Kelsey was an excellent tour guide, very informative and knew all the best places to go. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! It's so hard to pick a favorite activity, it was all amazing!! My favourite place was Gili T. Such a fun but relaxed island, with the freedom of cycling around the whole island. We were a small group which had it's advantages, with more time on activities, however it would have been nice to have had a slightly bigger group from a social view.

My experience with Kelsey was absolutely amazing! The tour itself worked brilliantly and really gave us an insight into the culture. Brilliantly organised and such a wonderful group of people!

The whole 10 days were amazing! Ubud was my favourite as there were loads of planned activities but we still had pleanty of free time to explore Ubud and go to the markets. Kelsey was an excellent tour guide, she was so knowledgeable about the culture of Bali and gave us advice on things to do in our free. She was so much fun and made the 10 days so enjoyable :)

I really enjoyed the range of activities available on the tour it was a nice mixture . Out of the activities I most enjoyed the cooking class. Out of the activities I most enjoyed the cooking class. More pre trip information could be given about appropriate footwear e.c.t to bring as some activities were more adventurous then they sounded. Also I would have bought walking boots if I'd known about the optional Volcano trek.

As a first time traveller with some issues regarding mental health I had Kelsey as my tour guide, I emailed her regarding my issues before the tour and was so delighted to see an email reply that laye…As a first time traveller with some issues regarding mental health I had Kelsey as my tour guide, I emailed her regarding my issues before the tour and was so delighted to see an email reply that layed out, in absolute minute detail the 10 days of our tour, specifically focusing on the areas where my concerns were focused. In truth it made the tour possible to do as I am not sure i would have been able to otherwise.
Throughout the entire tour, Kelsey looked after our entire group and me especially making sure to reassure me but focusing it group-wide so as to keep it neutral.
I think Kelsey makes a fantastic tour guide, she is caring and very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job at dealing with a very mixed bag of personalities for one of her first solo tours.

Kelsey is a fun-loving, helpful and really warm person.
The tour was varied and had covered all the highlights in Bali.
The accommodations (except ubud) were good.

The tour had some really fun activities, surfing was a highlight, and although not part of the tour kelsey helped set up a volcano hike which was really beautiful.
I would recommend this tour, but the only disappointing thing is that there were only 5 on the tour, and I didn't really connect fully with anyone. I would suggest going in high season so there'd likely to be more people on the tour as whilst the activities are fun, it's who you're experiencing them with that really counts.

Kelsey made our whole tour so chilled and relaxed, as transport , tickets and activities were organised by her. There were loads of options of things to do, loads of shopping and great food places, Kelsey had great local knowledge and good relationships with the local people. The food places and party spots she took us to were really nice, and there were always options to do your own thing if you wished. Kelsey would usually hang with us during any free time which was nice and she was supportive of all of us and what we wanted to do! She's a total babe, that went above and beyong to make sure we had a good time!
10/10 would recommend!

On top of that i also had so much fun doing all the different activities because of Kelsey. I’ve been abroad before, but I’ve never done an experience before. I met Kelsey at breakfast and she was so friendly, giving advice where to visit before we started this actual experince! Kelsey made us all feel very welcome and it was so fun everyday with her, I loved our group everyone was lovely! When we arrived at the Gili Islands Kelsey took us for a night out and made sure we were all safe and walked us back to the hotel after our night out! I recommend this to anyone and Kelsey is the best tour guide ever ... thanks Kelsey :)

Group leaders Kelsey Hilner and Oliver are not the best leaders. I wouldn't recommend going with this group of travelers on this tour are very young and they don't know anything about traveling. Best thing is to do this travel by yourself and that way you are not restricted to a itinerary that takes place in middle of the day so you would have pretty much waist all day for one tour. Plus everything in this tour expect the lowest quality of everything. Bali is already cheap by itself but they even choose something even cheaper so you would face situation like a big spider in the hotel room, acoomdations that is so far from the city etc... I wouldn't recommend this bali trip for my worst enemy and i wish i had done it by myself i would've gotten more out of it with the money that i paid them.

I did the Bali 10 day tour which was awesome, so much was included for the price! We had activities such as surfing, cooking classes etc everyday which was so much fun but also free time to do our own…I did the Bali 10 day tour which was awesome, so much was included for the price! Accommodation was all to a very good standard and all the hotels had pools! I had Kelsey as a tour guide and she was awesome and made sure everyone had a great time! Great tour for exploring Bali and meeting new people

Kelsey one of the current tour guides for Tru Bali experience. Is geniune, charismatic, kind and fiercely committed to the projects she choices to undertake. She is an inspiration daily! I never really cared to go to Bali but after all the pictures I have seen of the lush lands. The beautiful memories being made and the friendships blooming everyday day while enjoying delicious food, exploring temples and shareing late night beverages. I can now say I'm excited to come do some Bali adventuring of my own! Just wanna give a shout out to TruTravels I've only ever heard good things and thanks for hiring my friend she truly is a champ! You guys keep up the great work!

This “True Bali Experience 10 days” rather been disappointing. I know with that money for 9 days I could’ve done so much more and could’ve stayed at better accommodations, did more tours not just free…This “True Bali Experience 10 days” rather been disappointing. I know with that money for 9 days I could’ve done so much more and could’ve stayed at better accommodations, did more tours not just free tours to see things that are free or that is so cheap that is almost free also without waisting anytime each day. The customer service messed up my itinerary so I lost a day and half of the tour because they told me the wrong date for coming back. The don’t have complete itinerary as to what you will do day to day it’s all based on playing it by the ears and a very vague itinerary. Not enough information is put out so I had ask so many questions each day as to what time meeting up, what to wear, what to look for. Kelsey speaks so fast that I could barely understand what she’s saying, she gives you 10 minutes to get ready to Meetup so be prepared for a quick time change, she has a bit of accent and also talks thousand of miles per second like in a hurry hurry speaking, she is in her own world as far as her personality goes she doesn’t treat you with respect, rolls her eyes whenever she doesn’t like to answer your questions, feels pressured or under pressure that she is stressed out and not happy, she just goes through the motions, she has her own group of people that she talks to and hangs out and forgets that we hired her to be tour guide and to include us in too in her conversations which I didn’t understand becusee they all speak fast and had strong accents. I didn’t had good time or as much fun as I imagined that I would have on this tour. They pick the worst location, and accommodations further from everything so I had to get taxis in land , and on the islands I had to get horse taxi which all of these transportations is expensive. So I didn’t save any money by going with a group, and on top of it I had to pay way extra money each day, for food, taxi, and the accommodations are so cheap that they didn’t even had shampoo and conditioner or even body wash. And sometimes they would have a little soup but they make your skin so dry and itchy. The trip is poorly magnagrd by unexpiernced two individuals who don’t really care about putting enough informations out. I would’ve done way more by myself and really would’ve enjoyed it than just drinking and not do awhole lot. Each day one thing would be booked and it would take role in middle of the day. So by the time you get back you would be all tired and especially after dinner you wouldn’t want to do too much because the timing is so off on those tours. Overall I didn’t like the tour at all.
