About me:CIAO BELLI! Here's Vincenzo (Vinnie for most of my Travellers), Italian through and through, after graduating in Law I realized that I cared more about other Ls (like Live and Laugh) and so started to do what I Love. I've been touring around Europe since 2016, hundreds of places visited and people met after, it still amazes me the way people look at the Colosseum or the Eiffel tower for the first time, or how much a friendship can grow in the short span of a trip. To Travel is to find out more about ourselves, and I couldn't be happier to lead people in this process.. Probably that's one of my favorite things about my job. Oh, and to be as loud as I want. I LOVE THAT.

However, the guide was very impatient with me when my backpack was missing, and I only found my pack due to my air tags. Gadventures was responsible for moving my pack during the day so I am not sure about the reason for the impatience.

I really enjoyed our tour guide Vincenzo and found this to be one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have done in my life time.

The walking tours organised by him were superb. Interactive and interesting. A few suggestions for this trip: The hostel in Valencia desperately needs to be changed. Very dirty and the beds were impossible to access. No ladder to the top bunk? Mouldy showers and overall very unclean. It was however very central and that was the only saving grace. The Morocco portion - local guide in Volubilis was fantastic. I cannot remember his name but his knowledge and explanation of the area was absolutely wonderful. Local guide in Fes made it feel like a product demonstration everytime with a sales pitch at the end. Lisbon hostel, would have picked a property in Baixa location as the hostel was quite far from everything. Loved the hostel in Seville. Super clean and great location. Granada - watch out for those stairs! Pack light as you have to lug your bags for a decent 20 mins uphill on stairs!

I thought we didn't get much for the price we paid for the tour compared to other companies. For the accommodations, most hostels were good except for the hotel in morocco. I didn't feel safe there and I thought overall the hotel experience would be better. Meals, if the meals are included I, along with others, expected that a drink or water would be included as well. It was slightly misleading when we found out we had to pay extra for it. I enjoyed having Vincenzo as our guide, he was fairly knowledgeable, funny and kind hearted.

I met some life long friends in places i have never seen before. The whole trip brought me out of my shell as i am usually a shy person. This is mainly due to vincenzo and the friendly, fun vibe that he portrays. He is always up for a laugh but at the same time he is vwry proffesional as he always has the welfare of the tour at first priority. He is very approachable about any issue big or small you might have. Vincenzo is also very knowledgeable about the history of the places we went and i loved listening to him talk. He had everyones attention because he was so interesting and passionate. My experience aside it was so nice to see someone so passionate about what they do and the history/knowledge that he gave. Vincenzo treated everyone as eqauls and never made someone feel inferior to him. It was almost like he was one of the tour members at times but he always put the job first. All of this made for the tour of my life and i cant wait to do it again. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to travel to please do themselves a favour and go with topdeck. It will be the best thing you do.

He made the long drives blimmin fun with the games and activities he came up with and never made you feel like you had to take part of you didn’t want too, Hes a wonderful human being and is insane at his job! All of the activities I loveeddd! I can’t think of even one thing we did where I was hating my life. The accommodation was also pretty dam nice, sometimes they were a bit small once all of our bags were in the room but I guess their location made up for that. I don’t think I could thank vinnie and topdeck enough for such an amazing time, I’ve made so many new friends and memories i’ll Never forget! I definitely have plans to do another tour sometime soon!

From the morning we arrived at the wombats hostel in London we were welcomed by the then unknown to us tour guide with the name of Vincenzo! He organized the group and got us sorted within a couple of minutes and everyone was visibly relaxed and excited. When we got on the bus after the much important safety and itenirary briefing for the day he won our hearts instantly with the buss's WiFi password!! Every stop was structured but still ensuring freedom that you don't feel like you are on a school tour. All the hostels and hotels were top notch and extremely fun! Our tour was full of fun trips and walking tours and the best advice from our excellent tour Master! We made great friends on the tour and made even more memories. We were under the impression that Vincenzo only had English training before our tour... But on our final day he revealed he actually had tour training and we were his first tour! All of us were stunned as the way the tour was done by Vincenzo was as if he had been doing it for years. Vincenzo is a pro and a great person who is always helpful and gives great advice on attractions!

I say this based on the fact that I've been on some tours with tour leaders that had like 17 years experience(They are legends in the industry), and Vinni was right up there, with them!

Most importantly though, our tour guide Vincenzo was above and beyond. He was incredibly friendly, informative, helpful and likeable. I believe he was one of the main reasons the trip was so enjoyable. He ensured that we had all the information we could want in order to plan our time in the different cities we visited, and told us about things we may need to book in advance to make sure we didn’t miss out on anything ! He also made sure we knew how to get around on the local public transport and importantly how to get home! He was just amazing ! I wouldn’t hesitate to do another trip with Topdeck.

Hotel in Napoli was not great and not in a nice part of town though it was central. Lots of time to explore on your own as not much included activities in the tour.

I was very disappointed in the response from TourRadar regarding my query on travel insurance given the situation with the issues with air traffic control and the cancellation of multiple flights back to the UK.
