldn’t surf etc

This is due in no small part to our tour leader Rianna who was fantastic! It was more like having a mate who knew everything along for the ride. Even when we were unable to finish the tour as planned, due to the earthquakes, Rianna and TruTravels managed to pull new hotels and activities out of nowhere including cliff jumping, temple visits and a morning out with the dolphins which did not disappoint. In 10 days this tour covered a lot of the beautiful island of Bali with as many activities to match and just enough downtime to keep you going for a quality night out every so often! We had cultural experiences, surfing, great restaurants and bars, beautiful waterfalls, monkeys, cooking classes and an optional mountain hike to watch the sunrise (well worth it). When it comes to our wonderful tour leader Rianna, she was organised, flexible and helpful with any situations that arose, not only that but she has a quality knowledge of the Island and customs and a way with the locals that makes you feel comfortable - can’t sing her praises enough.
Overall enriching experience, good friends made and some lovely memories - definite ratings to TruTravels!

All of the tour was great, but I enjoyed Gili T the most as it was like paradise. Snorkelling was a great activity as we were able to get real close to the sea life. I'd like to visit some more cultural temples and visit local markets

No other feedback than to stress the professionalism and composure of Dom and Rianna. They saved the trip, even when we were on a 10 hour slow ferry at the last minute!

The cooking class, snorkelling day and jiggys night out were my favourite parts of the trip! We had such a large group and took a long time to do activities as so many people. May have been easier to split into two groups. However Rianna and Dom handled it all really well! Thanks guys :)
At the beginning it wasn’t easy to feel a part of the group because of the nationality and difference of age, but that changed after a few days and in the end it was amazing. I enjoyed doing a lot of different activities with the group like the cooking class, because it helped to bond the group and we had a good group atmosphere. I loved the places we went to eat and one of the best moments was when we got stuck on the ferry and played games ;)
Everything was great! I would only consider changing the accommodation in Ubud because the breakfast was late sometimes, but location was good. I’m very happy we had nice group leaders who always tried to make us feel happy as possible!

It was a great trip and I had fun, only feedback was some of the restaurants were a little bit expensive for me. I understand the it’s not compulsory but loved the group so wanted to go, but other than that loved loved loved the trip!

I can’t single out one favourite thing as I loved it all. The cooking class was really good and so interested to learn about the Balinese culture.
I’d never heard of Tru travels before but I would definitely go on another trip with them. As a solo traveller, it was great having something planned for most nights, and made great friends

Great mix of activities, could just drop into it if you were tired or had sunstroke. Surfing was so much fun, loved the optional volcano trek and exploring the rice terraces. Loved the Gili islands, was so much fun snorkelling and paddle boarding, awesome nights out with Rianna (and Viv!)
We had a fantastic tour guide who made the trip better than I thought it could be. Would request her again for other Tru Travels Bali tours. Always knowledgable and helpful with everything. One small improvement would be to have better bikes provided on the Gili's, they kept breaking and slowing us down

I felt safe and comfortable the whole time, learnt so much, made some life long friends and made some of my fondest memories. Personal highlights were surfing, snorkelling with turtles and of course partying on Gili! Thank you Rianna and thank you TruTravels for a sick experience. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough!

I have just got back from the 10 day Bali tour, lead by Rianna, and it was absolutely incredible. I loved all the locations we went to, especially Gili Island. I loved all the locations we went to, especially Gili Island. The accommodation was lovely and all the transport was private and air conditioned. I could not of asked for a better guide, Rianna was really knowledgeable, chilled and really good fun. She organised and planned everything well and was always on hand via whatsapp if we needed anything. We were joined by Viv (another guide) on the second part of the tour who was equally lovely and helpful. I would recommend going as I had the best 2 weeks of my life :)

The cooking class was my favourite activity. Learning about the Balinese culture and cooking with all of the ingredients was really good. I'd have liked to maybe have an extra day with free time in each place to explore more but other than that it has been so amazing!
