Steve was an awesome story teller. Timed every story to its surroundings. Loved his mascots. The 3.5 hour play list from those on the bus was a big hit.

We had the absolute time of our lives! We made so many good friends within this 10 days. The majority of the hostels we stayed at were sanitary and comfortable. Despite my motion sickness the bus was nice. As a vegetarian I worried about starving in Scotland but I was actually very accommodated which is a huge plus. Loch Ness was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed all 3 nights immensely. I would suggest one less night on Orkney and one more night in Oban.

As a single female Traveller I overall had a great time for the most part. I did enjoyed myself and I would recommend to a friend if they wanted to see a LOT of Scotland in a short space of time, however I would suggest they go in with an open mind.
So for the positives, the tour guides where really good and knowledgable. We had Steve and Fiona and both did a really good job driving and being a tour guide. I enjoyed most places we visited, especially loch Ness, isle of sky, Oban and stornoway! Enjoyed all the ferry rides to these places too. Air con on the bus was a plus, however they didn't have toilets. The guides did stop though quite regularly for toilet breaks.
In loch Ness we loved the rib boat, the dinner cruise, the food and canoeing. The accommodation was good too, considering it was hostel type. They also had a bar, where we drank at night which was often lively. Really enjoyed the pub quiz they put on. Couldn't really fault loch Ness or morags lodge personally. Would re visit here. I'm Oban we went to a traditional Scottish dance thing (can't remember the name) and that too was good.
Loved the beaches and cliffs-the scenery was amazing (and breath taking). Scotland is also cheap for food and drinks so it's a win win.
For the negatives I felt we spent too much time in orkney and on a Monday nothing much was happening. I would have preferred 2 nights in Oban. Will definitely want to revisit there. 2 nights in orkney got a bit tedious but hey ho it's the experience. I'm not complaining. The accommodation was good there though. Maybe I'm just uncultured but I didn't like the activity either walking to the tomb of the eagles. That was a trek! The whiskey distillerys was good though. Although Steve and Fiona smashed both roles, I felt it was a big responsibility for one person. Trips I've been on previously have often had a driver and tour guide.
Accommodation was basic hostel share for the most part. If you want privacy or space, you ain't gonna get it unless there are two or more of you in a private room for extra money.
Overall this trip was good and very cultured. There was a mixed group of people of all ages from all over the world. It isnt a trip to party on, if you are expecting night life and clubs. We kinda had to make our own fun and party when necessary. It is a historical, cultural trip. Like I said I really enjoyed it but it is a lot different from previous trips I've been on in America and Europe where we partied non stop.
There where quite a few hidden extras too which meant I spent more money than anticipated, so keeping a little extra aside is Handy. We weren't always sure what we were doing each day and so planning ahead was hard, regarding spenditure and clothes to wear.
Like I said at beginning. Mixed feelings. Overall good. Just need to be open minded and enjoy things as they happen.

Tour guide was excellent and so was the bus and locations, however feel the itinerary could have used one more night at Oban and one less at Loch Ness

Scotland is a beautiful country with many different wildernesses to explore. Abundant in history and culture. There is so much for everyone to discover. This tour help to give you many aspects of these features.
Our tour guides, Steve and Yvonne, did a fantastic job of showing their love for their country. They were excellent entertainers who showed real zeal for the history of Scotland. And a wish for everyone to love it as they do. Doing their part to keep Scotland wild. Steve's enthusiasm was a delight to see and experience. Made the trip that much better having tour guides who were also willing to become apart of the group not merely guides.
This tour has made me wish to see more. I can't wait to start planning my next trip.

He gave a very authentic experience from the food, accent and all the way down to the kilt. He told us old folk stories while driving and catered to every age and demographic in our group. He encouraged us to do some very memorable activities, both of which included very cold Scottish water but it is my fondest memory of my whole 2 months of travel!

Our guide Steve was approachable, relaxed and a proud Scot. He shared plenty of anecdotes and the history about the locations. Overnight accommodation was tidy, with clean toilets and showers, helpful staff. In dormitories consider ear-plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Towel hire for £1. I recommend joining in the Ceilidh, it was two hours of total fun!

I was surprised by the range of ages on this tour- though marketing material suggests the age range is 18-35, there were some older people on this trip which changed group dynamics somewhat.
Accommodation was secure and clean. Most places did not provide breakfast, but this was stated ahead of time (plenty of time to visit Tesco!).
Be aware of the typical Scottish weather- in summer you will still be needing waterproof gear, a scarf and beanie! Be prepared to brave all elements to explore this wild country. Activities won’t be changed just because it’s raining!

That it is a great option and I would totally recommended it to this person. So many unique places and such a good company with the best tour guide possible.
